At DangerDave8080 we will create videos mostly about motorcycle stuff. We will have moto vlogs of trips taken and interesting sites, product reviews ... one of my favorite things to do! Also, we will provide riding and safety ideas ... I currently ride a BMW 1250 GSA and a 2008 Gold Wing. I started riding motorcycles at 60 years of age ... bought the Gold Wing as my very first bike ... LOVE the GW! After about 5 years .... bought the BMW 1250 GSA for off-road riding .. fireroads, two-tracks ... not super difficult riding.

Mosko Moto BACKCOUNTRY 35L PANNIER Review - After 2 Years of Use
มุมมอง 2.2K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Mosko Moto makes great stuff .. period! (And so do several other competitors :)) I am kind of a Mosko Moto fan .. have several of their items ... their stuff is great. Now to the Backcountry Panniers. They work for me ... they are as rugged as I need them to be ... have fallen multiple times on dirt and the bags tough it out. They get scratched a bit .. but, so far, no tears or rips. I have the...

Aerostich TF6 Chest Impact Armor - Adventure Riders Protector
I rode 120 miles today after my buddies canned our meet up it was forecast to rain. And it did for 110 miles, not bad rain and I was somewhat cold. Still I rode gently and enjoyed it 👍
I have a great group of riding buddies, I truly enjoy their company, comradely and banter. But for me, I love being alone on the open road, especially on a multi day ride or long adventure. I just feel so much more free to do my own thing in my own time!
Group is fun but…alone is best for me I’ve found. To many personalities, to fast or to slow in terms of pace. I don’t feel the need to have to hit 1000 miles per day. I like to smell the roses if you will. I don’t chase women and I don’t drink so there’s that. If you’re going to ride in a group, my recommendation is no more than 3 to 4 guys, take some small rides initially, day trips are good. You must make sure the compatibility is there.
I big dealer of Motoz tires said you can run the GPS in the Mostly off road position and it will get the same life mileage it would if in the 50/50 direction.
Just the video I was looking for. On my next set of GPS tires the rear will be mounted mostly off-road. Thanks!
Pro tip: lube the duck head top and bottom where it slides on the rim. Also - use the bead breaker to keep the tire in the center of the wheel on the opposite side of the wheel when first using the tire iron
Como la amarraste?
I have been running the mitas e07+ on my r1250gsa. Probably the best 50/50 tire I tried. They are a little noisy on the highway but perform very well on pavement and dirt.
Its just bullshit, a marketing thing.
Nice unbiased review. So does this replace your Aerostich suit?
Congratulations!!!! You have also been "making" a difference, sharing your knowledge with us Thank you.
Isn't it easier to start practicing to the left instead of the right? There's a lot of weight on the throttle if you do it to the right. Just a thought. Also the arm on the side you're turning to should be completely straight and stretched.
Yes ... you are right! II should have started going left ... didn't think about that at the time ...LOL. THANKS for watching!!!
Just be careful. I cut my thumb when I did it !
Because I ride all my off-road and on road two up with my wife including BDRs I don't know if these can stand up to the weight. The Dunlop trailmax missions somehow manage to resist the extra weight and last forever. I will try these on your suggestion for the off-road position but am worried they will die fairly quickly due to the two up weight. Fingers crossed thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching. Please let me know how these tires do with 2 up ... that would be great information!
I had a Heidenau K60 on my 1200 BMW GS which has similar centre band of solid rubber. It returned much better mileage as a result, but was not so sharp in the loose gravel/sand/mud, but then nothing is perfect. If you learn any tyre, you can ride them all in all conditions.😁
Thanks for watching!
Yes , me too . K60 , same thoughts .
Mosco all day long.
Thank you for the video. Love the setup. You are awesome. 🤙👑
Thanks for watching!
I am a full time- TWO rider. For 5 years I travelled between hospitals =all over the US-for contract work. I owned the 2-piece suit. I logged close to 200k miles, to include one ‘unplanned’ get off wearing this suit. There is no doubt it functions well in all weather -hot to cold, rain, shine, hail and snow. Buy it. Ride to Duluth to be fitted You’ll never regret the purchase. =Peace=
How do you pee with all the layers on? 😂
Are you selling insurance? Is this a tryout for some kind of "creepiest smiles" competition? Are you some sort of pro-oil ghoul? Is this some kind of dadaist modern art?
I meant no offense ... it's simply an effort at humor ...
Great video! Love the smile! 😁
Great video! Bang on with the pro tips!
Thanks for watching!
great job! just lean more and turn left ,right foot on the brake
The clearwaterlights website nows says 700 miles of travel for "the installation is on us" promo
Go Dangerous. Can you comment if the Sargent seats are any good for throwing the leg over and exercising the option?
Nice video Dave, thank you. I may try those handlebar raisers. I installed the Rox risers, very good standing but get the same feeling you mentioned…to tall sitting.
My 1250 came with the ROX risers ...great for standing ... almost to comfortable ... and then stting down felt like app hangers! Lol ... the Touratech did the trick for me. Thanks for watching!
Thanks again, I’ll order a set and try them. I checked their website, they make 3 sizes, which do you have? I’m 6’1”…same a you, ape’s is exactly right 😆
@billwaterhouse5894 The middle size. It perfect for me .... 6' tall ....
👍👍👍 Exactly what I was thinking, they are 25mm (tallest are 40mm, Rox are 50mm).
My main zipper failed in about the same way about a year into my ownership of the suit. Aerostich treated it as a warranty repair, and I didn't pay a thing other than shipping. They also gave me the choice of replacing the zipper with the current one, which is waterproof, or an older style which isn't technically waterproof, but is a larger size. My failed one was the new, smaller waterproof one. I went with the larger zipper. The suit still does not leak, the larger zipper is easier to engage, and just feels more robust going on 2 years now. The Aerostich customer service IS the best.
Careful brother… I pulled my back bad in a very similar situation in PA
Dangerous can make it no problem
What is the point of this video?
You’re talking about one of the most gifted ADV riders in the world
Only in my dreams 😂 Just trying to get better ... love the sport ... started a little late ... began riding "dirt" at 66 ... 2 two years later ... have so much to learn! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing mate! They're definitely on my shopping list 🙂
Thanks for watching!
Better off without em, maybe if you're old and bruise easily but it won't zave you frpm breaking anything
Everything about mosko moto are good except the price.
Yep ... they are a premium product. I've seen some less expensive panniers that look pretty good. Thanks for watching!
I also had a main zipper failure, but with less miles. I was wearing the suit almost every day though. I ordered a replacement from the "Discount" page that was a different size than the one they fitted me in when I made the trip to Duluth to buy the first one. To my surprise the other suit fit even better than the first. I kept both and other than liking the H Vis first suit's color better I still seem to wear the "Tan" one more. I have some BMW pants and a 6th gear mesh jacket I wear if I'm going to be walking around much on shorter rides.
Moscow Moto?
I know ... took me forever to get their name right ... they spell it Mosko ... pronounced Moscow ... 😀
Loved the walk around!!! Thanks for sharing! See you in Lebanon!
Thanks! I wanted to show my buddies what they were missing ... I've already signed up for TN! Thanks for watching!
I guess there is no way I can put a 14 inch laptop in there, right? That's a real shame for the use I would give it. Furthermore, I cannot understand a 300$ bag that is not waterproof with out a crappy plastic cover and it all seems a bit tight in there. Otherwise, I kind of like the bag. Good review, thank you!
Thanks Dave for the video. I’ve only just got my Sand pants and they didn’t fit well after 10 mins on the bike. I’ve adjusted the knee pads and they are wearable now. I’ll get the suspenders. Thanks again for the video
Suspenders will make a difference ... but you're now wearing suspenders ...lol. thanks for watching!
what are dates for next year, have they posted yet?
I'm inspired by your courage and tenacity! Keep it up!
Looks like it gets really dirty, I couldn’t stand it
Yep ... it does get dirty. They make the same jacket in a brown color ... may hide dirt better. Thanks for watching!
Putting the cooling vest in the freezer so you can use it 4-8 hours later when it's actually hot. That's brilliant! Putting mine in the freezer now!
It works. Thanks for watching!
I have 23 GSA Trophy but NO dirt riding experience okay just a tad with my previous GS HP with Anakee Adventures… Question that Im compelled to ask is this: How much confidence inspiring are these Motoz tires on the dirt on the 50/50? In addition mileage/longevity. Thanks in advance. Take care from balmy Arizona🫡🇺🇸🌵
They work well on dirt ... I would stay away from deep sand ... also, consider mounting in the mostly dirt position ... even better in dirt. Longevity ... I would expect on asphalt 5-6k ... of course depends on riding style. Thanks for watching!
@@dangerdave8080 much appreciated!!
What if a crack a fat Dangerous?
Maybe out west, in the southeast I would die.
Great idea for dry heat--I tried a cooling vest in the mid-Atlantic and, sadly, that was a no-go. I do like the layers you have though--I have similar ones form NPWear (no longer around). Great stuff. And the gaiter idea, too. I freeze mine and that helps a lot.
so what is best for high humid conditions? Doing a trip from Boston to Maine late August.
Great Question! You can not wear the "vest" in high humidity .. doesn't work. I failed to talk about high humidity and high heat .. in those cases I wear a tight fitted, long sleeve Under Armour shirt ... they make one for heat (to be worn in hot weather) it's a thin material ... you will see professional athletes wear something similar. Under high temps and humidity ... you are going to be warm :). The Under Armour shirt seems to wick away just enough sweat that you can get a bit of the "cooling" effect. Just to reiterate ... the "cooling vest" works well in low humidity but it will kill you in high humidity .. LOL. THANKS for the question!
@@dangerdave8080 Thanks for the channel!
I soak my neck buff as you demonstrated. Then wear it "hoodie" fashion under my helmet with the rest tucked into the jacket. Try it!
You’re a good man Dave but can’t support this one 😂. I rode yesterday with my wife, only 50 miles or so in fully vented Klim gear…we were dying. 94°, humidity 90% ish…with a feels like 109°. Brutal
Riding in heat in a snowsuit lol
Dave, did the seat have any effect on inseam reach to the ground. I am able to comfortably flat foot my 2017 R1200 GSA with the seat in high position. Since the seat is wider does that have any effect?
Great question. I too can flat foot in the high position (barely). With the Sargent seat, yes, it does stretch your legs a pinch. The wider seat of the Sargent "pulls" your legs up a bit for sure. THANKS for watching!
