More vsts need a preset randomiser (not a settings randomiser). This is why o prefer working with Dexed rhan FM8. FM8 is way more powerful but you can scroll through the best DX7 sounds in under an hour.
The first time I tried Omnisphere, I didn't get any music recorded for 2 months. I was stuck listening to all the amazing sounds!
Vangelis: Spiral, Pulstar, Heaven and Hell, Odes, L'Apocalypse des Animaux, and much more.... Jean Michel Jarre: Oxygene, Equinoxe, Les Chantes Magnetiques, etc Space Disco, Italo-Disco, SynthPop, etc genres 😁
OB-X? Like this OB-X used here? th-cam.com/video/SwYN7mTi6HM/w-d-xo.html 😁
I think its pushing yourself beyond the periphery of your skills and knowledge for fun.
Same but with guitar effects.
it's so hard to nail down! i think that creativity is kind of like stepping outside of your own understanding of yourself. once that happens, you lose the ability to second guess yourself, and the walls of logic disappear too - your intuition is truly free to guide the way without restraint or limitation
Rushing to get to a finished product instead of enjoying the creative aspects and joy of creating art.
Thank you for sharing! While it is good to take your time with the creative process, also take a moment to recognize that your biggest challenge also means you’re in the habit of finishing your songs. That’s an achievement, my friend! All you need to do is slow down and enjoy the process more. I would recommend maybe trying to collaborate with someone who has the opposite problem, and struggles with finishing a project instead of getting lost in the creative side.
So true! And such a cool sound you are using! 🤩🤘🏼🔥
Aww Thanks so much!
Man, I wish I could understand... music
It’s 100% doable if you apply yourself! 😉
mmmm
I hate playing in ensemble because my schools music teacher doesn't let me do anything. She let's me play simple chords with 0 bass note. I hate it, I don't know much about playing but all I know is that I love the dark notes, and have a wide range when playing, like a high chord with a low bass. I dont want to go to that music group anymore but my mom doesn't want me going anywhere else
💯
💜🙏🏼 Thank you for posting this.
You are so welcome
Cool 😎 is the cab 8 or 4!ohm? If it’s 8 ohm I’ll probs get the 800 watt
Hey! It’s an Ampeg PF-115HE 1x15-inch 450-watt Portaflex Bass Cabinet with Horn, and yes, it’s an 8ohm 😁👍🏼
@ ok cool thank for replying 🤘
I've always preferred dissonant sounds and minor chords. Major chords always reminds me of baby lullaby music and being stuck in a crib.
I completely agree!! 💯
I got get me one then I will drop you some music 🎶 tips I been programing gear for beats for years/ Jamie parks studio
Awesome!! Can’t wait to hear it!!
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
needed to hear this, thank you!!
You're so welcome! I’m so happy I could be encouraging for you 😊
I find just sitting down and starting works, very spur of the moment and get led by how I feel or what I want to hear at that moment. All electronic and in a DAW, so YMMV but that's how I am. Anything more planned feels too forced to be creative.
You have to go with what feels right and organic for you. It’s also so important to be able to define what your mode of operation should look like! 👍🏼
Where is your doggy I love you and your doggy
I don’t have one lol, but thanks for asking
🤘🏼😁 Right on!
Oh yeah!
Hi Teach! funny how that note combo adds up to the background for “Walking in Memphis”!
It does! Thanks for catching that! 😆
Funny. At first I was like, "ugh!" same as you, and then quickly realized that with a bunch of adapters I can also plug things up to my phone, and now I'm like, "hella win!"
Super cool!
bacbbaecccee
Love it!
Get a high speed USB C Hub, with USB A ports and you can keep using your regular USB devices
No, you need a $5 adapter.
I think usb-c is definitely starting to take over
Ubb c to usb hub
I get that apple wants their computers to be thin but I personally feel like they should have 2 USB-A ports or atleast 1 (which would probably look weird)
You can buy a hub that will host all those usba cables with a single usbc plug in
That's actually the exact reason why I bought a lenovo legion... Lots of USB A But the good news about usb-c is the splitters work a lot better than they used to on USB a so you can still get a lot of usba on a splitter in the USBC
you just need a usb hub or a usb-c adapter and still use your old cables.
Adapters will probably be cheaper than new cables.
Actually, there are usb-a to usb-c adapters that plug onto the end of ur old cables and that should fix ur problem
You want c to a

Practice makes permanent, not perfect!
I love that!
It is truly wonderful that you have made this wonderful video. Your knowledge of songwriting will be helpful. ❤❤❤
So glad I could be of help! Happy writing, friend! 🎶

Thank you so much!
Literally beautiful.
Aww thank you! ☺️
I own 4 of these for over a year now. Don't buy them the LEDs burn out and change color.
Thanks for the warning 😬
That square didn't sound very square!
😆 Lol maybe not… I’ll be sure to file a complaint with Ableton for ya 😎👍🏼
The first instrument I owned, in third grade, was a Zen-on soprano recorder -- the standard-issue ones from music classes in the early 1980s. My teacher was a wonderfully authentic grown-up hippie folk musician. Her classroom was stocked with the whole array of Orff Schulwerk instruments, like xylophones and marimbas and zithers and bongos, which I also loved playing, from first grade onwards. I realize in retrospect how lucky my classmates and I were. We got to grow up in a public school system that believed it was just as important to give us the gift of music alongside reading, arithmetic, history, and the other academic subjects. Lucky, too, that they were able to recruit such a talented and inspiring teacher. As you say, you never forget -- and I never forgot the basic fingerings from that recorder. So when an acquaintence dared me to try out her bagpipes, I was immediately able to play a couple of simple tunes despite never having held the pipes or a chanter before. Good times for us all, and a memorable bucket-list item crossed off for me -- and entirely thanks to becoming friends with that simple instrument in my childhood.
I thought it was fantastic when i was growing up, but having recently got the Arturia Prophet i can see how limited and flat it sounds now.
Hoping you get more subs, must be hard starting a channel in this space so long into TH-cam's history. Enjoy the content, regards from the UK.
