Hello, is Diff checker N/mm or ?
What does it mean to "use balancing for 1S" you're talking about at 1:57 ? Because for 1S there is nothing to balance.
This is where I’m cutting my teeth into RC. Great people, very friendly, helpful and available to answer any questions. Great facility.
Excellent, looking forward to my next race at APEX,
Good job Alex 👍 Have fun🏆
Hey where do get this in INDIA do anyone of uh have an idea please do let me know I have to buy this for someone special ☺️☺️
Great video and nice overview of the facilities.
It is an amazing facility- the atmosphere is incredible.

How to adjust Down time for nitro car
Go to the TIMER menu and set DOWN TIMER function.
How does this compare to the m17 limited edition, in response is the m17s faster?
The M17S has updated soft- and firmware compared to the M17 (as well as the limited edition) and thus has better response and feel.
Thanks for the help video!
Did the price go up with these extra features?
I haven't checked but it's likely gone up slightly. Currently selling in EU for 699 EUR with 1x receiver included.
Bella!! Ma preferisco flysky MB4 +
It would be great if st and th feeling could be mapped to a dial
im still amazed by my sanwa mts i got used from ebay
What is the 7:3 meaning? Thanks for the videos!
The length of the trigger basically, 7 referring to the throttle and 3 the brake! If you want to prioritize brake feel, try 5:5 !
@@hagberg Thanks for the info! 🙂
Hello. I have a sanwa m12s with rx-482. Are those receivers compatible? Thanks Alexander
He mentioned that fh4 models are no longer compatible. Rx-482 is fh4
RX-482 won’t work with M17S sadly.
Will the M17S be plug and play with PCs (like the FlySky) now?
No
@@hagberg As always - thank you for the response and ongoing content! You're a big part of the reason I run an XB2 - and soon an X4. Keep up the great work!
Thank you Alex for the video, your biggest fan :)
Thank you for a informative video. Does the color change of the background color also change the color of the pulsating led on the side og the transmitter?
You can set the led colour separately and it can be set to pulsate or non-pulsating mode.
@ Very nice! A evolution of the M17 for sure. I missed such a feature on the M17, even if it has no impact on the performance its nice to be able to personalize the transmitter in such a way. Thank you for your swift reply :-)
Thanx for this video. Helpful 👌
Nice work Alex!
it´s not the RC Car, it´s the Pilot.
With a good transmitter can't ackermen be changed in a radio settings?
Only if you use two servos.
Is it possible to connect the ESC with the old WiFi Express module?
Unfortunately not, you will need the OTA module or the LCD Program Box.
Is pgs servo good for 2wd off road buggies?
Most definitely! It's widely used and definitely strong enough for the class.
What about eighth scale?
@@ToddEB for 8th scale on- and off-road you'll need the full size servos which have more torque, such as PGS-XB II and XR II.
To use the coast, do you have to disable and or set anything special
Drag brake won't work with coast. Perhaps you need to use a stronger brake setting to help slow the car down more precisely and more suddenly in certain sections, at least that's my guess. Never used this function myself unfortunately.
I just purchased a T1 Team model (with Schumacher dampers) to race Touring Car at my local indoor carpet track. I wanted something belt drive and high quality to race with. Even though it’s old it’s very nice. It should do well as the track is small and the atmosphere is “have fun and participate”.
I have a 458 Duo and recently bought a Cell Master SPECTER Discharge Resistor Bank - but can't get it to work. The bank has a balance cable which does not fit the 458 Duo - and I haven't been able to get it to work. Any ideas here? Will it work if I change the balance cable connector? Thanks for all your great videos!
Hi, the Specter discharge bank is compatible with the Specter charger only (from what I understand).
@ thank you for taking the time to reply! Much appreciated!
Wow, that car controll is crazy 😲
It looks almost like with 2x video speed. Awesome that you are able to control car so well! Do you know what is more or less top speed at the end of the straight?
Should be around 100 km/h on this track.
Great video , thanks for sharing
VERY nice Alex.
Just ordered the G3. Looking forward to using it in my classes to analyse power consumption as a physics exercise. One project my students will be undertaking is to assess the drag coefficient of their own vacuum formed bodies and the data logging capabilities of this will be invaluable
If you change settings is that still considered blinky mode
Blinky mode means 0 boost and turbo but any other settings may change (except softening).
Excellent video ❤
If you purchase the stock version, and if you hook up the non-polarity black cap will it still protect the battery if you hook it up backwards?
It has nothing to do with the battery. But the reverse polarity cap won't break in case of reverse plugging the ESC.
The other day I got an x-ray from Facebook marketplace that looks exactly like your t1 but mine has upper a arms in the front and the carbon plate on top of the front bumper is fully connected between the two front body posts. Is mine the very first t1 model released?
Hi mate, this question will be difficult for me to answer without seeing a picture. Do you mind sending me a picture or a link to a picture?
@hagberg I don't know how to send a picture to someone on TH-cam. Do you have Facebook?

Hallo Alexander möchte mir so eine Discharge Resistor Bank selber bauen was genau würde ich benötigen oder wo könnte ich so etwas Kaufen
Is it recommended to use 2s 7.6v Batteries in 13.5t super stock or are 7.4v batteries better suited for this racing class?
I personally use 7.6 HV packs charged to the legal limit of 4.2 per cell.
Understood. Seeing the guys use those batteries, they were charged to the 7.6v. Wondering why OEMs make a battery that's 7.6v and can't be used.
Are those packs used due to being lighter in weight mainly?
Typically the HV LiPos are basically LiPos that are rated to higher voltage, they Typically have lower Internal Resistance meaning they can provide more power even at the same voltage
the new update has not fixed the blinky mode bug
really appreciate this video, Alex!
Hi Alex, Can you advise when setting the drive frequency with 13.5T super stock/boost, which is better between 4k and 8k? I see that 8K and higher are for Modified motors. I'm using a 13.5T and wanted to know if setting this to 4k is advisable or leaving it at 8k as I've had it set. The track has a long straight as well.
Which motor brand/type are you using? We recommend 8K or higher for HW motors.
I'm currently using a SurpassHobby V6
Hello, could you give a tip for the cl2? It's a track in a small tarmac pavilion with some tight low-gas curves and a long, full-throttle rapid. thanks, obrigado 🇵🇹

Random question but what bias would you set your GP car?
i have a G3X. I cannot connect my wifi module to the esc. It will connect, then as soon as i try to go into parameters, or firmware, anything other than the main screen, it disconnects. It will not reconnect while in the parameters screen. As soon as I exit parameters and go back to the main screen, I can again connect. It will not allow me to change any settings. I have updated the software to the latest database. I have an android phone (S24+) I say this because I cannot make the tekin module work with my android phone on my Tekin ESC which is one of the main reasons I prefer to buy HW products. Anyone else aware of a known issue? Maybe Alex can help?
hi Alexander congratulations on your beautiful video I wanted to ask you another thing but once I have saved all my various settings on the SD card inside the radio control and I have created various types of programs to load them into the servo, do I always have to connect the servo via cable to the radio control or can I do it via the SD without having to connect it to the radio control?
thanks Alexsander for the fantastic video I finally understood how to program my pgs servo and add various configurations to the sd to try on the track…. but there is one thing that I did not understand well but if you want once the servo is programmed and having it I have to change the ch1 to use it because there is a step that you say I have not changed because I am not using it in a programmed way? thanks for your reply
If you're programming the servo with the multi setting gear program card, and/or the M17, like I do, keep the servo plugged into CH1. If you're planning on using the SSL/Telemetry programming using the CODE10 mode on the TX, keep it plugged into the SSL port on the receiver.
trying to decide on what esc for my 24 xb8-e xr8 pro or plus? Ive heard the plus is more reliable ? removable power switch better internal components? what's your thoughts?
