Awesome footage! We will travel with our doggos next year so keen to hear who you used for dogsitting!
We use Mad Paws pet sitting. Haven’t had a drama with it yet
@@chasinganadventure oh thats good to hear!
👏🏻👏🏻well done 👨🏻🌾👍
Thank you 👍
Great Vid... One Day.....
Hope so!
Awesome spot, we cannot wait to get there one day. Also and most importantly, Paisley does such a good job talking to the camera. She speaks so well. 😊
It’s a great spot!! 😂 Yes, she loves to talk..never stops!
Absolutely one of (if not the most) favourite spot in Australia! Great video
Couldn't agree more! It’s awesome just have to convince Mel to stay 😂
I’m with Tristan, I want to live in Exmouth too (and Broome) 😂😂
If you can convince Mel we will save you a spot to stay any time you like 😂.. the west coast is truly beautiful.
Hi, firstly we love your videos you have inspired us to travel for a year next year from Tasmania. We were wondering where is your awning mat from, we have been looking for a good quality mat. Thanks
Hey Guys, thank you so much !! It’s so cool to know we have inspired someone to take the leap and set off around Australia ! We got our mat from recycled mats they are fantastic 😊
One thing you may have missed is the turtle beach in Port Hedland itself. There's also the art gallery and a couple of other local things
Bugger we didn’t know about turtle beach ! We try to check out all information centres to get some local spots to visit.
At last somebody who tells the truth about the West Coast, some great spots but a long way between highlights. Hard to book and over crowed. Loving your honest videos keep up the great work.
Hi Peter. We are loving WA! It truely is its own world over here but yes lots of kms between towns! Definitely hard to get bookings here too.
Hi all. Paislee, I cry when I watch animal movies too. I’m the biggest sooky baby ever! Tristan, crying and collecting shells…it’s nice to see you’ve connected to your feminine side 😂…and man enough to admit it! 😀 The map/patches, etc. is a great idea, I might have to steal that idea. Happy travels. ❤Zeljka
It’s a sad movie !! 😂… make sure you send us a pic of the patches you do 😊
From Exmouth down there is a lot more and probably the best is the southwest and east to Esperance. Give yourselves time down the southwest there is a lot to see and do. You won't be disappointed.
We got a taste of Exmouth recently and it doesn’t disappoint !! We have got a lot of time from Exmouth down to really get amongst it we are so excited 😊…. Thanks Zoe
if you dont like wa go back to east coast and dont return to wa
You obviously missed the point 👍
@@chasinganadventure i didnt miss the point alot of eastcoasters think wa is like the eastcoast thinking evertything is close together but it isnt
@@brettsells4397Wow man, don’t take things so seriously! It’s one person’s opinion/experience. It’s still the same country! Sorry, and I’m only assuming here, but you must have a boring life to find time to be offended by something not that important. Stay cool, be happy and chill out! ✌️
Invest in a tyer repair kit guys, plenty of TH-cam videos on how to use them & best investment to add to your recovery kit.
Hi Michelle, yeah we have a tyre repair kit. It was in a spot that we weren’t sure if it could be repaired, as it’s was only leaking very slowly we left it to the pro’s so we didn’t ruin a $450 tyre 😂
I often wonder why people travel up/ down the west coast of WA as the highway is quite a way inland from any coast line pretty much from Broome all the way down to Perth. We always take the inland route as it is so much more interesting! We are West Australians 😉
We completely agree we are inland now and the scenery and landscapes are so much better !! We do still much prefer the open road of WA compared to the roads on the east coast. You guys have it pretty good here 😊
Hey guys, hope you’re loving WA. Just wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing the brand of your outside clotheslines attached to your awning arms. They look great. Thanks 😊
They are Ezy Anchor! Best thing we bought!
That’s so awesome guys, love it!🙌🏾
Thanks guys, hope you’re enjoying the Gibb as well 👍
@@chasinganadventure it’s been so awesome! We’ve only just left McGowan and it’s only been 11 days. 20L Jerry cans were $75 at Kalumuru! 😬 and we’re limited to 1 Jerry power person as they were running out of fuel
Awesome ! Gee I hope you can get enough fuel to get out of there ⛽️
Love the video Hate to break the news, but dinosaurs are real. Smarter ppl than us admit that Keep em coming
You’re a right 🤣…. Bloody dinosaurs hahaha
We have done route 66 in the states. I agree the flinders does remind us of the states. More the Nevada and Mojave desert areas We also thought the southern end of the Birdsville track reminded us of the states
That’s good to know, I (Tristan) pictured what you said it would look like so that is really cool !
Wow, your conversation and confusion about dinosaurs had my head spinning!😮😂 Im sure in the future when I hear the words soft cement and dinosaurs, I’ll remember you guys!😂😂 Hi Paisley👋 . Great video guys! ❤Zeljka
Our heads were spinning as well hahaha…. Paislee says hi back 👋
Correct I think dinosaurs never existed and they were actually Dragons, as represented in most ancient cultures, Chinese zodiac dragon, etc. For some reason the powers that be hide this. The replica ‘dinosaur’ foot prints on that concrete slab look just like a large chicken / turkey / bird, which is most likely what ‘real dinosaur prints’ are most of the time, just megafauna or large extinct bird species. Another thing that awoke me to this dino thing was doing the outback dinosaur trail, and first hand seeing all the ‘fossils’ and ‘bones’, and all the people in lab coats with bright lights and shiny tools and grinders, hacking into these bones, the strange thing is that they were all just volunteers who were interested in dinosaurs, and the lady doing the tour even said ‘oh the best part is when your child turns 12 they can come and work on these dinosaur bones!’ Strange that all the people that work on grinding into these supposed million year dinosaur bones with tools and drills and grinders aren’t Palaeontologists and dinosaur experts and scientists, just volunteers who are interested and kids can do it to… makes you think 🤔 also loads of animals have the word dragon in their name but nothing is called a dinosaur 😊
Also if crocodiles ‘were around with the dinosaurs’, why didn’t they go extinct but every single other ‘dinosaur’ did when the ‘asteroid’ hit and wiped ‘everything’ out 😅
Mel is very sceptical, you have some great points !! The dinosaur trail is something we are keen to check out, we agree how did crocodiles survive but nothing else. Very strange!
Yes I agree there is no place like Broome. I go every year, and each time I never want to leave. Desperately want to live there 😊😊
It’s truely is the best isn’t it !
So I'm a dinosaur then 😠
Gan thee um Point …….. the real dinosaur prints are actually only seen at very low tide . Absolutely magnificent sunsets all the way down our West Australian coastline .
Thanks for that at least we won’t pronounce it wrong next time lol… We are a sucker for a WA sunset now !
Move to broom so much better than QLD😀😀
You are 100 percent correct, can you convince Mel to stay please lol
@@chasinganadventure please Mel say yes to your awesome husband he is correct this 1 time🤣🤣🤣
What’s a crocodile if not a dinosaur 🤦🏻♂️😂 Safe travels 👨🏻🌾👍
Mel didn’t have much sleep the night before 😂… A pretty cool place though !
Reckon that fish might have been a sausage cod
Get outta ere you hahaha
❤
❤️
Broome is so amazing, I love it there. Also I know your stay was cut short but how epic is the Dampier Penninsula!! I hope you managed to take a look at James Price Point. 😊
We absolutely loved the Dampier even though we had boat troubles you just roll with the punches. It was definitely a great place to visit 😊
Gday guys, haven’t seen this vid yet but just wanna say before I hit the fart sack still luvin what you guys are putting out there, I hope you still enjoy our lovely state cause I’m born and raised WA and very jealous that you are about to see more than what I have.
We are absolutely loving WA !! So happy we are finally here 👍
Your camel didn’t smell 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now that I have seen the written down it could mean so many things 😂😂😂😂😂
Noice... not as detailed as 1st moth but noice... - One Day.
One day!
Hi mate what make is your boat loader I have one very similar but your loading legs look heaps shorter when packed away on your roof rack… enjoying your videos … cheers Darren
Hi Darren, It’s a rhino rack side boat loader 👍
So glad you had a great Gibb experience. How amazing is Tunnel Creek, such a unique adventure, I loved it too. Paisley you are such and incredible adventurer and a great little TH-camr as well 😊
Thanks so much! The Gibb is going to be one of our all time favourite parts, Paislee is a thrill seeker and half. She loves being behind the camera as well, she is going be a very confident girl !
Did you end up going to Winjana gorge?
Unfortunately we didn’t, we under estimated how much fuel we would use on the last leg. So missed out this time around 😞
Yay, you pronounced my name correctly!🙌 Wow, Tunnel creek is stunning! Paisley, you’re such a brave girl, I was a little scared just watching you and your dad! 😱😧 Paisley, great camera work and commentary too. Thanks for sharing your GRR experience guys. I follow other travel channels and they’re great, but you give so much more detail, which has been a lot more helpful to me. Hope you all have a great week. ❤Zeljka
Glad we pronounced it right 😂 She is a very brave girl and is a bit of thrill seeker as well. We are so glad we can help and hopefully some of our information can help with your lap when you get going 😊
Good wrap up guys. Looks like u all had an adventure. Good idea to take the tube thru tunnel creek 👌
Thanks 👍 We loved every minute of it, the tube was the only way to convince Paislee to do tunnel creek 😂
I would say your bad fuel was mostly diesel.. not bad just more diesel than petrol .. coming from a mechanic
Diesel in Petrol ?? We think the fuel was stale, when we purchased the fuel in El Questro it come from the workshop. Who knows how long the fuel was sitting for, I did smell the residue in the Jerry can after we realised what had happened. Couldn’t distinguish and other smells in the fuel
Okay but have seen what happens with mixed fuels 👍
Thanks for the heads up, we are just glad it wasn’t anything worse which required us to be towed out 😊
is cable beach still partly a nudist beach
It certainly is !! 🫣
Jones Bridge is a beautiful place, but I am a little biased it’s less than 10km from home! Snowy Valley has some magical places located in it.
It definitely was a beautiful part of the world ❤️
yeah yeah have u caught a Barra yet?
Barra aren’t real 😂
@@chasinganadventure 😅🤣😂true
Love watching your videos, how is the y62 going? We are travelling Australia next year for 12 months and not sure if we should upgrade from a rager to a patrol!
Thanks for watching, we are glad you enjoy them. We LOVE our Y62 and would never change, we owned a Ranger before the Patrol and it was the best decision we made changing cars. Power, Space and comfort 😊
@@chasinganadventureI couldn’t agree more. I went from a 2017 Hilux to a 2023 TI-L and the comfort, space and confidence you have in its ability when you need to overtake is worth every cent. It sticks to the road and pulls up superbly. Wouldn’t chance a thing. Lovin your content.
Great episode, and it was good to see a quick look back on some of your travels again. Broome, The Gibb, and Uluru for me 😊 Will be fun to hear the updated list in another 6 months.
Thanks Robyn, it’s hard to believe we have been travelling for 6 months already. Just secretly though we have loved every minute 😂
Great video, thank you. Do you have or can you make a video about free camping as you've found it on your travels? Cheers. Safe travels :)
Great suggestion! I think we could come up with something, leave it with us. We do have something special coming out in the next week or so 😊
Fuel Doctor is the business, works on both petrol and Diesel engines. I run in my X5 as a conditioner after the initial fuel shock instructions. Magic in breaking down water, 1ml per litre of fuel. Cheers
Fuel Docta is a great product ! I know it very well, just hard to get it after the fact. 👍
Hey guys, really enjoy watching your adventures. If I don’t see “the girl” on a forthcoming episode of Getaways or the like I’ll eat my words, she definitely has the personality and the cheekiness 😊. Keep on travelling xxxx
Thank you so much Sharon, we just read that out to her and it made her day. She said she loves when people say that to me 😂
Hey guys, Where did you guys stay in Darwin?
We stayed at the Free Spirit caravan park at Palmerston 😊
Hi guys. I’ve been following your channel for about a month now and really enjoying your videos. Your daughter is such a sweet, intelligent and confident girl, and I love when she gives her opinions too…so cute! Q. How safe would it be for a solo female traveler on the Gibb? Q. If I were to break down and couldn’t fix the car on the most remote part of the Gibb…who would I call/how do I get help? The next few questions aren’t specifically for the Gibb, but any info would be appreciated. Q. What would be the minimum upgrades for a vehicle travelling the Gibb/Australia not pulling a caravan and would it be a waste of money installing an extra fuel tank? (I’m unsure whether I should buy a y62). Q. The y62 uses 98 fuel..What and how often do you use other fuel and how often do you use octane booster, what’s your process? Some have said using different fuels is bad for the car! Thanks for sharing your adventures. Hope you all have a great week. ❤Zeljka
Hi Zelijka ! Paislee loves giving her two cents worth that’s for sure lol The Gibb I our opinion is perfectly safe for someone travelling solo, most places always had someone else staying there. We have full road side assistance with RACQ so if we break down we can be recovered. Depending on your vehicle it’s always good to have a decent set of tyres. We haven’t used octane booster up until we hade fuel issues, we haven’t used it again but deposing on your vehicle it would be a good idea to seek some advice from the manufacture of your vehicle for fuel types 😊
@@chasinganadventure Hi, thanks for replying. The car I’m talking about is the y62, which I want to buy, but so undecided. I’m sure I’ll work it out! Cheers ❤️😀
You can’t go wrong with a Y62 we love ours 😊
The debate question or maybe no debate. thongs v crocs v rock shoes do you need 1,2 or all 3 😂
It’s funny you say that we all have a pair of each 😂😂😂
You should have a fuel separator on your car and a catch can. Outback fuel is crap bad fuel destroyed my 79 series Toyota. The total cost was $30,000. I learnt my lesson the hard way.
I (Tristan) completely agree with the separator and catch can on any modern day common rail vehicle we fitted them day in day out at our old 4x4 business. It’s a little bit different on Petrol cars with a fuel/water separator unfortunately.
How many klms do you usually get out of a tank? We just bought our patrol and plan on doing our lap next year!!!!
Circumstances always change but I have just changed our driving style and I’m thinking we are good for about 550kms give or take per tank 👍
