Haha! The shark was actually probably one of the biggest we have swam with (guessing about a 5ft and a few 3ft ones). And… Chelsea didn’t even see it as her goggles had steamed up 😂. I would really recommend a snorkel there though. And 100% if you can get away from the crowds somewhat it feels even more special as a place. We hope you enjoy your trip!

Hey! We booked through our hotel but I think it was through UMI travel (they have a small little shop on the beach in el nido town). I can’t remember the price but It was worth it for us to just have our own time everywhere, obviously it’s much cheaper as a group tour

Aww that’s great to hear! We hope you have an amazing time. We use a GoPro Hero 10 for our days out on and under the water. (We take it off the widest setting too as we find that distorts around the edges quite a bit but it’s helpful for those one off wide shots)

Thank you for your kind words! The Philippines is just breathtaking though, and we are glad we have managed to capture a slice of that!

We use a combination but yes when we go out on boat trips or if it starts to rain we will just use that. We find it great 9/10 times but sometimes the sound is a little bad so we want to get a little mic for it next time. We try and use a Sony ZV-E10 mainly (a kind of entry point all round camera). Hope that helps ☺️

Yeahh we agree I don’t think it’s reached the point where it’s worth flying half way across the world to buy a tailored suit… however, if you want a holiday and happen to go that side of the world it’s definitely worth grabbing one if you can! We are based in the U.K. and the craziest thing was when we sat down to choose a suit a style they just showed us a NEXT clothes catalogue (next is kind of like a GAP in the US) Ps Thanks for the vibe compliment ❤️.

We booked directly through their website: paolynhouseboats.com But I think they were quite busy so asked us to contact them on WhatsApp first to check for availability so keep that in mind if trying to book a specific date. I think the houseboats are also on Airbnb. We found them more expensive on there though!

Thank you! We booked our private tour through our hotel but it was an Umi travel and tour (they have a small shop/area right on el nido beach

We stayed in coron town for one night in a hotel and they picked us up from the airport and then the houseboat had a taxi that dropped us off back at the airport. (Was a shared taxi van). So we didn’t need a car. Lots of tricycle taxis in the town too. But if you were looking to stay longer and explore the area maybe a car would be a good idea

We 100% would. The owners there are lovely and super helpful, it was basic accommodation but everything we needed. Try and ask for a room upstairs as we found the balcony felt more private for us up there!

@Chelsandsam_ we stayed in Two Seasons Tourist Inn and it was 2 mins walk to the beach. For sure we will be there next year. Have you tried the Halo-Halo near the van terminal? It's like a carinderia with premium Halo-Halo but cheaper price 😅

We personally loved our time in all the places. El nido probably has the most options for food and day trip opportunities. Coron has a couple day trip options but a lot less in the actual town in comparison we found but we also stayed on a houseboat there which in itself was an amazing experience. Boracay had great food options and really nice beaches. I think a lot of people holiday there because it’s close to Manila (again good if you’re short on time)
