@@JWALK151 weird, it freezes in the menu or when trying to play songs? I didn't have any problems about drums on emulator

@@JWALK151 I even remember using dualshock as drums on my ps2 and it worked just fine

@@filipindumods i burned to dvd and play with wired guitars no problems but when i plug in drums via usb and choose a song it freezes on loading screen…. But on your tbrb it plays no problems even with drums

@@mazda9624 yeah... this and gdrb are the closest thing we could get from the original, same characters same venues, but like you said, without different camera angles. Probably if it was ported to ps2 officially it would use wii graphics or even worst since they did the videos more closed to the ps2 graphics in rb1 and rb2

@filipindumods I think a port would have most likely used Xbox 360 footage since they really had no reason to use the lower quality models from Wii. Kind of like how RB2 for PS2 used Xbox 360 backgrounds even though the Wii version used 3D models.

@@SerratBravo-l8o no no... at least for what I know and I only mod harmonix games not the neversoft ones What you can do is grab gh3 videos and put in ps2rb

@@filipindumods so what? If I wanted PS2 graphics I’d play on the Wii. It’s cool that it’s ported but it’s impractical. As for GH2 and RB deluxe mods, those enhance the game in ways beyond what the ps2 was originally capable. Beatles on PS2 doesn’t change or add anything.

@@darknid158 Well, I understand you, but idk, there are more things that make this port a thing, also a sentimental thing with the ps2 and trust me, there are more people with this feeling You know, there are people porting gta 3 to dreamcast, a member in my server that did rock band 3 on ps2 and all of those projects would be useless if we don't have an affinity with the console and a desire behind, I could also say about people that just don't have other consoles to play (another reason why this port exists, I live in brazil) but I have a 360 and I played tbrb so... not much to say about I also love to mod harmonix games and this is only possible with the ps2 for me since my 360 is not RGH Anyway, that's why I said in the first comment, why not? That's the only way to explain this. I have a 360, I have the plastic guitar, I have the game but I also would like to have something similar on ps2 just for fun, thanks for the comments and sorry for anything

@@Panda_1999-t3d It's possible to make the game supports mic and dualshock at the same time, but the thing is I did the charts in this game with a method that removed completely all the vocals chart, so if you try to play vocals it will crash, I still need to remake the entire iso but I'm not having much time for now...

@@Panda_1999-t3d there is a way I could fix the game fast but I would need some python scripts for mid, I will try something in this weekend... this will help me a lot to not remake the entire game, just fix the mids and add the support for dualshock and mic at the same time

I never think somone porting this to ps2 and adding dualshock support for someone who doesn't have a guitar controller ( me included. i'm just playing GH and RB with keyboard on emulator right now) . that's awesome 👍. ( sorry my english is bad not my main language)

I agree! Also, FilbertTheVyonderBoy2K4, KyansWorldCartoon Intro Maker, KyansWorldCartoon (aka Kyan Younger) and Larsson Younger all have told me that this game (Guitar Hero 2) ended up getting its stuff reused for Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s here, you know

yeah now you need to go to this github here: github.com/C0Assassin/rb4-to-rb2 download the songs you want and use OnyxToolkit or Nautilus to convert to a CH chart

Tenho um tutorial completo no meu discord, mas basicamente para fazer uma iso assim seria misturar um pouco de gh2 hacking e essa parte dos vídeos do rock band.

In my discord server a member did rock band 3 port to ps2, with the tutorials I putted there, for now I'm not having much time for a new project like this.

Actually you can't since the game will only recognizes your dualshock2 as guitar/bass not as microphone more. Also, even if you have a not dualshock 2 version, the way I did the mid files to work on ps2 removed completely the vocals chart. I already discovered how to fix that but I would need to remake the entire game (and that's a thing that I'm going to do sometime)
