I agree, armored core 6 is masterpiece level. Its just too much for most ppl to handle. But I mean comes with multiple NG+, secret items, tons of weapons and the customization is crazy. Also most savage gameplay of the year! Should’ve gotten a bunch of awards

For a majority of my childhood, I was not allowed to play much games but I loved drawing mechs and other things alike. I built a pc just after I graduated from high school but didn't play much other than for honor, csgo, and sekiro. Now i'm 20 and in my first year of uni, and during the winter break I got amoured core 6. Let's just say I played that crap out of the game and beat it 2 times before the winter semester even started, then beat it a third time and played a good amount of pvp before my classes got busy. I gotta say, this game did not disappoint the expectations of my younger imagination. It's the game of the year to me!

Y'know, after actually playing Starfield just to see how shit it actually is. I can safely say it's actually less than a reskinned Fallout 4. There's no scrapping weapons for materials, you have to fucking unlock the detection meter for stealth. And one of the companions actually is fucking useless, at least in Fallout the worst they do is just get in your way and go down in combat, but at least they actually do something in combat, in Starfield, the fucking robot companion just punches things in combat, and only sometimes. Oh and the fact that there's areas that are just naturally higher lvl is stupid, did they forget how to make the AI auto balance to your lvl or something?

Baldurs gate 3 was the most boring pile of dogshit i had the misfortune of playing.

Armored Core 6 was great, it was immensely above average, but Baldur's Gate 3 got what it deserved too. Honestly happy enough Armored Core won an award to begin with, it really flew under the radar this year.

I got all the achievements of AC6 within 2 weeks after purchasing. Last time I sat down to really play a game was Neir: Automata

It's kinda disingenuous to compare armored core to boulders gate they are different genres and both achieve their genres excellently however star field is shut ass farts

Honestly I’m just happy AC6 won best action game. Seeing as how this series of games hasn’t had a new game in a while this was probably what From Software was expecting, especially with the line up with the other great games this year

"most interesting scenes", more like most mild. Those games have their own times to pop off and be brilliant, some requiring tons of strategy or creativity involved, and they aren't just mashing buttons filled action like armored core is. The most creative you can be in armored core is dashing through missiles to hit a pile bunker.

Totk should won tbh. It was a unique complete game, which near infinite replay value. Sure baldurs gate was good, but it is still just fable with sex in it.
