Hey, your video is really inspiring. Looks like you are living in shenzhen😃
@@FRKHuang thanks! I live in Tianjin, but I’m moving to Hangzhou next month
@@alimp_designs cool, keep on rolling!
Can someone pl tell me the song name from 6:30 onwards. Thanks a lot
wow im inspired.
@@Wordisbonz oh hey. I actually loved your videos, they are saved in “references” playlist. Good luck with your camera journey!
@ holy smokes! yt world is small. this made the day 💯 goodluck to you as well! staying tuned in.
Why not out of petg or pctg?
Selling without CE marking on Europe... Scary
I need to know which cnc router is that?

I LOVE this direct style of video
"I may not be a professional designer, but I truly believe that proper design holds the power to create impactful and timeless impressions. A well-designed product or system not only serves its purpose but also resonates with people on an emotional and aesthetic level, often becoming a classic that stands the test of time. As a robotics undergraduate, I aspire to bring this philosophy into my field. Robotics isn't just about functionality or innovation-it's about designing experiences and solutions that leave a lasting impact. I want to recreate that level of impression through the systems and robots I build, ensuring they are not only efficient but also thoughtfully designed to inspire and connect with people for years to come."

Best router jig, yet! Wow 😍
Can you put some of the shorts you put on instagram here ?
can i be ur junior designer mr Alimp?
@@RenjanaGemilang-lh1gk I pay in lamps tho
Great product - thanks for your help with getting started - and also a very well made video! Thanks!
You'd look nice as a drawstring lamp
It's not counterintuitive that that video blew up compared to the others. There is a reason that ASMR is becoming so populair, and your video was a type of ASMR. There is literally nothing of tactile experiences left when it comes to everyday user electronics, clicking buttons, dials and so forth are replaced by digital screen wich do not even give any feedback anymore when touched. This craving to the tactile experience along with your well designed and organised product workshop in the background is what made it blow up. Also something to keep in mind when designing new products btw.
30 designs in 30 days, does that mean there is a new video every day for a month?
@@Ernzt8 only the short ones. Maybe 2-3 long ones overall
Artem, very nice video. Единственное не хватает работы со звуком, такое эхо портит общее впечатление от видео и ухудшает восприятие.
@@sekermakes спасибо. Да да, исправим, с каждым разом что нибудь будет лучше, аудио на очереди.
Artem, Thanks for the new video! Appreciate you sharing your experience in nice, down to earth way! keep it up!
Good video - would love to see more content. Just a tip: Rhodes portable Bluetooth mics are very high quality, have low noise and can also be attached to your camera to sync audio and video.
@@madr7014 thank you! I promise to improve it in the next video
@alimp_designs Yeah but anyways - not a big deal. At least to me
@alimp_designs Hey man, just came here to check, if you already continued your video series for the 30 lamps and noticed, that you didn't. Not here to complain but rather ask if everything is fine...? Don't know, what the reason is, but if you're lacking motivation: I am using your Workbench as an inspiration for my own now and started learning how to build speakers because of your inspiring videos. Thanks a lot for your good content.
@ hey man. Thank you, this made my day, but not because I lacked motivation, it’s because how cute and warm this comment is. I’m actually making instagram videos for all my lamps, there are gonna be 30 of them. And probably 3-4 TH-cam videos. They are still too hard to make in a day, plus renders for website, plus 3d models to sell, plus a short video for instagram. Thanks for caring, and good luck with your speakers project and workbench one! 🙌🏻 feel free to contact me on instagram, I’ll help out with whatever I can
@@alimp_designs ah okay, I don't have insta and didn't see that.. But then everything is fine haha glad to hear that. And thanks for the offer! :)
Great work, great product, great video. I'm in the middle right now of doing what you did. Deciding I wanted to make something and figuring out how to make it every step of the way on the fly. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and came across your video which re-inspired me to stick with it. Thank you so much for putting this out there and keep up the good work. I think you'll be a huge success if you keep doing this.
Very cool, thank you for walking us through it. I have subscribed, I like this kind of dry narration / presentation, as opposed to the over enthusiastic / fake approach many creators use to get more views.
@@lemonotype thank you. I’ve actually been on both sides and here’s why we over-edit, at the end of the day we need more views, you can get them with an exceptional idea, charisma or really nice packaging (at least in my genre), first and second is super rare, packaging though is logical and achievable with hard work, opposed to charisma that is not up to you and exceptional ideas are just hard to explore, so we are left with over-edited packaging.
@@alimp_designsit’s been shown time and time again that while charisma varies among people it is still just as much of a skill as anything else. You just don’t see anyone “practicing” or “working on it.” Which is a shame. Because in this case it is definitely as you say one of the 3 things that improves content. It may feel u comfortable to do the “TH-cam voice” or whatever, but there’s a reason it gets more views. It’s objectively more captivating and interesting to listen to. So don’t give up on improving on it. It’s just as logical as packaging. (I’m also a creator not on this account, so ik what you’re going through fs)
I like that there will be more content from you! been waiting for more
@@winpark3902 thanks 🙏🏻
Does the material deform due to heat when the lights work for a long time? Can you make a video where you test this?
@@nezih3057 just made a reel on instagram about it. Long story short, only incandescent bulbs deform it.
Nice to see your different prototypes, like the others, audio is sometimes bad. Also I think you should try to write a script maybe, of the thinks that you want to explain. Keep pushing man !!! Your job is great !
i am a new subscriber , your content is really good , i really love it and hope you keep up the good work man
Audio has too much echo and the video felt a little slow. But besides that I love your content and everything you're doing. Keep up the great work!
You could sell me an empty jar and I would still thank you and think it is genius. Love that your experimenting with different things. 🎉🎉🎉
Nice video, but the Audio is horrible the room is too empty.
Wouldn't really be an issue with a lav mic. But sure, a room with good acoustics and the typical overhead mic would be best.
Thank you for bringing back your own voice. I love your videos and you inspire me a lot! Remember, that you are also inspiring many kids from your own country to follow your example by keeping your voice.
@@yosriouni TH-cam is banned where I’m from, I moved to China (where it’s also banned😅), and I live here now. But hey, I’m glad I inspire you. Where are you from?
@@alimp_designs I lived in Tunisia, the Netherlands and now Switzerland. Russian kids can watch you from many places around the world. Keep it up man.
I rarely comment on anything, but this voiceover sucks, and the fact that you gave in to such a request disappoints. Please stick to your voice, and every aspect of what makes you who you are. I loved the other video and I respect so much your process and craftsmanship. I feel sorry that people think that a specific accent turns them off. If so, they are the ones missing out.
@@yosriouni if it did succeed, I’d free up a lot of my time, meaning that I could generate more content and develop everything faster. So I had to check if it succeeds. Unfortunately it didn’t. Now I keep struggling))
Great video.... interesting product & this is pn my purchase list... a litlke Christmas present to myself & add to my router accessories. Plan on using for some upcoming high end speaker builds
@@ianwalters3485 cool, good luck on your projects!
It's a really cool and versatile accessory, and it would be really nice to have it, although I find it hard to spend more on an accessory than on the tool itself.
thanks for this, just got mine can't wait to set it up
99.999% of these features can be created with some off cut woods…too much over engineering and wastefulness…🤦♂️
@@flamixin creating your own tools with scrap wood or whatever is important for any maker or engineer, but at some point you’ve got to get a professional tool. This is reliable, fast, comfortable to use, thoughtful and packs so much value in a single tool, how can you not see that? It’s like saying no to an iron hammer, because you can just bang a nail with a rock you found
@@alimp_designsbecause off cut wood are not comparable with rocks. They are reliable too if you know what are you doing. I am not a professional but a jig I made usually last me a decade…
@@flamixingood rock is very reliable too and will last a decade. But a thoughtful design and qualities of materials that are used in professional tools (like a hammer), is what you pay for. Same here. It’s actually similar to 3d printing, you can’t print everything, some things gotta be metal or injected in molds or something else, but I guess you are one of those who can print everything?
Then go make them and show us in your own video.
I agree, it's sad that metal is added for precision then it uses loosen and bump method of micro-adjusting. The guide rail test felt like it gave same or worse experience as just running it on guide rail edge.
You are a beast bro! Your content is truly inspiring!
Bro is inspired by Steve Jobs....and is on the way to become the new Steve Jobs!
Hi. Where does one download the router table insert adjustable fence you show in the video at 5:21?

@@ivpahomov спасибо. Повезло мне с ними, они золотые. Ни разу не пожаловались. Больше стараюсь не шуметь.
I've got one, read the manual, watched this video, but I still don't really understand how the ruler works on it. I guess after you set the slide you adjust the ruler to somewhere that's convenient and then use that as reference if you need to adjust the slide?
@@stephenrbrough yep, exactly 👍🏻
Great tutorial video for this wonderful tool. Thank you for sharing.

how much units you sell?
@@littleonestudio there are 100 overall
Bro! Thanks for sharing this! Is Rhino more difficult to learn compared to fusion 360? I work as a gaphic designr and want to learn cad and Blender but a bit intimidated with the softwares. This is soo inspiring!!
@@danpatrickdaduya8955 hey man. Thanks for the comment. TBH, I don’t know much about fusion 360, I like both blender and rhino, but if you had to focus on just one of them, I’d probably choose blender now, especially seeing their rapid development. And it’s free, rhino on the other hand is expensive
Can you put a video of the lamp from all angles and you walking us through the lamp on the website? After this video I was interested in potentially buying the lamp but I feel that I want more information first
What is the point, you just stylized a led strip with an obnoxiously large disk that does nothing
Thank you for your inspiration and lesson about the right steps in designing a genius product. Love it!
Backed this and the fit and finish of everything is amazing. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but I am looking forward to it. Great video explaining the features.
Thanks for sharing your journey, And great job!
