Thanks man. This old Freewing/Sebart Fiat G.91 came stock from the factory with this brake chute built in. I'm afraid you can't buy the system separately. Also, the needed space for it is rather big: almost 10cm length needed for the compressed chute and a big spring operated by a servo behind it and a diameter of 3cm approximately. here is the guy at the sticks in the video. It was my second and third flight with the plane. thank you for your compliment. On that video flaps setting was stock but I increased it a bit now making the landings even better. The secret to lad that one is "keep up the speed and fly it to the ground"

hello I was the guy at the sticks, the setup is 100 procent stock and the video show second and third flights of the plane. After the flights you can see on those vids I increased a bit the flaps max deployement to slow it down a bit easier . the entire flights were made with control boards gyros activated

yes in fact, that come from the fact it's the arfl plus. I bought both edf separatly One edf has been bought fully assembled , the other as been assembled from spare parts and show a unbalance I have to solve. This video show the second and third flights of the plane and I am tuning it

@Icarusthe2nd Ditto my friend from Texas. Banana hobby sells a foamy B-25 same size and weight as the Hanger 9. The electric retracts are $ 120.00 and fit with a little retro, will send pics if interested.

Hi Frank. Nothing wrong with your analysis. But here is some more info: we had plenty rain since October 2023 so our grass is very thick, lush and resistant. It appears well manicured in the vid but if you look again you'll see that the front wheel is barely visible, we have a lot of bumps and potholes in our grass runway also. Same day and the day before I saw 2 Freewing 80mm EDF planes with a high performace unit struggling to take off and one running off the field into the farmer's lands, with 8S setup and a cg 2-3cm behind the stock cg. So yeah I'm pretty happy that this plane seems to have no problem at all. Greetings from Belgium

Hi Jandro thanks man 🙏👍 Yeah stock FW 1350kv 8S combo, very powerful indeed. The timing of the ESC was probably set to medium/high (20 degrees) in the factory because I'm pulling close to 140 Amps and over 4000 Watts 😳 Timing should be a lot lower. 2 Friends of mine had a crash already because their FW jets (Avanti and Zeus) had the ESC set to such a high timing also. I will lower mine to 15 or even 12 degrees just to stay on the safe side.

@@Icarusthe2nd Not bad! What exactly caused the crash... did they run out of battery?

@@RC4ever The high amps caused the ESC to go in shutdown because the batteries couldn't cope with the high load.

I would of course credit you with the original video and link to your channel. You should definately get a 3D printer. It´s a very useful tool. And you can print amazing stuff, especially RC models. I just finished printing a 2m long Saab Draken that will fly with a jet turbine. Who would have thought that this would be possible?

Dank! die geeft inderdaad geen problemen op gras. Ik gebruik ofwel 2x 4S 5200 of 6S 5000+2S 5000. Heb de blackbox wel naar achteren in de romp moeten verplaatsen om plaats te maken voor de 2de batterij, anders was die VERSCHRIKKELIJK neuslastig.

Inderdaad een hele hoop power, bijna 140A en 3800W. Timing staat standaard echter te hoog ingesteld, zal die nog wat verlagen om de batterijtjes wat te sparen 🙂
