2018 Trackhawk, was a recovered theft, Shop put in new dash harness/ and new dash and radio, shop coulding communicate with anything on the Can C network, traced it down to the new dash harness being pinned wrong.

Using Topix cloud to program a RCM module or airbag module on a 2022 Range Rover Sport. 100 amp Power supple used to maintain voltage, and Da-Dongle DoIP used as the interface to program. New restraint control module was installed in a 2017 ford f350. Used forscan and as built data to program/set it up. It showed an error code in the video, but it went thru and everything was configured correctly! Questions or comments feel free to leave them!

2020 Jaguar F-pace SVR, was diagnosed with a bad PAM (park assist module) Was in a front end hit and customer drove it around to long, and shorted the module out. @@mitchell_9709 I have no idea how you would program it with tech line connect, cause it pulls your build data from gms servers, you’d have to somehow update the vehicle configuration to pull the correct files to program the digital speedo

I am having trouble getting the diagnostics tab to show, Jaguar tells me to get the diagnostics tab to show I have to pay for independent module programming which for me is £72 for 1 hour, is this correct?

Hey there, I have a 2019 F350, 6.7. I believe it was a flood truck, and I purchased it, not knowing. We believe the RCM is fried, I lost a lot of communication with other modules, and all issues persist when RCM is unplugged. I have a matching, used RCM. Do i simply follow these steps? Or would it require me to adjust the VIN as well? I would like to do this without the dealerships' help if possible.

Another question, my symptoms include a complete loss of the front controls interface module, issues with the BECMB, and several messages including service advance trac, Hill control descent, etc. Could the RCM be the sole culprit do you think? Or should I be replacing multiple parts to be sure I do not fry another RCM?
@@austinwilliams7829 well if u have a bunch of communication codes, and a module is bad it could be knocking other modules offline, and or causing issues.
@@austinwilliams7829 Did you figure it out? I know on 2016 explorers the RCM will throw abs/traction lights also. Have 2 that fried RCM while jump starting dead batteries
Not yet. Insurance is taking over. Two dealers won't even touch it, but I finally found a Ford that would. They are pushing insurance to total the truck. That is interesting, though! This run of problems started with a parasitic draw, I was jump starting it regularly with a NOCO

Hi there, hope you are well, I saw your comment under a Volvo vx60 video . I have a Volvo XC60 2023 that had a minor accident the curtain airbag went off ,It was in bodyshop for few weeks to get the cosmetic damage sorted. the car wouldn't start since yesterday after putting 3 battery jumpers on it finally started but there was a fault code for 12v charging system fault and I can see the battery was not charging itself ( alternator not charging the battery ) you commented you changed the relay / charging switch between the auxiliary battery and battery in the boot , do you have more info on this part please or can describe what it looks like please ? many thanks the car is only 1 year old so I don't think the battery is completely dead and unable to hold a charge ?
So idk if the 2023 xc60 is the same as the car I would on. But it’ll be on the battery in the engine bay. It’ll basically look like little module, with battery connections on it. If you pull the cover off the battery in the engine back you’ll see like this module thing attached to the positive terminal. And you can start the car and see if you have 14volts at it. Cause when I diagnosed the Volvo I did it had no charging voltage at it. If you send me the vin I can pull up info in Vida.

No idea. You need a device capable of deleting crash data.
When I launch DDA it gets stuck at Downloading Diagnostic data with a red X, any help?
Make sure Java is up to date, make sure you have good internet, and make sure topix cloud isn’t having issues

Could be, if you’re using WiFi could be an issue, also make sure your java is updated

Copy the coding data from the old module, and if it’s a used module it may not work

Hi! Do you know if variant coding allows to disable the startup/shutdown sound on the Kia Niro EV 2020 by any chance? Talking about this sound: th-cam.com/video/GZr7kwiqI7M/w-d-xo.html I found something in the engineering menu, "sound" section: "welcoming": "enabled" so I assume there is a way do control it via software. No user option to turn it off unfortunately
I do not know. You would need to look at the coding options in the bcm to see if you could disable it.
I have a ranger that was in a collision and I’m getting a code for for RCM crash data stored and locked will changing the rcm and programming it clear this code?

Should be yes as you’re using oem software. But pathfinder is now topix cloud.
hi, I need to program the TCCM of a 2001 Land Rover Discovery 2, can I do it with j2534 by purchasing the subscription or is it only available for vehicles from 2005 onwards?
I believe you could use Jlrs older software, either SDD or I think at one point they used IDS
Can you do feature additions on vehicles, such as approach unlocking and stop start memory via this?
I don’t know as only really program new modules. I believe you can add some stuff. But not 100 percent sure.
Just purchased DA-DoIP. Diagnostic Device Agent detects DA-DoIP, pull vin and all the data then show vin and ask if I want connected. After press yes it transfer to TOPIx and this is where the problem starts. TOPIx can not detect any modules. In diagnostic tab it shows " there was a problem getting the vehicle Data. Please run network Integrity test to resolve it" Did you or anybody have this issue recently or before?
Run the network integrity test, it should pull up the cars/modules.
Play Follow all steps the diagnostic associates require. I forgot to mention nothing installed on PC except jlr. Either I miss something or my device the effect of or Topix has recent changes
@@andriykostenko5655 I’ve used my Device numerous times. Never had an issue. Unplug the device and laptop from car. Shut car off. Connect da device to car and wait for lights to light up, then connect da device to laptop, then reopen dda agent and try connection again.
@@andriykostenko5655 reach out to diagnostic associates they are very helpful and will help you. I’ve never had a problem with my device, and works every time I need it. I know one guy on this video had trouble connecting and it was something with his laptop/way the software installed.

This was a new part from Kia in the video. Literally if you have old part, pull the coding, and then swap in new part and code like shown in the video.

The autel is pretty good. But nothing beats oem tooling. But if you’re just starting out, it’ll be a solid tool!

I don’t know much of anything about variant coding, but I might have access to this same Autel tool through a friend. I have a 2019 Kia Sorento that uses sensor fusion for SCC, but I want it to use radar only. If I were to variant code it as such, is it likely to work it does it depend per car?
I don’t know the answer to that. It may work? Or it may not. I’d take a screenshot of the original and then try and edit it and see. Sometimes the module won’t accept the coding change.
Buddy...i have it connected normally to a Jaguar F-Pace, it shows as "ready" and everything But the "diagnostic "tab is nowhere to be found Is it related to the "programming subscription"? Any idea?
Yes you need to buy a programming subscription.

You may be able to through variant coding. You’d have to try it. Also I don’t know if it would trigger codes in other systems.
I just purchased that from diagnostic associates and cannot get it to recognize the device. Care to help? Process gets stuck and device detection when trying to open dda.
So make sure drivers are up to date, and make sure firmware is. Also make sure your pc only has the jlr dad software. Cause one of my Laptops with other software wouldn’t allow the dda to open/find the diagnostic associates device. Then follow diagnostic associates connection method listed on the page, I think it’s plug device into car, wait till the lights come on and flash, then plug into laptop and try and connect. Works every time for me.

New comment notifications generally come in the form of a notification for the TH-cam app. If you have your notifications disabled by fall, you will not get them so it may be a setting. You have to adjust on your PC.

Hi, I am driving a 2017 ford fiesta. Airbag blow after accident. I replaced all the airbags and seatbelts, and clear the Airbag module. but the airbags light is on and I have these 2 codes that come back right away. B00A:68 and B00A:68-8B (Occupant classification system). please need help.
What do those codes say when you look them up?

Can an SCC module be installed in a car (forte 2019 EX) that didn't ship with SCC ?? I'm trying to install open pilot on my gfs forte 19 but it didn't come with the SCC and open pilot requires the SCC to be present Any help would be appreciated Thank you
Idk, if the wiring is there. Then in theory you should be able to code the option, but I can’t say for certain.

@@Dan-yt7oe are you pulling the as built data from the motorcraft website? Also when you enter it. Clear the codes. And see if it’s a glitch in the software. Also make sure the device you’re using has updated firmware. And you’re using the latest version of for scan.

Independent operator, the authorized repairer is for dealer techs I believe

@@abood3lamri yes it’s like 180 for a 1 day subscription. But you’d be able to program whatever car you needed to. Also make sure you select the correct brand. You can get module programming for Jaguar, or Range Rover.

Topix cloud? Supports from like 2017/2018 and up I believe.

Hi ! I am driving a Ford Explorer 2013. The driver's seat airbag and the curtain airbag have gone out and the warning light is on. I scanned it with forscan and found U0151 Lost Communication Whit Restraints Control Module error. In this case, is it necessary to replace/reset the airbag module? Is it possible to remove the error using forscan? Please help.
You need to diagnose the U0151. Go thru the diagnostic steps for that code.

You dont need any driver to install ?
You install the driver for your device you’re using. So if it’s the Bosch interface you would download those off jlrs website, if it’s the da-dongle from diagnostic associates you would use there driver.

@@abood3lamri I do not. The diagnostic associates da dongle was cheap enough, I just bought it. If you have it try it and see if it works.

@yasiryasir4933 yes Yasir I try it and it's not working, maybe they working in new driver update will work in future, but those day only the official JLR bocsh diagnostic tool working and it's very expensive for normal people.
I am trying to code a 2020 Kia Niro and keep getting a code for Multi-Function camera - variant coding error. Where can I find the correct variant coding?

I keep getting a "variant coding" and "Multi-function camera" on my ODBII and dashboard lights to check HDA and SCC. I tried calibrating the front camera but the code still persisted. I tried to input the variant codes values but I believe I am entering the wrong variant codes
The camera code cleared after calibration, however the variant code is still there.
I bought a used module from another similar f150. How do you change the vin to yours in the new module?
Why would you want to change it to my vin? Or are you asking how to change the vin in the used module to your vin?

@@vvaskevich that should be possible. I believe if you go under programming and as built configuration rcm you should be able to change the vin. But you also need to make sure the as built data in the module Matches what your truck had.
As built data on the website has less fields than what my RCM module shows. Wonder what I should be doing with the extra fields? Anyone had this issue?

Hello, good day. I have ford flex 2014. Airbag light is on after accident. B1193 code comes in DTC. Also cruise control is not working. Horn, and other buttons on the steering wheel are perfectly working. My question is. If i replace the clock spring only, The Cruise control will be functional? The airbag light will turn off? Please reply. As i am short of funds now, later i will change the SRS module. But now i need the cruise control to be functional. Thanks & best regards.
You can try and clear the crash data with forscan. Don’t reset set it, but there’s an option to reset crash data. And have you scanned the cruise control so see what it says? If all the buttons work than there may be another problem or maybe because the airbag light is on it’s disabling the cruise? Either way I would try and get forscan and try and reset the crash flag, and then go after the cruise Control.

Can we do it on damaged airbag without installing new air bag module?
I’m not sure what you’re asking? Can you replace the airbag module and program it without installing new airbags? If so yes, I’ve programmed airbag modules while waiting on parts. But if you have an error code for locked and full crash memory you will need to reset it with iprog, carprog, upa, ultraprog or any tool that will clear crash data.
Can we use FORScan to clear crash data?
Not that I know of. You would need to use a tool like iprog, ultraprog, upa, carprotool or obdstar p50

You can go to motorcradts website, enter your vin and pull all the as built data/codes you need.
