My next game will be like that. This one sadly didn’t sell very well so outside bug fixes and a ps5 release it likely won’t be getting live service updates unless things change sales wise.

I have the 2023 MacBook Pro M3 pro with 18gb of ram I think. Usually when that happens to me I had too many auto saves happen but if it doesn’t then you might be using too many meshes for the scene. This scene is comprised of about 20-30 different meshes with heavy use of Instancing.

@@KomodoBitGames do you choose instances for your materials and also for your assets ? I checked out my stats in Unreal and then looked at the texture stats which show how much gpu they need. I heard you can increase that streaming pool size.. but this only makes sense if my "graphics card" can handle that. However I can't find information about the mib amount/ vram which my gpu cernels can handle. I didn't hear about the autosaves thingy yet.

@@its3amagain. the texture streaming pool size is only a default setting so you can bump this up as you need. Also best to optimise your textures with channel packing as well as frugal and efficient use of texture resolution
