Is Craig Kimbrel Bound For The Hall of Fame?

Craig Kimbrel has been one of the best closers in baseball since his arrival with the Braves. He's put up ridiculous numbers that had a lot of people comparing him to the likes of Yankees legend Mariano Rivera as potentially the best closer EVER. Since his early dominance in Atlanta, these talks have quieted down but it raises another question of whether Kimbrel should be joining Rivera in Cooperstown.
Let me know in the comments if you think Kimbrel should be a Hall of Famer. If you enjoyed this video please consider liking and subscribing as it would help the channel out a lot!

Every Time The Yankees Lose, They Go Big
มุมมอง 1.2K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
For the most part, all the New York Yankees do is win. However, that's not always the case. Over the past 15 years we've seen 2 seasons take a turn for the worse that led to a big offseason for the Bronx Bombers. In 2023, we saw the Yankees hit a new low. With that, it is widely expected the Yankees are going to make a splash in the form of Juan Soto and/or Yoshinobu Yamamoto to hopefully const...
The MLB Player That Chooses To Live In A Van

What if I told you there was a player in the MLB who chooses to live out of a van. That's right. Once a top prospect, Daniel Norris would rather sleep in his van than live in a nice house or apartment with the millions of dollars he's accumulated throughout his baseball career. It's a fascinating story that everyone can take something away from. If you enjoyed this video please feel free to lik...

How A Team STOLE The World Series

As we all know, winning the World Series is an incredible feat that takes a lot of luck and skill. For some fans, they can only dream their team one day comes out on top. What if I told you the Atlanta Braves did this by completely throwing together a group of players and it somehow WORKED. He has Hall of Fame credentials. Some voters seem to have a bias against closers. It's taking a while for Billy Wagner. Maybe he'll make it this time. That would help Kimbrel and Jansen's chances.

@@smashremixmedia4627 Wagner has a higher War 27.7 to 23.9. He has a lower ERA and a better K/BB ratio. His advanced metrics are all better like FiP bc he spent the majority of his career playing in hitter friendly parks. Plus he was left handed…At the end of the day, they are pretty similar stat lines which I said if Wagner doesn’t get in Kimbrel won’t either. However, Kimbrel has pitched very well to start the season and I made that statement over a month ago so if makes the all star team and gets to 500 saves then yeah he should get in. He looked washed the last couple of years but he’s playing well now.

To me the stat that matters for relief pitchers is win probability added. The role of an elite relief pitcher is to pitch in high leverage situations and convert probable/likely wins into definite wins or to prevent damage when the other team is starting a rally. A closer who give up a solo home run when up one and shuts down the other team when up 3 is infinitely worse than one who gives up the solo shot with a 3 run lead and shuts them down when up one. Convert the win--that is what matters.

Yes and he deserves to make it in too. Same with Kenley Jansen. Aroldis Chapman might have an argument, but it's looking like probably not. No other relievers actively have a chance unless they're really young. Kimbrel and Jansen are the two best closers of this generation and Chapman a strong third, but probably not strong enough to stand with the Kimbrel and Jansen. I'd say Kimbrel and Jansen aren't as good as Mo and Hoffman, but better than Fingers, Gossage, and Sutter.

The things that I despise about Manfred is the whole baseball rigging and how he has gamed the system for his owner friends. The baseball one is HUGE because teams can't change their attributes on the fly and sometimes GAME TO GAME. A fast team that has great bat on ball skills would really benefit from softer balls for example while harder more aerodynamic balls favor teams with an abundance of power hitters. This is also applied for pitching staffs as well. For teams not named the Dodgers, Astros and Yankees this ONE factor can invalidate ENTIRE SEASONS. And NONE of this is disclosed so this is game rigging and with betting agencies in MLB's pockets now you better believe there is collusion abound!

Agreed. All thats left is to get rid of the stupis chaotic loud music at games. Baseball needs to sell baseball. Its a magical game, it doesnt need the modern garbage crap noise. If you can give the undeveloped fans the mysticism of the game they will be fans for life and it will return to center stage for America again. The reason it came back is that its rediscovered the excitement of base runners and defensive plays. Homeruns are stupid gimmicks. Its finding its soul again.

Been homeless off and on since 2012. Started living in a tent at a campground for over 90 days this year and living peaceful and around nature, going barefoot. I'm thankful I have this option, but I like having a roof over my head for 8 months of the year. Being homeless has taught me not to take life for granted and that I really didn't need all the materialistic things I once had when I had a home and property back in 2007. I've learned to live a more simplistic and minimalistic life and that's ok! Mr. Norris is a true believer of following your dreams! From a Vietnam Era Marine Corps veteran.

This title is a f*cking insult to the truly homeless, and how about instead of taking their pictures and telling their stories, he builds and financially supports a shelter? This is choosing to be homeless, in so much as he chooses not to buy a home... even though he could... a real nice home, likely.... and what?
