I think the Boss & Digitech was set too high with their settings. If their effects were toned down a little, then I think it would have been a fair comparison. The guitar guy on the right was really rude, whilst his friend was talking he continually played over the top of him & looked uninterested in the guys point of view, it took him awhile to quieten down & engage. The demo of the pedals could have been better, showing more ranges of the pedals, this would have been nice. The MXR pedals are great pedals without a doubt, but the other two are still very good pedals, when dialed in nicely. But I suppose it's like most people, they'll over-do the effect, rathar than peppering the effect for good taste.

Just move the one volume knob to where the tone is. You can just leave the hole or put a gold sticker over it to match the scratch plate. That's what I did. Can barely tell

Really comparing a 5K to 13K guitar with an $800 Mexico Roadhouse, Kinda glad you did because the sound difference is not worth the price difference Plus a Maple neck to a Rosewood. Come on guys... The roadhouse sounder just as good...Plus the earlier version 2013 has Custom Shop texas Specials with a Rosewood Neck would sound just as Good as the Cruz

I had the cherry red N2 ( "padauk" ) it looked awesome, sounded really great, the BillLawrence had a creamy screaming upper freq range... but the overall build quality of the guitar was utter crap. :)) all the hardware fell apart, neck was twisted, fretwork was shitty... absolutely unreliable instrument. My ultimate dream is still a padauk N4 ( and a Ibanez Jem floral ) :D

I have a 68 Paul Fretless Wonder which I bought new in 1968. Same impression as you guys about the low frets....particularly after playing these same frets for over 40 years! Wondering if the Custom Reissue is as heavy? the very first night I played mine, the strap popped off and the Paul nut caught a piano on the way down and sheared the G string tunner off! Managed somehow to play at least for two more hours without a G string. Truly enjoyed your video! Haley
