@SparksofJoyStudio We had a huge home when our 3 girls were growing up. They each had one in their rooms, 1 sitting room, 1 in dining room, one in living room, 2 on front porch and one in master bedroom. Wow, that tried me out just thinking about it. Don't know how I did all that with 3 girls. Now, I can barely get one up, lol. It's amazing what you could manage when younger😉
@@terriallen2537 I love this so so much!!! My daughter has her own tree in her room when she was 2. It was about her height and she loved putting all the disney-themed ornaments on it. You might have inspired me!!! :)
Fun projects! You mentioned being nervous about stenciling. Something that helps me is using a decoupage medium first. If you use one with a gloss it will make your items that you stenciled look raised. You can also paint a layer of paint of the same color of your background, let that dry then use your stencil color.
Hi Natalie, the gingerbread people are certainly tricky to paint! I ended up using a toothpick for all the small details - it's worth a try! ❤️ from Australia 🦘
I love the family snuggle!! I started doing the gingerbread theme last year and I didn't want to take my decor down after Christmas!! Its all so beautiful, the bright reds and glistening white is Christmas to me. I bought the gingerbread molds a couple of months ago and already have some castings made just waiting for ideas so thank you for so many great ones! Also, I didn't know you could use paint on the iod stamps. That's awesome!!
Thank you so much! I’m so so happy that you not only found inspiration but also some new information. Yes! Once you are done stamping using the paint, just rinse the stamp under warm water. No soap or anything else. 🤗
I love the Oh Snap plate❤️and definitely the family snuggle sign!! I like how you use the paint for the stamps. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m going to for all my IOD projects this year.
Hi there! I absolutely love your ornaments, they are adorable and very unique🎉 I think there my fav with the gingerbread wood plank coming in 2nd! I have that stencil set and love it! I too get very nervous about it. My best results so far have been with permanent ink! For me it’s very challenging to use acrylic or chalk paint, some turn out, others have bleed through 😢 I try to save those and distress them. Thanks for all the inspiration! Jeanne Baton Rouge 21:52
