C-295: Enhancing Indian Airlift Capability
#c295 #iaf #indianarmy
- The Indian Air Force recently inducted its 1st C-295 light transport aircraft.
- This is part of a 56 aircraft deal for C-295 aircraft to replace the ageing HS-748 aircrafts.
- Of these 56 aircrafts, 14 will be manufactured in Spain while the rest 42 will be made in India.
- In this episode of The Perspective, we analyze how C-295 is not exactly a replacement for HS-748 but adds tremendous capability in the light transport segment where it will complement the An-32 fleet.
- Going ahead, C-295 can become a replacement for An-32 as well as serve as a platform for various other uses like Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) for the Indian Navy and the Indian Coast Guard, Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) and Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) aircraft, Anti-Submarine Warfare aircraft, and AEW&C aircraft.

Excellent, that’s the reason pakis never lost on their eastern border, because of their superior strategic orientation of their forces towards India, while Indian army loses time to mobilise bcz of the vastness of the country, India should also raise more additional strike corps tasked to punch inside Pakistan, but due to the recent developments in Ladakh the entire ball game has shifted towards north-east sector.

I have served in a United Nations peacekeeping mission with the Pakistani Army. Pakistani Army is actually a business company, not an army. The United Nations provides ration to the peacekeepers but the Pakistani Army earns money by selling the ration given by the United Nations to the common people.

The previous 1971 India Vs Pakistan war PAF did not support it's ground military in the West part of Pakistan. Air force require to support it's ground military and the Navy by bombing adversary ground positions , supply routes , etc . The Longiwala India Vs Pakistan war was a massacre of Pakistan Army and armour because the PAF could not support it's ground military because the Longiwala was beyond PAF range. The JF17 is a very good warplane equipped with good targeting pod , radar , missiles, ground strike bombs . I wish the PAF will be able to defend Pakistan against any adversary and learn to fight credibly learning from the failures of the past wars of 1965 and 1971.

@@sobant4795 All Muslim countries military do not have appropriate knowledge of modern warfare, and Pakistan military did not fight appropriately in 1965 or 1971 wars . Most of Muslim countries Air force have inferior quality fighter aircraft, but, the Muslim countries military do not train their Army , Air force or the navy and Air force to fight coordinated . Saudi Arabia which has so sophisticated fighter aircraft could not fight appropriately against the Yemen Houtis . Pakistan Air force has no other options but to acquire the Chinese made fighter aircraft. But the Chinese made fighter aircraft are Russian technology and India has Russian made Su30 , Mig29 . The Indian Air force France manufactured Rafale will be danger for Pakistan. Pakistan military require to train the Army and the air force to fight coordinated, the air force assisting the army in war. Similarly the Pakistan Air force assisting the Pakistan navy in coordinated efforts during war. Pakistan military is still very capable to defend Pakistan despite very limited resources. @@KamrulIslam-dc1zn u r wrong on many points there my friend....... 71 was a total faliure In 65 army performed extremely well UNTIL the political appointment of YAHYA KHAN came in AKHNUR he delayed the advance which let the INDIANS to launch strike on LAHORE which again was defended perfectly and not to mention the FACT that most of the WAR happened on the INDIAN side except for SIALKOT AND CHAMBJODIAN SECTOR....... In 48 PAKISTAN didnt had one inch of KASHMIR and seized 75000 SQ. KM AREA called GILGIT BALTISTAN and 15 percent of the valley including muzaffargadh and bimbhar gali 2 important points.....and not to mention the FACT almost took SIRINAGAR and had CONTROL over JAMMU for several DAYS aswell....and again MOST of the WAR took place in the AREAS that are now PART OF IOK.... So all in all pakistan fought EXTREMELY WELL IN 48 65 WARS....... And now lets TALK ABOUT the AIRFORCE... NO the CHINESE TECH is not based on RUSSIAN TECH.....ITS STOLEN US/WESTERN TECH.... J35 is PRIME EXAMPLE of that....ITS a mix or F35 AND F22 .... Some parts are imported from RUSSIA as it is... CHINESE TODAY are the PIER COMPETITORS of THE US And even ECLIPSING them in many DOMAINS including CYBER and SPACE ...... Now about SYNERGY AMONG SERVICES.... Pakistan ARMY has literally PROGRESSED leaps AND bounds in SYNERGY by OPENING UP CYBER DOMAIN IN AIFORCE HEADQUATERS..... PAKISTAN ARMY Now has SYNERGYamong its SERVICES and Further more with in 5 YEARS PAK ARMY will have the CAPABILITY of DISRUPTING the INDIAN LINES OF COMMUNICATION right from the TOP tier..... PAF is no way INFERIOR to the USAF OR ANY WESTERN airfiorce reason being the FORCE MULTIPLIERS that The PAF employs ...there are only a handful OF AIRFORCES that EMPLOY ELECTRO MAGNETIC WAREFARE capabiities and PAF is one of them....... THE credit for 2019 Strikes In INDIA can just as EASILY be given to THE PAF EWs and AWACS for DISRUPTING SU 30 MIRAGE 2000 RADARS and ALSO JAMMING there DATA LINKS......thats the REASON WHY MIRAGE 2000 THAT has MICA missile couldnt do anything to the F16s despite having more range on them was BECAUSE OF EWs ATTACKS JAMMING their RADAS and DATA LINKS......so ALL in ALL PAF is ABSOLUTELY a MODREN UP TO DATE AIRFORCE in the WORLD that can TAKE ON ANYONE.....PAKISTAN ZINDABAD🇵🇰🇵🇰

@@sobant4795 In 1965 the Pakistan Army and the PAF performed well, but in some circumstances the Pakistan Air force did not support it's ground military in Kashmir when the Indian Air force was attacking Pakistan army positions. If Pakistan military did not attack the sovereign kingdom of Kashmir in the year 1948 , the Kashmir would not have become a battle ground and Kashmir would have been an independent and sovereign kingdom. Pakistan 's claim on Kashmir since 1948 has been illegal and unjustified. If Pakistan withdraw it's claim on Kashmir then Pakistan and India can establish peace. Afghanistan may become a real threat for Pakistan, because the NWFP OF PAKISTAN is claimed by Afghanistan as historically territories of Afghanistan. Pakistan should settle issues in Baluchistan peacefully.

Can we guide S400 missiles via AEWACs so that S400 needn't to switch on its radar thus saving it from anti radiation missiles. And secondly is there any possibility of Russian built S400 targeting french made Rafale in IAF if not how did we manage to integrate them if tboth Russia and france don't share their source codes with each other.
