I agree! When I got it in person, the color disappointed me. It's much more yellow. It's the same color as the Lamy safari cream pen. It was gifted to me but I kind of wish I'd gotten the white instead.

I get what you are seeing. It looks like old plastic that’s turned yellow with age. It’s an opinion and I love my Twisby pens, they’re my favorite go to pen, I’m just not into that color.

However I decided to check out a review first, because I was disappointed last month after receiving the Indigo with Bronze trim. The Indigo blue turned out to be quite different from the photo, just as your Creme is different from the photo. Thank you very much - I feel like you’ve saved me from making the same mistake twice. 🙏🏼 💐Happy New Year to you as well.

Thanks for your video, haven’t see that finish before and it’s a stunner, the cream yellowish cap, the finial and the rose gold hardware combo is amazing. Very 70s indeed. Might get one.
If its the 70's retro vibe you're looking for , cool , then you will like it ! My problem was that the color of the cap was misrepresented in all of the media posts for the pen ( which was NOT the vibe I was going for ) and of course the problem with the return policy ~

Oh that’s disappointing for you, especially with the extra price for the gold trim, which I cannot being myself to buy! Anyway, a comment on not being able to return, did you use Amex cc? Some Amex cards offer return protection for 90 days. They will refund your charge if you cannot return. As for the store, I bet i can guess. does it start with “G”? End with “T”. Hahaha. I have heard some things about that store. Just guessing.
I didn't use Amex ( but good to remember ) . I will either sell it or swap out the nib for another eco , it's still a great nib . As for the store it was not G....T and having purchased from many of the pen distributers there are I have never had any issues whatsoever with orders or customer service . I've only ever had positive experiences . My tip is read through a stores return policy very carefully before purchasing from them . Thanks for watching and commenting !!
no, I don't plan to get the cream one. I am waiting for some interesting colors and haven't seen any lately. Hoping for a "clear" one maybe in an Amber color. And also hoping for something in pink. The colors haven't been the best lately, but I love TWSBI and will get more, when they start picking some better colors. Kind of disappointed. Also, I love the Kaweco, but the colors lately haven't been the best either.
Too many great pen stores out there offer excellent return policies not to shop there rather than at a shop that does not offer immediate returns and refunds. I can only speculate that perhaps they wouldn’t let you return the pen because you’d inked it (?).
This is a popular shop in the pen community . The return policy on this one particular pen was buried deep ( 3 pages in / and vague at best ) I had NOT inked it .They wouldn’t take it back because the tape was removed from the end of the box . There was no way for me to see the pen unless I unsealed the box . They have no problem in accepting pens that cost hundreds of dollars / just this brand in particular .
I'm glad you are happy with your purchase. We all have different tastes , and this has nothing to do with that but how it was (deceptively ) advertised. I said what I said . Thanks for watching ~

For the record , I love the pen despite this, it's a great pen , proving two things can be simultaneously true and also not everything as as you see it on the internet . I went to multiple online shops , IG posts on computer , tablets , my phone and I saw the same pen shown "I'm assuming with filters" as a soft creamy off-white pen. It's not at all what showed up at my door . I've never had this problem with any other pens purchased before which made me call out the pen and company for their advertising . Buyer beware ~
