Beth mae'r caws Gwenno?

Ok, I still love the soundscape on this. But is Gwenno pronouncing it all properly? Someone pointed out (comment, five years ago) that it was a little like Kate Bush. It drives me barmy when I hear "Babooshka" because the inflection in her song is completely wrong (the Russian for Grandma is pronounced "babbersh-ka", not "ba-booshka". Pedantic? Yes, of course, but these things are of huge importance...🙂 So...any Cornish speakers care to weigh in with an objective appraisal of the pronunciation? In any case..."Is there cheese" is endearingly bonkers. Even if it has notable heritage.

Chanson excellente mais le vidéo est moyen. Bah, le plus important est la chanson!

I saw a Discovery documentary that DNA testing has shown that the ancient Celtic races come from Austria where they peddled salt from a mountain with vast quantities of salt in it. Maybe Celtic means salt? Salt was very valuable in the middle ages. They migrated west into Ireland where gaelic developed.

A little late to the party, but wondering why she pronounced Cornish 'dh' as 'z'? I always heard it, and learnt it as the voiced 'th' in "this".
