Ecology and Democracy: Growing Roots for Civic Engagement
The Georgetown University Center on Faith and Justice and the Earth Commons hosted a timely conversation on the intersection of ecology and democracy. In this election year, the political fabric of the United States is fraying; so, too, is the ecological web of life that holds all human activity. This conversation explored the spiritual/value-driven roots of these interconnected crises and will help us imagine possibilities for just responses.

Remember, Christian nationalist is not the same thing as a "white Christian nationalist." White Christian nationalist is a title made up by the left to jam Christians in their thinking by guilt.

You've blown up the last seven mansions with your nonsensical gods and your silly beliefs thinking that you can spin it one way and they can spin it a different you were supposed to take care of one another so that together you could take care of the garden that takes care of you that's all you ever had to do folks you didn't need religion you didn't need money you didn't need anything everything on this world and in this garden is free to you you all wished to worship money which Jesus told you not to do there are no Christians in the garden on Earth

And now you're on this mansion in this garden do you even understand that children. And you think you know everything about daddy and the father and the son you don't know nothing about anything that goes on your head is too far up some false God's butthole to understand anything you blew up your last home and you're getting ready to burn this one to the ground and blow this one upthat's what you children do that's why you're all following the wide path to destruction I guess you never got that memo out of your Bible either did you

All you folks out there we only had two jobs as humans. Take care of one another so that together we could take care of the garden that takes care of all of us what is wrong with the garden if we did what Jesus told us to do let's see we pollute our own water we pollute our own are we pollute our own food and we listen to a bunch of false prophets because our heads are so far up some fake God's butthole that we actually have planks in our eyes and dung in our ear. Show me pretty much failed at being a Christian right I mean Jesus gave us the layout and the area in which to work and everybody just threw that away and worship money rose up a religion that he told us not to do and Bill capitalism not the kingdom here on Earth as it used to be in the heavens we literally did every single thing that Jesus said not to do. So explain to me where is any Christian in the garden that is burning down around all of us that this man or any of you talk about because you're all lying to yourself if you think you're a Christian

You know who the most powerful people that I've ever met in my lifetime that showed me that they could be Christian it would be the atheist community all over this planet they're the ones that show compassion they're the ones that understand what Jesus said they're the ones that actually practice what he said and put it into use everyone else is against them so what makes them the evil people and you the good people. You all follow an evil God you certainly don't follow Jesus. And then you say all the atheists in the gays and the people that actually care about other people the ones that actually do what Jesus said to do they're the evil ones so what does that make all you folks that makes you the evil that you are most afraid of every single one of you. You are literally the evil that you are most afraid of no one else no fictitious gods no fictitious devils you are the evil you are all most afraid of and yet you say it's all of the people like me everyone that doesn't think like you everyone that doesn't listen to your nonsense they're the evil no folks you have it all backwards you are the eviland that is why you always claim someone else to be evil because evil takes no responsibility for its own actions

Christian nationalism is a made up ideology. The reason Christian’s are becoming so political is because our politicians are unable to solve any problems. The biggest problem in America is the rise of multi-national corporations that are not subject to the constitution.

F*ck Christianity. How about simply being a good and decent person who respects all life despite our differences? This isn’t difficult, folks. Striving to be the best version of yourself should be the goal. Why people are so obsessed with the Christian label is beyond me. Failing to live a life that resembles that of Jesus is all you need to know. You don’t need a church or the label of Christianity to do that. The labels mean nothing if you can’t live the life. No one has an upper hand here. It’s okay to be imperfect.

I am a Christian. Not everyone who names the name of Christ is a Christan. And not every church, organization, movement and individual who calls themselves Christian is. This is not a movement of Christ. The greatest hallmark of a Christian is love, as it is defined in 1 Corinthians 13. Another is humility. Christian Nationalism is a political movement veiled in the cloak of Christianity that wreaks of pride and hypocracy. It directly opposes the teachings of Jesus Christ Himself. Christian Nationalists appear to be more interested in fueling their own agenda rather than Christ's agenda -- the Great Commission. When Jesus returns, He will then set up His Kingdom on earth. A holy nation. Christ will accomplish this Himself.
