Update in late 2024: MK III and MK VI Command squads from Horus Heresy. And melee weapons, I guess? TBH HH MK VI Assault Squads are also nice and potentially closest thing we'll get to classic (4th ed metal) CSM Raptors.

I'm going to try something like this for some Aggressor Bodies I got Secondhand, but Heavy Flamers&PowerFists instead of the Boltstorm Gauntlets. Dunno what I'll so for their Backpacks since they didn't come with any Grabis Backpacks

Mine was very simple. I gave him the unique helmet and studded shoulder from the Black Templars Primaris upgrade sprue. Now I kind of wish I did more. At least give him a purity seal or something.

Awesome conversion! I'm planning on doing something similar with my Agressors, but I was going to use the Centurion heavy bolters for their underslung guns. Admittedly just because you get 6 per box which would make it way more cost efficient than the autocannons since I have had bad experiences trying to buy individual bits. Seeing these though, I might have to change it up.

Gods damn! They look so much better! The overall shape language is miles above the original version. The paint job also rocks to highlight their new look :O To me Agressors just look goofy, really not a fan of the hood and gloves are just unpleasantly weird, and you solved both! It pains me even more when they partly replace machine gun Devastators who were my favourite firstborn units

The mechadendrite kinda seems like it could be used by the phobos like a tail to provide more balance. The use of the red as an accent was definitely a good choice.

while i understand you wanting all of your guys to be the same scale i dont personally mind and actually have mixed firstborn, (DC, sang guard, tactical squad) heresy, (mk 6) chaos (legionaries, WE) and primaris bits onto different marines. ive learned through this that the shin bits of mst marines are very closely aligned (firstborn bits need a little bit extra on the knee to fit on primaris thighs and primaris knees are good for forward stepping poses as they are just that little bit larger, the torsos can be filed into place and dont look off though they do leave small gaps and primaris arms take firstborn forearms/wrists really well) and honestly its diversified my army so much that i cant beleive how easy it actually is to do

I really like how this turned out. The gun arm modification was basically a series of heart attacks to watch lol, but the end result is good! I think it works for me because it's one handed, so it's representing two guns. Crucially, it also overcomes the problem of "punching with your gun will probably break it" by *leaving a free hand for punching*. If you're unsure about the conversion, I watched an Aggressor conversion that use the Inceptor bolter arms with half a chainsword mounted below the barrel as a bayonet, and - having tried it myself - can confirm that it works well. It does make the model read as having a less "heavy weapon." On the other hand, I really wanna do this for my next Aggressors - just to make the squads fistinct.
