Ive been attending Catholic church for about 8 months or so now (i left the Anglican Church) and im getting confirmed January coming. I started praying the Rosary last month and i do struggle saying the prayers whilst contemplating the mysteries at the same time , i keep losing focus on one or the other. I suppose with practice and patience it will get easier for me. Thankyou for the advice sisters , peace of our lord be with you all.

Remember ✝️ God created us to grow in faith, holiness, and love for Him. If your not doing that daily why not?

I highly recommend searching TH-cam for Together Let Us Pray channel daily rosary with scriptural readings. They recite a sentence or two before each Hail Mary which ties into the mystery and it really works to focus your attention on that mystery. And even adding this additional verbiage the rosary still falls under 22 minutes.

I started saying the Rosary for a different group each night. On Tuesdays for instance I lift up all the people in my life who are sick and on Fridays, all those who have died. I ask Mary to pray for each and every one. I say one decade for my family, another for friends and priests . I also pray for special situations and our sinful world. I say the person’s name before each Ave, sometimes, I read the list of names first and then try to meditate on the Mystery, I didn’t say the Rosary much in earlier years, I found it a bit boring to be truthful, but about about 15 years ago, when I was undergoing cancer treatment, I started saying it. It helped me greatly and I promised God that I would continue saying it daily, which I have managed to do. Now it is part of my life.
