Here I am showcasing some of my postwar Lionel 2046 steamer engines from 1951 hauling freight. One engine is hauling two box cars and a coal car. The other is hauling five log cars.

Nice Layout 😊, Thanks for Sharing !😊
Damn it's noisy. I LOVE THAT!!!!!
beautiful
Beautiful
I love it!
Nice mid-day commuter train! :-)
Beautiful layout!
ME LIKEM!
Very nice, two!
No matter how long the train is, 2 units or more is the best
Nice you have two !
Great video keep it up!
This is the layout with a very interesting track design. I like it. A big change from watching loops and circles one dimensional layouts. Your trains actually go on a journey.😊
The 2333 and the 2343 are the best looking F3’s Lionel ever made!!!!
Nice Santa Fe run session. 💯
Thanks 👍
Astounding!
So nice
"Every Which Way But Loose"...
The highest point is 5 and a half inches.
I'm guessing you accelerated your train as you went up the incline. Do you know what is the height of your tallest section of your raised track. I also have limited space and would like to do an incline, but many say I need a 2% grade and I don't have enough room for that, but it seems you can do short run inclines just fine. I'm guessing you have something like 4% incline. - Anyway, thanks for sharing!
I believe the “A” section of the graduated trestle set is 4 1/2” or 5” clearance.
This is a repost of a video I accidentally deleted a few weeks ago.
maintenance is part of the fun. proper lubrication, the condition of the motor, brushes, dirt all issues. sometimes magnetraction weakens over decades, i'm sure you know all this and hope you left him a few comments...not too snarky.
Super. Hello from the Tracy Mountain Railway in Colorado. 💙 T.E.N.
Thank you for watching!
Love the layout1 I inherited a 1953 set with the same engine, 2046. Your video is inspiring to say the least.
Thank you! They are fantastic engines!
Very nicely done! Geeat set up!
Thank you!
Many people don't realize that Post war cars need to have the wheels lubed to make them spin freely and roll great. Great Video!
Trains. What memories.
Slow the **** down!
It won't fall off the track.
A B&O engineer friend said the first time he ran Budd Cars there were TWELVE coupled together...
Very nice.
I love those 736 Berkshires. 💯
Aunt Minnie jumped off at the stop station.
Shoee, I spotted me Aunt Minnie on that there last Pullman. I hear tell the folks back home say she aint been seen since 43.
fun video
Beautiful running session David! I love the Pennsylvania, GP7! I’m still on the hunt for a few of the GP7’s. I hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving! 💯😉
Thank you! They are really great engines!
@@davidwilk5160This is so true. I love locking them in the forward position and adding multiple GP7’s GP9’s. This way they can really pull 15-20 cars with ease.
David there’s nothing better than watching postwar trains! Outstanding my friend! 💯❤️😊
Thanks
Real cool stuff tonight thanks for sharing this video.
Thanks for watching!
Great vidio, like the old cars . Thanks for the morning coffee...
Thanks! I love running my postwar passenger cars too.
Berkshire is probably the best postwar Steam engine Lionel made, excellent layout and collection David!
I think they are so great that's probably why I have 6 of them.
@davidwilk5160 Wow!
Thanks
Great running session David!
Thank you
Another enjoyable train run. Love those passenger cars!
Thanks!
Beautiful train! I'm surprised you didn't throw a baggage and a diner in the consist!
That's what I call an O guage layout !
fun
Nice video! Enjoyed watching this smooth running engine make its way around your layout.
fun
fun layout
Classic Lionel fun. Nice job.
Love the 44 tonners!! 👍
I received one of them for Christmas in 1956. Still runs perfectly.
@@davidwilk5160Do they have dual motors? That just shows you that the postwar years were the best. That’s my favorite to collect David! 👍
@TwistedMacGyversTrains no just one motor
