Thank you for your videos I caught the biggest sturgeon of my life today with your tuna ball set up I couldn’t find the spin n glows any where so I used the smiley blades. Still can’t catch a salmon but I won’t give up! Thanks again.

On those wooden scaffolds what is that long thick teepee pole used for that sticks out over edge and above water? I see the same setup on almost all these wooden scaffolds.
That's a reach. There is a pully and a rope with a hoop on it and drop it down in the water to catch salmon.

So sad. I went out for an overnight trip excited to fish and didn't know this was only for tribe fishing. I flew my drone around and right in the hole in front of the first platform of three there's a stack of 50 fish. Only place they're really at at this point. No one else downstream has a chance 😂
Yeah, they just shoot up an dont hold much. A crew cane an was following the pit tags and they said they hang out mouth.
My personal opinion) This is what hatchery Spring Chinook do, they are home and have nowhere else to go. From the mouth to the hatchery is a very short distance. As long as the hatchery gets what it needs for production, allowing the tribe to take these excess fish is probably the best way to handle these fish. Aaron is a gentleman and has not brought up the political side in this, but this run of fish would be gone if not for tribal rights. The reality is we should be thankful the tribe exists here, seeing how other rivers have been handled. It is not a perfect solution, but I thank Aaron for openly sharing his adventures with us.
@@aaronwhitefoot I don't know about that. Explored most of the river, but even if they were in the mouth you're not allowed to fish there either.
@@frederickneal55 and I'm not against it, I just learned that it exists. Wish I'd Known before I drove out there but that's on me. I'm not really sure where I can look up the rules and regulations for tribes. But also one of them did want to try to kick me out because I got too close even though I was well outside the 500 ft. Ranger said I was fine

I use to go fishing with my grandfather when I was a kid. He would get drunk until he couldn't walk and let me drive the boat. He was also known to eat minnows for good luck and he smoked marijuana

This gun packs a punch and can reach out there. Even suppressed it still has a kick to it. But over all I love the gun.

So glad we have the tribe fishing here. As long as you keep fishing it the Federal and State governments will keep stocking it. Spring Chinook are #1 as far as value. They're are pretty awesome eating as well. Best wishes guys and good luck harvesting them.
