I've really been on this kick for different verdigris colors lately. I hadn't seen that Troublemaker Copper Patina one yet. Looks spot on for a great verdigris color. I'm going to have to seek that one out.

So much good stuff in this video: I love that you found IT, your perfect signature ink in the Troublemaker, copper patina-what a match! My heart is so happy when I find the thing, IT, that one you look and look for. I found IT in my Aterliers Penelope pouch--I’ve wanted the right pouch since I bought my first TN, 2016!!! Seeing the actual reeds blowing adds to your great video. Also, Did you just use brown elastic around your TN? It looks great.

FYI, Chalk ink and pigment does not bleed thru Tomoe River paper the way dye ink does.

Wow! Those sensory stickers are really pretty. They look made just for you. And I love the fairy light idea…! I could see myself getting distracted with that.

I've done this with a lot of my small cling stamps. I had gotten the idea after I purchased a gallon baggie of random wooden pieces from a resale shop. In the bag they also had ones with a hole drilled in. I used those for some number stamps and put a piece of jute twine to hang it. I keep those sets together by hanging them on a loose leaf binder rings. Then the whole set hangs off a chain fitted with S hooks on my wall. That wind was insane!!

What a great idea! Now I have to find some block over here in the UK.

I like wood block stamps so much better than the little plastic ones! Great solution. And that wind was wild!!!

I just use the Sailor Hocoro dip pens with the optional feed (they come with the Fude one but not the fine or mediums). They are a normal Sailor steel nib and with the feed so it works pretty much just like a fountain pen and you can get in a sentence without having to redip. They clean out sooooo easy with a swish in water so great for multi-swatching :)

Thank you for this thought provoking video. Over the last year (April 2024-Dec2024), I had set myself the challenge of using most of the fountain pens (over 110) and inks (bottles (over 90) in my collection. It is through this challenge that I rediscovered many wonderful pens and inks and better understand the potential ( with nib work, or to donate or to sell) for those currently not so perfect pens/inks for me. I my case, it was a great way to fall back in love with what I have and be more intentional about what gets added to my collection.

I love what you did with the flower patches!❤ Great idea! I also found good old BIC ballpoint pens are reliable. They'll write on almost any paper surface. I also like Energels (Pentel?), but they can smear on very smooth paper.

İ think the burnout of the fountain pen hobby has nothing to do with the doing and loving of the hobby, but the over consumption of purchasing and media...

Absolutely LOVE the tip about the pen holder!!! You nailed the whole reason why I haven't been using them.

not that i'm glad you also had trouble with the coccoina glue but i do feel vindicated haha - felt like I was the only one who had a problem with it!

This was a great favorites video! I love that you always keep it real and honest with products you like or don’t like. The pen loop trick was awesome for my journal setup over the summer. Now I need some of that document repair tape!

I think I have the same transparent sticky note pads from Mr. Pen. Everything I have tried smears. I have not tried a BIC. Thank you for that info!

Your ink selections are perfect for November. The DeAtramentis Brown has a nice sheen or shimmer to it where it pooled. The sepia has some interesting depth of color in the swatch and the maroon is so rich and saturated looking. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
