Dearest Sisters, I am deeply grateful that though in hermitage, you both share such blessed insights with us here. Seeking to be in a state of grace is a freedom unlike anything I could imagine as liberating. You spoke about the Sacrament of Reconciliation so beautifully. How often would be considered going to confession "often?" ❤
We seek to go once every week or every other week. One should go at least once a month. I heard a religious brother talking to children, and he asked them, "How many of you take a bath or a shower once a month?" No one raised their hands, and their faces cringed at the thought. He said , "Why do people wait so long to cleanse their souls, but often clean their bodies? Our sins make us dirty before God. We need to wash our souls once a week, if possible." I thought it was an interesting point he made.
@@missionariesOME33 Thank you, Sisters. I appreciate your confirmation. And that religious brother also used a great and relatable analogy!😅
After Vatican two it was taught that only mortal sins needed to be confessed !Truth is we know we meet Jesus in the Sacraments ! If we were properly taught the church would be more alive than used as a social meeting place!when we go to confession we receive three graces.Sanctifying ,Actual and Sacramental! These are helps for us !sheila anne
Many have not been taught properly about the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We do know of a good number of Priests who strongly suggest to go to Confession even if you don't have mortal sin on your soul. Many venial sins could lead to mortal if continued without confession. The Sacrament of Reconciliation gives us the strength we need to keep overcoming sin and to become more resolved not to fall into sin.
How can I encourage my friend to know that the sacrament of reconciliation is significant and valuable? She feels that God forgives without the sacrament.
Read up on and prayerfully reflect on the section on Confession in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Pray for your friend. Place your desire for your friend to know this truth, into the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Ask them to inspire you and guide you in knowing your role re. this.
Be attentive to their inspirations.
You also can read apologetics on how to explain Confession to protestants.
We will keep you and your friend in our prayers 🙏 :).
@@missionariesOME33 thamk you, dear Sisters!
My channel has a video on the secrets of Revelation, comparing it to Hebrew and Roman sources of the time.
Sisters is divorced person receive Holly Communion ?
It depends on the circumstances. We encourage you to talk with a priest. Sometimes all it takes is to make a good confession and then a person can receive our Eucharistic Lord.
the roman catholic church went off the rails a long time ago.
are they still selling indulgences ?
No, the Holy Catholic Church does not. But keep in mind there are judases; and Satan hates the Church, so he infiltrates and seeks to take her down. To leave the Church or attack her because of this, is to be deceived the evil one's agenda.
