    So the gist of it is, if you can afford it, and if the policies, restrictions and tax laws don't affect you in a negative way, then CA is better. Well, Southern CA at least. It really boils down to, are you willing to pay a huge premium for great year-round weather in the southern coastal areas? POV: born and raised in the San Joaquin Valley. I'm no longer willing to pay that premium. Eastern TN is gorgeous, green, and allows me to do more with my excess income, which is important later in life.

    Daniel ! Pretty good job of comparing the 2. I would like to partner up with you . i lived in different parts and traveled many parts of both states and believe i can be more discriptive . i can be called Mr. Florida & Mr. California ( b.t.w carmel in the fall no place like it ) ! Before i give some comoarisons to your followers . ive lived in cali most of my life 50+ yrs , now live in florida . Heres the bottomline When people live most of their life in cali moved to florida they move back to cali . When people lived most of thier life in florida move to cali , they stay in cali . Anyways Pros / cons Florida dress way lighter year around even during storms . way way better water sports boating phoenominal dinning beyond , resturants beyond . family life more close neighborhood parties and bonding , traffic most areas less time to destinations California Weather #1 #1 and folks believe me i live socal valleys and coast both no and south theres nothing like a beautiful delmar summer day or a springtime after rains in los gatos , like heaven Dry weather , no rains winds , for months . i much rather deal with earthquake fears than hurricanes and storms and flooding everywhere and Daniel!!!! You forgot to mention LIGHTENING !!! bro if you drive a lot its not fun lightening everyday July thru Oct in florida . thats what rich are here from nov thru may . Gas prices and registrations pathetic in cali , florida i pay $45 bucks for tags 2018 So lets get real in a perfect world since you built your video here which believe me done very well , live back n forth florida / cali the best.in America period You can have your texas , tennessee Georgia, and carolinas

    wrong about the waves in Florida I went there and saw surf shops we couldn't help but to laugh coming from Santa Cruz Cali I went to Florida with a negative perception and when I checked out cocoa beach it actually had decent waves not California waves but I found it to be more enjoyable Florida beaches absolutely decimate the best beaches in California that water is warm clear and sugary white sand with no rocks or kelp like California I liked Florida so much that I'm now moving there soon btw its far more beautiful in Florida my girl is from Huntington beach I'm from central coast west coast is definitely not the best coast

    I went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in the summer of 2020. I'll visit Texas and Southern California. Dodge a missle (not a bullet) of inflation living in Mexico. Lifestyle is easily 3-5x but 2-3x cheaper. Food 50% to 70% cheaper. Housing lifestyle is easily 50-70% cheaper as well. Still have beaches, still have an A/C, still have 500 mb/s internet, still have world cuisine...

    That CA employment tax is listed is LOW but the more important point is that depending on income bracket, that amount of money (which can be very significant) is enough to offset any benefit of CA weather or lifestyle and instead fund travel, savings, wealth building, etc. It's huge. You did skip over a lot of other factors around lifestyle and day to day life that are significantly different. Despite shitty summer weather and high property taxes, this native CA who lived in WA for nearly 20 years, TX wins hands down. Although I absolutely acknowledge that weather cannot be beat in CA, in San Dog in particular. With the tens of thousands of additional income we now have, we can visit frequently and go on exotic vacations, and weather the inflation storm, so I think we still make out in the long run.

    Are you on crack? Yes, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA and the Coastal Areas of CA have better weather than Texas overall, but Northern California, especially inland, can get brutal in the Winter. The coldest winters in TX are in the Panhandle area near Amarillo and that is nowhere near as cold and brutal as it gets in parts of Northern California. No one will ever get caught in a blizzard in TX.

    • @SanDiegoNeighborhoods
      @SanDiegoNeighborhoods 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      not denying that at all. it can get very cold with snow storms in some places in northern california. not necessarily a bad thing though. some people like it and I know a lot of us in SoCal like to venture up there for the great skiing and snowboarding. I was generalizing a bit but in my opinion I prefer the california weather overall!

Texas is fine if you are well off it really sucks it you are lower class regardless of race. 16% about 1 in 6 PEOPLE lack health insurance in Texas the number in MA is 1 in 50. California is closer to MA. Which state is better if you child has special needs, hint it ain't bible land Texas. Why is it the more Christians the worse the social network in a US state.. If you're a median income type person moving to FL isn't going to benefit you much because the money saved from no income taxes will be spent on car and home insurance. Lived in Tampa for a decade and I would expect 90 for about 5-6 months. If you're a window open type of person FL isn't great because of the insane humidity.

    Great content-on point. SDHC finance is hard to qualify for, and minimal funds are available. A fixed second lien loan with a lower fixed rate may be more cost-effective. HELOCs are advantageous when paid as soon as possible. 🏠💰

    We lived in South Carolina for 15 years. Not a lot of seasonal change, a bit more than CA, but not a lot. That being said, we missed the four seasons. Going to the beach every day would be nice, but Christmas is just nicer when there's a nip in the air and a little snow. Fall is so much better when the leaves change, and you can smell it in the air. Spring is much more interesting when it fights to overtake winter and different plants and trees fight to come alive. Summer can be saved for fun at the lake or river or even a hike so deep into the woods the sun can hardly get through. We missed the season and moved home to Tennessee nearly 10 years and haven't looked back.

    I lived in FL and SOCAL. Personally I prefer Cali, I grew up in fl and it’s not how it’s used to be. Less places for families because they knocking down aquariums to build apartments. The price of rent went up and the minimum wage is too low. I would say is I like how the people are more respectful and they have better variety food from different cultures. And there’s a Publix. Other than that CA is better for me.

CA is beautiful but very bad bad government control. You right about the mountains of AZ. I honestly think they are better. Honestly can’t believe Californians ain’t talking about it. Just my opinion, the taxes we pay are not worth the outdoor activities we have. The politicians absolutely exploit that and bank on you not leaving.

      I truly love the outdoors in both places. But for me what gives california the edge is getting to enjoy it all year round

      Investing in AZ is a terrible idea… you do know that the place will be uninhabitable within the next 20 years right? We’re gonna reach easily 120 degrees in May by then

      @@bricelevai8520don’t be a troll already did and ran my numbers very positive output. Also I don’t have my assets in the valley either. I’m in northern AZ. Enjoy the heat down there. I’m cashing in on the tourism that heads to the mountains from the folks in the valley.

    Love SoCal. My hometown of SD. Live now in AZ and like others have said if you are established in Socal, wealthy or have a GREAT career i stay there. However if you are like most Phoenix/AZ gives you a better chance to own/invest/save etc.. also depends were you live in Socal becuase if you are living in Shell Town, Logan Heights etc i prefer AZ 100 out 100 times lol

    California is crazy. Income tax, sales tax, gas tax, and endless fees on utilities and basic necessities ….kiss 50% of your income goodbye! And it’s only going to get more expensive because the people running the state don’t care about anything unless they can charge you for it.

    What’s the interest rate on HELOC? Like if we built a 250,000 unit.. we’d actually only pay 25,000 for it considering 10% interest rate? I’m either misunderstanding, or that’s a good deal.

    • @SanDiegoNeighborhoods
      @SanDiegoNeighborhoods หลายเดือนก่อน

      HELOC rates today are somewhere near 9% but please check with your lender. Also happy to make a referral. Just email me dan@beerhometeam.com. If it cost $250,000 you would pay the $250,000 back to the HELOC plus the interest.

      HELOC are usually 2 - 3pt above prime. Prime is at 8.5%. If considering a fixed 2nd lien loans, my best wholesale lender starts at 8.625

    I live in OC wanted to move to San Diego. And to be honest. I did not like San Diego at all. It looked ghetto. A And I drove for a long time.
