Living small but feeling freedom with nature around us and just sitting back with a coffee letting time slowly slip by. We believe in finding fun and humour with a open minded approach and never taking things to seriously. Wild camping, bushcrafting, Vehicle use and exploration also features among our activities. This is as much a documentation for our two young boys as we are very much older parents .This is real life and naturally moving in different directions and our content will follow a wandering path also.
Many thanks for watching.

West Highland Way, the mountains, and Rannoch Moor. Cold challenging terrains.

Starting at Tyndrum and heading to the bridge of Orchy, we go through beautiful Scottish Highland uplands . Overnight wildcamping in a small spruce woodblock before heading out to the open Black Mount and Rannoch Moor trail . Then, we came down the trail beside the Glencoe Mountain resort to our rest stopof the Kings House Hotel. We have 70 miles under our belt and 26 miles to go. The Devils st...

Heading along the West Highland Way heading to the halfway mark . Beautiful mountain veiws and having to bunker down on a forest hillside when unexpected navigation becomes hard as the light disappears. Logging kinda made for a challenging circumstance and near darkness made us bunker down as darkness and icey tracks forced us to camp up on the high slopes in minus 8 temps. The struggle is real...

This is my journey on the West Highland Way in winter. Starting in Milngavie, we head out late in the day to find a camp. From camp, we headed to the forest NE of Drymen .Then we head for Balmaha after trekking up its slopes covered in ice, making slow progress. Now, the Loch lomond section awaits. We are moving slowly due to ice, but speed and distance should increase . We both are carrying in...

Why not go for a 30
Congratulations.
Well done Andy, I'm sure you have inspired many people to just have a go at walking the Highland Way. You and Dave have just kept on despite the weather conditions and your own age related issues. Pleased you documented this on video as your boys will be sure to be interested as they get older. Take care and thinking of you and the family. Paul
well done
Congratulations on completing the hike. This is on my bucket list, unfortunately, it is a bit down that list. On the bright side, a trip to the UK is now the second item on my bucket list. I enjoyed your video(s), and look forward to your future videos. Stay safe and have fun.
Youll have to do the 3 peaks take the boys and the dogs! Get the missus to do ground crew!
Well done, you managed to avoid the Human shit then?
Take my hat off to the two of you. Very inspirational video. I'm 58 and as you say the down hills are a killer but we have to keep at it.
⭐️👏⭐️💪⭐️💪⭐️👏⭐️
Fantastic, well done the two of you, you bought the wonderful scenery of Scotland too me. thank you. Ben Nevis sounds like a good idea?
😀
It's been great to follow your journey Andy. I reckon you've both earned a well earned rest.
Enjoyed walking the trail you was good company Till the next one
Well done to the both of you sure you will be back to climb Ben Nevis
Great to see you back. Well done on the trip.
Is it BLO you coat the staffs with Andy
Hello 🙋♂️. Hope you are good !! I am a hiker and make my own sticks from fallen trees 🌳 whilst on my route back from the climbed mountains ⛰. I normally leave the wood 🪵 to dry out for around a year in my shed 🛖 !! Have you ever tried a; small metal or wooden shim once you have attached your copper pipe end ?? That’s how I do mine - the wood 🪵 expands to the ID of the copper tube - I don’t have to put in any pins to keep the pipe on the stick 🦯 Thanks 🙏 James ✌️
Hi ,thanks for the information about your method of applying a tip. Appreciate your comment and watching. Andy.
love it great channel
Hi , I appreciate you watching and commenting. Andy.
I would like to have your rejects. 😊
Hi , thanks for watching. To be honest, there is never any wasted material. At worst, it's fire kindling. Andy.

This brings back childhood memories. Thumbs up!
Hi, yeah, they are Lunatics and a full-time job keeping out of trouble. Thanks for watching and commenting. Andy.
Awesome video buddy. You made good progress, what’s for best mileage day so far ? Fair play using a tarp tent. ⛺️
Hi,I think we did a 10 mile on one leg but 4 mile on our worst. I would not recommend anyone use the amount of kit we are carrying . Thanks for watching. Andy.
Bob looked great thats what it's all about enjoying the outdoors
Hi, yeah, we have travelled definitely slow enough to enjoy the scenery .Thanks for watching. Andy.
Hi Andy, brilliant progress so far, that looks very cold and slippery. Great video. All the best to you both. Take care Paul
Hi Paul. Yes some patches are real ankle snappers. Got 26 miles to do.looking forward to walking up in my own bed. Many thanks for supporting the channel. Andy.
makes a big difference to your well being having a comfortable dry night
Hi , Oh yes it is a big moral booster being in a proper bed.. There have been a few uphill sections i really wished I had taken your offer of borrowing some light weight kit.....lol. Thanks for watching and commenting. Andy.
It looks rough going Andy but you are both getting there.
Hi , I think we have over packed but ironically we have used most of our kit also. 26 miles to go and back to North Cornwall. Thanks for watching and commenting. Andy.
Good afternoon. Keep yourself warm and keep putting one foot in front of the other. You have got this. Stay safe and have fun
Hi , I much appreciate your support. There have been times as you say you have to just put one foot in front of another even when you're tired. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. Andy.
Well done, the hotel must have felt like heaven. Much appreciate you filming your journey, your family must be very proud of you, all the best on the next leg,
Hi , We have stayed in accommodation more than planned simply cause it's been brutally cold. It's been pleasurable to rest in a proper bed for sure. Getting older and lumping an old military load carrying system is for younger fitter men. Next time, light weight, I think. Many thanks for watching. Andy

Nice one guys, Dave come on … Great watch..
Thanks for watching. Andy.
Great videos guys and good achievement so far. Conditions and landscapes are just like we hike on here in Austria but in the winter we always hike up to a nice warm hut 🛖.
Hi , a nice warm hut sounds great. We every few day have been staying in guest house so not fully roughing it. Thanks for watching. Andy.
getting dark so early really is a pain lol
Hi , It's usually 8am before any real usable light is available, and at.15.30 we start looking to camp up due to fading light. I guess that's another reason this trail is popular in summer.(longer days). Thanks for watching. Andy.
😀
Hi , Thanks for watching.
Magical Folk- law country, you are in your element. It's been great to follow you on your quest👍
Hi , We have done 70 miles now we have 26 ahead. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Andy.
