This is so interesting. I want to… decide on a timeline for a BIG project for next year that I still haven’t set a real deadline for. 🎉
Sounds exciting!!!
These are all such great ideas 😍🥰
Thanks ^^ Glad you like them!
Lots of great ideas! 😊 I love that they are all very simple yet creative and personalizable, if that’s a word 😅 I would love a bookish day for a gift, just going with me to browse for books, sit in a cafe to read, or just fix all the food and things at home so I can just read and not worry about anything 😊 I’m a princess like that haha! High maintenance but quite cost effective XD
Ahah, that sounds perfect, doesn't it? I would love that too honestly! I'd be happy to organize that for my partner too, but he isn't that big of a reader... ^^'
I NEED that platypus sweater 😍 It's so cute! My fiance and I both got each other embossers without knowing last christmas so it's definitely a great gift for book lovers 😂 I have the same japanese train book nook! Great ideas!!
Ahaha I love that sweater so much! I just love platypuses 💛 I see you have impeccable taste ☺️
I cosign all of these ideas! My friend gifted me an embosser a few years ago and it was the best gift ever. My husband bought some book nooks and built them for our bookshelves - I love them. I thought your friendship bracelet idea was really cute and creative. I hadn't thought about making it a bookish gift ... I also loved the personalized bookmark idea. You are a genius gift giver. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Oooh I want to see your book nooks 😍 Awww thanks. I love giving gifts so I think about it a lot I guess 😂
Which one is your favorite book idea?
I love the reflections for the end of the year! That's definitely something I want to try to do end of this year but... I didn't really plan anything in 2024. But I'm definitely going to do some reflection haha. If you figure out what to do with cooking and making things easier, definitely let me know as well because... I'm also struggling a lot with it 😅 Maybe you can make a video for putting books in the little libraries? 2 birds 1 stone! Clean out your house, and an extra video for you 🥰 I'm rooting for you to get the 200 subs!! I believe in you 🤩 You reminded me about the photo album, we had professional photos done this year for our "wedding" aka, we paid for professional wedding photos in the wedding dress because we just signed papers for our marriage but I never got around to printing it 🤣 Lots of awesome goals! So maybe my goals might to copy you for (1) printing the album, and (2) doing the reflections!
Oh yes, you definitely need to print some wedding photos!!! And you can reflect on the year even if you hadn't made specific plans :) I already donated a first batch of books to the library and it felt great, but I didn't film it (feels a bit difficult, as it involves other people ^^'). There is just one little library next to where I leave, it's not a big thing here. I might put some books there, but it's a bit in the middle of a vacant lot at the moment as they're supposed to turn the place into a park but it's still just mud right now, soooo not sure it's worth filming either XD Sorry, I'm doing a terrible job as a TH-camr XD
I want to talk about increasing your TH-cam channel and video views. How to improve your video views. Can you give me some time? I will explain to you. Check your email inbox. I have sent the email.,,,,
Same! I have nothing that really solidifies the transition into the new year/Winter for me, but I might say Beartown whenever I get around to it because of the snow 😂You did remind me to add Onyx Storm onto my TBR (I Finally finished Fourth Wing!! I really like the world/setting... but I really didn't like the romance 😳) Which is a shocker to me but personally, I didn't think they had chemistry. Everything else about Fourth Wing though?? Love it. Can't wait to see your plans for 2025!
Ahah, I think Fourth Wing is such a weird book. There's a lot to criticize, but still, I found it super addictive, so it surely did some things well. I loved the dragons, some bits of the plot. The romance, yeah, it's very insta-lovey and basically just based on hotness - there isn't much depth there, let's be real XD
@@Curious-Cat Yes!! But I did really enjoy everything else about the book. Maybe because I love romance so much, I ended giving it a lower rating. But genuinely, if the author didn't focus on the romance, it's a solid 4.5⭐+
Seeing other people struggle (with bloopers) while recording makes me feel so much better haha because SAME haha 💕💕 I also want to get a better meal plan system. Including grocery shopping and all the things. I want to try the meal boxes but I feel like they are way too expensive!
Oh yeah, you're definitely not alone in that XD Yeah, I don't think we have as much good options (especially veggies ones) in France for meal boxes, but it sounds so helpful actually! Maybe I should have another look, see what the market looks like now (it's been a while last time I did)
Those sound like some great goals. Good luck on achieving all of them! Also, Jolabokaflod sounds lovely 🥰
Thank you ☺️ I already crossed off a couple from the list, but it’s still a long way to go 😅
Love a yearly review ❤❤ Setting goals can be so hard. But I definitely have to start up some training 🎉😅😊
I’m so ambivalent about goals. Love them and hate them 😅 but done right, they can be a powerful tool.
These are some great goals before the end of 2024! I'll be cheering you on the whole way! 💕 I'm hoping to finish my 10-ish before the end books 😅So far I've finished one book, but with bookmail and ARCs I've added more 😅🤣
Thank you 💛 Ahah we love a reading feast before the end of the year 😂
@@Curious-Cat we sure do 🤣 just need some snow to make it extra cozy for reading weather
Can’t believe it’s almost the end of the year!! 😳 Very excited for Onyx Storm, we’ve been waiting with that cliffhanger for way too long, haha. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Mistborn, as I’ve mentioned before! I should do a low buy year in 2025 as well, haha my bookshelves are literally overflowing… I hope your 2024 reading ends up just how you want it to!! ❤️
I know! 2024 feels like a blur. But I’m fine to put it behind me and start fresh 😅 Ahah yeah, we’ll see how I do on the low buy front. I think it’s going to be tough 😅😅😅
@ 100% agree!! Hoping for a better 2025! And yeah it’s a good goal to have but seems difficult to actually stick to 😬😂
If you manage all that, I will be very impressed! It’s a very good list though, ambitious but good. I love the idea of a clean slate too. I’ve mostly been thinking about goals and to-dos in terms of books and videos, but seeing this makes me want to think about if there is anything else I want to accomplish. I mostly feel like scrapping this year, or putting it in the archive folder, and starting fresh January 1st! 😂 Apart from booktube of course, that has been amazing. I hope you can achieve all or some of your goals and that you will feel good crossing them off the list! 😊
I’ve already crossed a couple of items since filming, which feels encouraging 😊 but yeah, I feel ya, 2024 has been a tough year for me too. I hope 2025 will be better!
@ Good job! 👏
Thank you 😊
What is the ONE thing you need to accomplish before the year ends?
Oouu mistborn is so good! I hope you and Rochelle enjoy it! I think it will be such a great buddy read for you both! 💕💕
Thank you! I'm literally about to start it now ^^
Loved seeing the horses!! I’m so sorry you’re struggling with burnout with your writing. I hope it gets better soon.
Thank you 💛 to be fair, the burnout isn’t caused by the writing. It’s more that burnout affects everything, and so it’s annoyingly seeping into my writing as well. I also hope it gets better soon 😅 thank you for watching and for the support 🙏
I would love to know more about your book! I personally need to start making writing a priority this next year
I haven’t shared much about it online. It’s a fantasy novel. I’m still unsure if it’s YA or adult. I think probably new adult, but it’s not talked about that much. I still have so much to figure out about it 😅 Sounds like a great goal for 2025 💪
🤣We got this! I had a slight panic moment when I saw the cover looked different for your book vs mine. But we're good I think my version is a cover redesign and I do have the correct book 😅
XD As long as it's Mistborn book 1, we're good! I think I'll be able to start on Tuesday
@@Curious-Cat I FINALLY started it last night and my fiancé has been constantly checking it to see how it is
This is such a fun tag! And I can’t wait to read Unmasking Autism together before the end of the year!
Me too ^^
Hi Cat! That mischievous giggle after saying "so I got something in the mail today..." Is so endearing and relatable! The horse frolicking in the field gave me so much joy. Lol... it's kinda how i feel im the mornings when I stretch and don't want to get up from yoga mat. The Illumicrate unboxing was fun to watch! Enjoy the treats! 💛
Ahah 😂 thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video 😘
This tag is short and sweet and it's really fun to see what other readers are expecting from their reading lives at the end of the year. I'm curious about Mistborn...i look forward to hearing your thoughts. ✨
I really hope I like it, but I’m also trying to keep my expectations in check 😅😅😅 not easy!
Loving the chill vibes. I'm a bit comforted to hear that you soft dnf:ed How to ADHD, I'm struggling a bit with my Neurovember books, especially my pick for nonfiction. Not sure audio works great for me with it. I'll try something else, but my reading has been pretty slowgoing this month so far overall so I'll see what I can fit in. I did watch the channel though, How to ADHD. I've watched quite a bit of it before, but revisited it now, watched a video about how trying harder is not a solution for people with ADHD (because effort is not the issue...). I also came across a channel called Cinzia DuBois, who is neurodivergent. I haven't watched a lot, but just wanted to mention it in case you want to check it out! :) I always amazes me when I find a pretty big channel that I've never heard about! So much out there ^^
No pressure with Neurovember! I’m sorry you haven’t had the reading month you were hoping for so far, but November isn’t over yet 😊 And it’s supposed to be fun! I need to remind myself of that too actually 😅 Thanks for sharing! I think I used to watch a channel a while back, but didn’t know she was ND at the time. Take care 💛
I love watching a good wrap up!! It's so nice that you could read all of these books, september was a good reading month for me too
Thank you for watching. Hope your November is going well too ^^
I read Strong Female Character earlier this year. It's a good book but a tough read at times. Love the Neuronovember readathon idea. I have discovered it a bit late to take part but I enjoyed hearing your choices.
I finished a few days ago and also thought it was a good book, but indeed quite heavy at times. I listened to it on audio and appreciated how it was humorous too at times. There’s always next year ☺️ thank you for watching!
Your October sounds absolutely delightful!
Thank you
hello friend, I am analyzing your channel, and see that your channel is not monetized. Can you earn from TH-cam? Do you want to earn from your TH-cam channel? If you want to earn then you must get TH-cam monetization.😂😂
Such a cozy vlog 🥰 Thank you for sharing your trip with us 💕
Glad you enjoyed it ^^ Thanks for watching!
It's so nice seeing animals so close by in the open where you are 😍 I also love the thumbnail LOL! I didn't know what to expect but I'm so happy to see all the animals. I hope you feel better now!! That really sucks because the plague* definitely completely throws me out of rhythm for sure. The ramen and potluck look good though 🤤 I think 44k words is a solid amount for the year so far. Writing is a whole progress -- a marathon not a race. You got this 🤩 The Illumicrate reading journal is so COOL! I just have an everything journal and things get dumped into there 🤣 Special editions are amazing!! I'm so jealous!! Not sure what my high would be for October though 🤔 Maybe just my birthday LOL
I'm so grateful to be living close to the horses - it's just a very soothing view and my childhood self is thrilled ^^ Thanks for the support! I think I would have definitely written more if I wasn't so burnt out, but healing is a loooong process too, so given the circumstances, I think I'm not doing too bad on the writing front. I love an everything journal!!! I'm always battling between having specialized journals vs putting everything in one place, I see pros and cons in both ^^' Oooh what did you do to celebrate your birthday?
@@Curious-Cat Always here to be a support! You got this -- can't wait until it's published 🤩 100% will request a signed card to stick into my book hehe I think everything in one place works for me because i can just have 1 notebook everywhere but it does get hard to recall stuff so I use some markers to highlight things. The colors of the marker indicate different things! So quickly flipping through, I can easily pinpoint something I noted down 🥰 I had Ramen. I'm a SUCKER for ramen haha especially now that it's cooling down
@@itsmimiduong Thanks ^^ You'll have to be patient, because it'll likely be be years before it's available (if ever ^^'), but if it does get published, you'll definitely get a signed card *at the very least*! I really like that! I remember seeing someone yeaaars ago making little colored mark on the edge of the page per topic, so that when the notebook is closed and you like at the edge, it's almost like a table of content. I don't how to describe it better than that, but hope it makes sense. I thought it was so clever, I don't know why I've never actually used this trick myself! I looove ramen too 😋💛
美しい景色に癒されます。音楽も好きです。ありがとう〜❤
私のビデオを見てくれてありがとう
Such a cozy video. I'm so jealous of your view with the horses 😍 This reminds me of my childhood home where a lot of my neighbors had horses that I would always go and visit 🥰 I'm sorry the heating isn't working in your house. Hopefully it gets fixed soon!! 💕 I didn't know anything about this with Neil Gaiman... 🤕 I don't know if I'd be able to listen to the podcast due to the heaviness of those triggers Book Haul?! 👀I'm excited to watch this video Illumicrate purchase?! That copy of The Phoenix Keeper is STUNNING! So excited for you! 🥰
Yeah, the view of the horses is a childhood dream come true ^^ I love it so much, I never tire of it! The podcast about Neil Gaiman is quite heavy indeed so don't feel like you have to impose that to yourself... It's definitely not for everyone - mental health first! I'm so excited for me too XD Thanks for the lovely words, support and companionship, as always <3
@@Curious-Cat it really is 🥰 i definitely wouldn't tire of it either. I just love being surrounded by animals. 💕 of course! I love being here and spending time with you through these videos
What a beautiful book/book box!! 😍 I’ve never ordered anything like that before but I’m kinda tempted to do it just once because it looks so fun! I’m glad you had a chill October, and I hope your heating comes back on soon!! That’s terrible timing, why couldn’t that happen in the spring or summer? 😂😬 My October was not what I hoped or expected it to be, as we were away from home due to the hurricane and didn’t get to experience all of the fall things I had planned for… But I guess a high in the midst of all that would be all the extra family time and getting to explore new places! And since we weren’t working, we were able to slow down and just rest and recover a bit ❤️
Yes, that book box was such a treat ^^ I'm glad you're able to see some positives in your month - it must not have been easy for sure, so it's great that there was some silver lining to it!
@ love that!! And yes always trying to see the positives even in hard times ❤️❤️❤️
Firstly, love the horses and the clips of your dog ❤ Secondly, I’m sorry you were sick. I hope you’re feeling better now 💐 Lastly, I hope you love The Phoenix Keeper 🐦🔥 I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it. It’s always lovely to have a pretty edition of a book whose story you also love so I hope my influence ends up being for good 🤞
Yes, I'm better now, even though I'm freezing XD I also really hope I love it! It looks very cozy! Thank you for watching
The cut from Illumicrate unboxing to freezing Cat 😂👌 I hope your hearing is sorted! Out hot water thingy broke down the other week so we’re making do with quick showers. Only had freezing cold water for a few days, because of course it broke down on the night between Allhelgona Sat and Sun. At least your views are stunning, I would love to live in a area like that. Horses aren’t my favorite but those are very cute. And yes it’s a win as long as you keep trying, every little step counts! No rush at all. Thank you for sharing this, it was lovely catching up! And the book is gorgeous too, the hard cover! 😍
We've retreated into the living room with a little electric radiator. We're making due, but it's a pain to have to wait a week for the technician to come, and no guarantee that he'll be able to fix it immediately... But at least we have hot water ^^' Thank you for watching!
@ Yeah I hear you! At least it’s before winter and not in the middle of it, that’s what I keep telling myself ^^ Hope you can get it fixed soon!
I used to be subscribed to illumicrate, but I honestly just found that I never used any of the add ons. But the books are some of my favourite editions! 💕
Yeah, I can see that happening 😅 Also, I’m always a bit reluctant at getting ‘surprise’ books because I can be quite picky so there would be a chance that I’d never pick them up. But the unboxing experience is still very nice 😊 Especially since I had hand picked that one 😇
What was your "High" in October?
Which MAX location was that 😮? Looked so nice! Seems like you had a lovely trip 😍 and with the best weather too.
It’s the one in Medborgarplatsen. It was a lovely trip indeed, we were so lucky with the weather! ☀️
11 books in a month is so great!! Congrats 👏 ❤
Thank you! It was a really good month indeed, I rarely get to that many books (but the graphic novels helped, I’m not gonna lie 😂)
What kind of ceremony were you talking about🤔❓
My friend’s wedding

Glad you liked it 😊 thank you for watching
