this game was so much worse on original hardware. that slowness in battles is the game having to load data off the disc and process it as it goes, so there'd be a 4-5 second load time before every attack. but it's near instant with an iso and a good computer.

This game is pure suffering. Idk how I managed to beat it. A few months ago I tried to play it again with the intention of getting the move set I want but the game beat me even with emulation speed up tricks. I permanently scarred my friends brain with the wild digimon battle theme. Anytime I mention digimon he hums that theme 😂

I have a very soft spot for this trashfire game as I wiled away hundreds of hours on it as a kid. It's awful in so many ways, but it still makes me nostalgic as hell

I once had a bug that showed a captive friendly digimon (It's Angemon if I am not mistaken) appearing on the domain that I cleared up. It was a mission to rescue Angemon from Disk Domain. I saw Angemon on a tile that is 'next door' from my current area. Then when that message pops up, Angemon disappears from said area.

There are so many cool evil mons in this and Next Order, but I could never bring my myself to make care mistakes to get 'em. I suppose that's the curse of being an animal rescue center worker IRL. Even raising a digital pet wrong just goes against all my instincts no matter how hard I try to roleplay as a cartoonishly evil Tamer like you did for this run.

Man, I remember back in the day there was no internet to look up all this and I already got most of all those digimons by random. I played that game so much

I got into this game with minimum english , and no guide at all. My first digimon turned into sukamon or numemon, and ended up as skull greymon. Saw a small digimon called poxiemon and decide to challenge him with my sukamon, and my digimon wipe floor in a few seconds. For a digimon game, it has the best exploration theme, and your main goal is to invite every digimon into your city.
