I totally relate to your message. I am 62 with 6 kids and 6 grandkids. I used to be a Cali beach bum. But, I have been overweight since my first baby. But, I absolutely love being a mom & grandma!! Weight, stretch marks and all!! Outward beauty fades, we age, our bodies fail. But, our hearts grow stronger for the Lord!!💗 It's easy to get intimidated... especially when the world pushes youth and beauty. And our husbands are exposed to it too!! But, I want my Abba's love and approval more than anything!!🤍 Here are 2 more verses to add to your list... My life verse... Romans 12:1~2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God - this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will. I've been down on my looks becuz of weight gain for a long time. It's so hard to put your worth in that & I've been doing the same thing as you. It's all vanity in this world, which makes it that much harder for women. But putting beauty into a different mindset is a must. Such a great lesson. P.S. You're beautiful inside & outside forever!!

There are some moments where I look at my own face and feel inadequate. There are little blemishes and flaws that aren't perfect according to worldly definition, but it would be DEVASTATING to say I'm not good enough. And yet I do. I have to keep telling myself that God created me with loving hands, and his creation is beautiful. 🥺❤️

Your paper looks very thin? Could you tell me which one you used? I imagine using normal copy or college block paper would make the Bible very bulky. Thanks for the lovely video. So far I am using a notebook for Bible journaling so I can add an index at the end. But I really want to try your method as well. ❤

I also love reading my Bible's and taking notes I have a world Bible school study edition journaling Bible and a catholic life Bible as well can I write in them with a regular pencil or a bic round stic pen 🖊 ❤

I've never been a fan of adding paper to my Bible but I definitely use stickers and stuff like that so my Bible that you can get it Dollar tree I found a large print Bible that I can read and I'm currently trying to journal in it and it's working out really great yes I don't have any room to journal except for on top of the scripture I also have bought two small compact child's Bibles and I take one of them with me to and from work and I also journal on top of them and I also include a magnifier to see the print

I have ms and have such a hard time with remembering what I have read …. My ms is mostly cognitive at this point … this has been such a useful video for me! I was trying to read the Bible earlier but no matter how hard I tried I could not remember what I read. This is literally an answered prayer. God bless and thank you.

I love your bible journal I defined need to get something like that

I’ve thought (recently) about inserting papers into my Bible. One of my Bibles has so many penned notes (2005) that I ended up adding tiny see through stickies and regular stickies all over the page. I like your idea. I copy chapters of the Bible quite often. It really does help with learning and being blessed by the Word. I copy Greek and Hebrew words and define English too. Even common everyday words, all in journals. It really helps. A good dictionary is Webster’s 1828 dictionary. Especially the hardback but it’s $$. It’s on line in an abbreviated form so that’s great to have. Many words have been butchered so much and we’ve lost touch with their simplest meaning. Anyway … I’m going to see what I can do with your idea. I have two Bibles I deliberate over using. Which keeps me from actually doing this 😂. Crazy I know! Thanks for sharing this. I never would’ve thought to glue the very edge of the paper! ❤

I take surmon notes and glue them into my bible, same with my bible study notes. I do small sheets with stickers, washi tape, drawing, watercolor. It helps me remember and understand what was discussed, clarified and explained. Thank you for sharing everyone should be diving deep into their Bibles, and this is a wonderful way to do it.
