Students say one strength of Felician University’s Hybrid Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) programs is its flexibility. Our Hybrid ABSN program in Parsippany, New Jersey, combines online coursework with in-person labs and clinicals, while our On-Ground ABSN program in Rutherford is entirely in-person.
Student Andralee Montanez chose Felician University to study nursing because of its hybrid option and because she could earn a degree in as few as 16 months. “I can work at my own pace, around my own schedule, and still get things done,” she says.
Andralee also highlights the importance of the program’s diversity. “Everybody's so different. Some people are really young; some people are from different walks of life,” she says. “We all have these differences, but we come together and can relate.”
Kevin Lee says the admissions process went smoothly, and he felt supported every step of the way. “The admissions officer was continually reaching out, communicating with me, so it was a very seamless process,” he says. “I was never unsure at any point in the process. Felician leverages previous college credit to enable students to finish nursing as a second degree more quickly. Once students have met the prerequisite requirements, they can begin the 16-month hybrid or on-ground program. Regardless of which path they choose, our ABSN students can graduate ready to take the NCLEX.
