That leather on the standard size cover you pulled out looks so yummy! The set up in your new swatch journal is fantastic. It's user friendly and aesthetic. Which makes it more enjoyable to log, and much easier to reference. Thanks for sharing!
I loved your opening “you didn’t know company was coming!” lol. I worked 2 hours in my studio last night, now I can mess it up again. Your logging is fantastic. I do the same with color and I also do by brand. It really helps me hold back on the buying, when I see the colors I already have. I am going to go thru the video again and write down names of some for samples-samples are okay, right? 😂
Yellow inks are notoriously difficult to read on paper . This ink is Diamine Golden Sands . Here is the link to another video of mine that shows me swatching it , hope that helps 💛 th-cam.com/video/3QZBnRhBP7s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1OIJFtjjnyNYMe_4
This is really a good idea for easy color comparison!
I think a mess on the desk means a creative mind is at work! ☺️

Thanks !! That journal cover is the waypoint leather from Chic Sparrow .
@@SouthShorePaper ah, that explains why I liked it. Their waypoint has always been a favorite of mine.
Love the large size of your swatches. It really allows for greater comparisons.

What a beautiful table!
Thanks Hana , I had it custom made from a slab of wood and it was actually cheaper than buying something in the stores !
@@SouthShorePaper that's amazing!
Which yellow ink did you use on your index page? The depth of shading is quite interesting. I've been looking for some yellow inks to try.
