How or what did you do to make the spring on the vac so flexible?:?? I can't get mine like yours.

I don’t see the double stop caliper on the site

I bought a grinder motor and CBN Wheel from Ken. Jump ahead a couple of years and I'm in another country setting up a shop and I need to coordinate the logistics of a shipment which included the grinder. I emailed Woodturners Wonders and asked how much the unit weighs and received an answer almost immediately. This is why when I'm in the market for something I go to them to see if they sell it before buying elsewhere.

Does the bed slide using a all-thread Archimedes design or is like a electric hydraulic? I love axminsters products so much. Including thae faceplate ring is so handy

Has anyone attempted the Asynmetric grind on the Kodiak? I wonder if it's possible.

What a wonderful concept. Would this work for the cheap wheels that come with the bench grinder? Also, is there any benefit to using these with a wire wheel. Sorry if these are dumb questions

Seems ok but the angles don’t match up.

Mush easier than all of this is simply clean with Trend brand diamond emulsion. It removes the loading instantly. I use a little of it on the CBN before starting sharpening and it prevents loading in the first place. KnifeMaker/Retired after over 47+years in the Craft.

Hi Ken, in your video you explain the head moves approx 1/4" between the A and B settings. I recently purchased one second hand and the head movement is almost nil (I'd say approx 1 degree). Is there a way to achieve the 1/4" movement without wrecking the part? thanks for your help.

Do you make the concave and convex washers for table saws to tru up a blade. ?

Super nova broke right at the magnet. I repaired it. The bulb lasted several years before not working any longer.

Every video I see on the Kodiak system is with bowl gouges and it seems to work great. But what about spindle and roughing gouges that don’t have swept back wings? Will the Kodiak swivel arm sharpen those properly?

I have this lathe, I bought it right at the beginning of the pandemic for about $3,200. I waited 6 months for it, but well worth the wait! No problems at all with it and I turn about 6 times a week for my side hustle business. This thing can handle anything you throw at, just always bring in your tail stocking whenever you can. It doesn't create miracles😂. Happy turning

First time setup question: At 7:45 into the video, you discuss a special machined washer to offset the wheel from the wheel guard, and say you don’t want the wheel hub to ride on the enlarged part of the shaft due to wobbling. This is not the same flat washer as the one in my spherical washer kit. But the machined washer is not supplied with the new wheel. I’m not using a guard, but don’t I need the washer anyway to prevent the wobble?

What are your take on cbn belts?

Hey Ken, hadn’t seen the harness……my unit works really well and like you said that fresh cool filtered air from behind you stay really comfortable. I love the fact that the air is filtered from behind you and gets exposed to a lot less wood dust that is in front of you! Also the supplied pressure testing bag tells you when your filters need changing. Great product……..you’ve lost weight? Still barbecuing. All the best……
