This week on The History of Africa, my quest to uncover more about Africa's rich story takes me to Egypt, where I explore the most famous civilisation in Africa - the ancient Egyptians. I go beyond the usual analysis of the pharaohs and ask, who were the ancient Egyptians? What was their ethnicity? What made such a great civilisation possible? How did they order their society, and what were the...

Thank your family putting women as priority 🙏🏽❤️
I think this is a lie 😕 😐 🤔 😔
I just ❤❤❤ and celebrate you, what an inspiration...
Sadly everything has been destroyed and ruined by Sudanese themselves for the sake of their own interests.
Beautiful nubian Queen 👸 we afro jamaican are proud of u a true Egyptian Queen xxxx❤❤❤
Dear Upright African woman , Thank you for Lending your voice to our community... May God Almighty grant you long life , draw more Pan Africanists your way and keep leading you people
Absolutely beautiful! Zeinab Thank so much it is very informative and educational. The cultures are very unique and rich❤️👏👏🙏🏾🙌🏾
This is really striking. While I understand African Americans and the Diaspora plot, I do not understand why African brothers and sisters were unaware of their history. When they are right here in the Africa continent, how can that be? After the 79 years of decolonization. As a result, Europeans divided, conquered, and miseducated the same way US did African Americans. It was all by design... thanks to Zeinab and the Africancentric movement for helping us trying to remember who we are. A century ago, when African and African American culture dominated the US and started influencing the world, I knew something was amiss. This goes back to Jesse Owens' four gold medals at the Berlin Olympics. People like us could not accomplish special things if they lacked any history. When I discovered that the ancient Egyptians were also black indigenous Africans who built the pyramids and temples, I discovered the 25th Kingdom of Kush Dynasty was ruled by black pharaohs.

What happened to the show about Africa with Zeinab Badawi, which I found so nformative?
Incredible work Ms. Badawi
A very interesting historical series, Thank you Zeinab Badawi for you wonderful documentary series
Why should it controversial? They were black.
I have been bingeing on this series. one of the great documentaries on African history and human evolution/history in general. Thanks for doing it.
Zeinab Badawi I stumbled upon your broadcast about three months ago and I love it. I had been wondering why we/us as Brown people, hardly ever see anyone like us telling our history. It’s so profound hearing you. Keep bringing us our history & may God bless & keep you, your cameramen, our people etc. safe out there.
thank u Zeinab .. I really like it
There is a strong something I noticed. While reading topics, about automation for example, it may refer that it has started in our area. When I change the language of Wikipedia to my language I may find no data. Even the written is so much less than the English version. My children does not know about the countries in our area neither where they are on the map. There is so much shortage in knowledge. I hope the students study the history of all areas on the earth instead of repeating the same topics in all stages.
Absolutely enjoyed your series, you should do more
Keep it up sister 🙏
Great series, I love how she connects with the people on her travels. Can’t help wondering though, why she wears the same clothes all the time. I find that rather odd!
I, too wondered about the clothes as well. But, she talked about that in another interview and she had a reason for that , it makes sense. I saw myself as looking for something negative to say about someone, I have gotten to respect for their work and brought knowledge to my life and I chose to leave my curious or negative thought, were it was, in my mind. But, thank you for sharing yours, each day we learn and grow as a result...you are cool!
Zenaid Badawi deserves to be called Mother Africa , she gave birth to the History of Africa and if not then an award should made in her honor and called the Mother Africa award .
Zeinab, you are quite an educator and lover of humanity and truth! Thank you for giving of yourself to share Africa and its peoples, cultures and lifestyles, showing the world, itself and its homeland, no matter what we were thought! Much appreciated!
Thanks zeinab for always inspiring Africans to believe that we can do it without any help!! We are stronger as Africans and will always be
Africa is lucky to have an amazing soul like zeinab
Thank you so much zeinab for always being there to discover Africa as a person for we are very fortunate to have you doing a great job. As students we find it encouraging to know about who we are and where we from. You have always being a role model to me and to every student out there and I hope and wish to be like you !
Africa is lucky to have such an amazing soul like Zeinab !!
Zeinab, I think this is the best documentary I've seen on African history to date! I'm of Jamaican descent, so it has been incredibly insightful, refreshing and exciting to learn about our history before slavery!!! I really hope that this doc will continue to reach more and more audiences!
Do you know Jim Nduruchi
awesome work she has done
I love the series! Thank you so much. You are amazing Madame Badawi!
This is also important for all cultures besides african culture, not all "paleskined" people agree on the history they have been tought. Exellent contributon on the world history, all humans have their origin derieved from Africa. I have pale skin but I think african history belongs to me too because all human kind can be traced back to Africa, and I certenly don't support slavory or old truth about human value.
African history has been a big lie for years, and the history of this country that has been taught, was taught by caucasians, wow!. Thank God for this program and project, I hope that we could get something like this going here in Alabama, we need to learn the real truth about us and not what scholastic books tell us. We ALL have been puppets ever since we been here and deprogrammed.
Congratulation Zeinab for your research concerning the history of Africa. Of course we learn so much from UNESCO, the institution of peace, communication with people all over the world💓And I always enjoy your comentary about africa.❤Good luck and blessings with love💟
Ma! Am very proud of you, your hard work for making a visual documentation of Africa's history. Our ancestors will be proud of you as we the earthlings are. You stand tall to once again remember us the wisdom our ancient Queens had on the politics, Religion, History etc. Thank you once again
The most beautiful woman I've ever laid my 49yr old eyes on...and I love what she's doing for journalism and africa.
And they make us pay for their lies...
Congratulations to your family in special your great-grandfather
Merci beaucoup,... . ❗❗❗ ❗
Thanks you Zeinab Badawi for bringing this series to the world. As a African American I appreciate and value this new knowledge of our history. In the words of Wangari Maathai, you cannot enslave a mind that knows itself,That values itself. That understands itself. That is why I believe we were robbed of our own history in Africa to assume theirs.
I am from Kenya with 2 masters degrees in sciences but was totally ignorant of the history of my continent. Thank you Zeinab.
