Branches falling on you.... LOL I would be screaming too!! The last couple parks we have been at the WiFi has been amazing. I love the picture of the barge you got, we had them going up and down the Mississippi River when we stayed in Louisiana
This was a great video, lots of good information, I will need to check out a CEO Park next time we come down. We are staying in Foley now til end of February and then heading to Florida. Such a great park and the weather is amazing. WiFi is great. I just use my cell phone data for most of my travel. I don't have Star Link but I see many here that do. I guess that is for Internet and watching TV. Researching is the key Barb you are right about that.
It was a true learning experience. Plus no more mayflies for me lol. We are down in dusty big bend Texas. We leave Monday for Conroe. We will head home by truck for Xmas on the 18th. Can't wait to see Ariel. I'm sure your grandbaby is getting big. Love you guys
@@soldonrvlife It is one that is in process that needs to be done. The best part of it was I snatched the Little House on the prairie hat off of mannequin and put it on my head and Bob snapped a picture and I put it back lol
As I’ve been preparing to begin my 70 degree trip, with toy hauler and Spyder, I bought the guide to COE campgrounds. I love the COE campgrounds. Funny thing, when in the army I was stationed at Ft. Belvoir, VA for a year, home of the COE. See you down the road.
And, with the America the Beautiful Pass they are half price. Stayed at one on Land Between The Lakes, in KY, for under $10 a night with water and electric. Doubt I could get the fifth wheel in that one. Had my Leisure Lite.
@DocLord901 I do know there are some that are difficult to get in. So far we've not encountered those other than just dealing with tighter roads and trees LOL

Wow!! Good job on the back in site, I never book them, just because yes with toy hauler you need the room. It can be done, Bob is like Scott, he can maneuver his truck to get the rig in, but ya hate it when it's work, I ask for pull through only GOOD job you guys!!
I know your video was long. Thanks for watching it. We are going to get the Starlink mini in January. 4 years and ok but Texas is tough. We have been in Big Bend park and surrounding area with no internet. That is why it took so long for your video to go up. We appreciate you so much and I'm glad you are my sister
Did you put the "Decatur" sign in the video just for us? Next time we get together I will try to remember to tell you my barge story from growing up near the Mississippi River. EDIT - The mayflies in some areas (LaCrosse Wisconsin, for example) get so thick that their swarms show up on weather radar. They might use snow plows to get them off the bridges or shovels to clear sidewalks.
We do not have an onboard fueling station. As you can see ours is kind of a garage model. Our truck has 40 gallons for diesel and then we have an additional 40 gallons for diesel in the back so we can go pretty far with the truck and the camper pulling when we get good prices on diesel. But no, not on the Can-Am. Typically it's $14 this year to fill it up, no matter where we've been until we got to Big Bend and it's 24.

We love staying at COE Parks! They are some of our favorites.
We had stated only I think two before so this was a big change for us but we enjoyed it except for the one that had the mayflies LOL.
I am touched by your dedication!!! Thank you so much!!!! I sure appreciate you both!!!!

I wish we would have utilized Coe's more than we did. Thanks for sharing this - miss you!

Several things come to mind. 1. You really knocked out the states! 2. Mayflies!!! So gross! I may have thrown up! 3. Video on Little house?

We love them because they are so peaceful and relaxing and even on holidays you don't have all the rowdies. It's very nice.

@@davelauraphillips8814 I did see it till editing. But I thought of you and wondered if you would catch it. Good job. It's an Easter egg.
Do you have an onboard fueling station for your CanAm? We do have one in out toy hauler however never had to be in remote places to use it.
