I just got the kit, and I haven't touched my underarms in more than two years. I'm kind of terrified, but I'm thinking I'll take some clippers or scissors and cut the hair first lol. And girl, my pits look like a man's right now. Yours weren't bad at all.

I think this may be the best build I've seen / simple design and you didn't tear out the back seats - plenty room for storage under the platform and easily removable - I am in the planning stages of building out our 2016 Roo Forester - your vid was great - THANKS - sub left and good luck -

I actually car camped in my 20 year old Subaru Baja for the first time last year. We did Michigan, Illinois and Missouri. I had to give her up this spring. I’m now looking at a replacement. I haven’t settled on which yet. Anyone here have advice on whether to get a Forester, Crosstrek or Ascent.

I don't understand how the two big boards are connected. Look like they are connected by a black piano hinge, but how does that work if you want your back seats up?

love it. mine will be similar but one of my platforms will be cut in half so i can remove it if i want and be able to pull up one rear seat while keeping the bigger one down so i can still sleep with one seat up when by myself

What model Subaru is this ?

Great work but I would love to see how you built the first panel where it joined to the second panel that had hinges so the first panel has no hinges but what is it resting on? 👍🏼

Great job with the platform. So, my only thing here is accessibility. For the most part you need to open one of the doors or rear hatch to access your storage. To solve this you can cut hatches into the platform either using hinges or just tabs to hold the covers in place.

New to your channel and loving your setup. Such a simple yet useful built. Question... and I've been wondering a while now after seeing so many people adding a platform in the trunk... If the case of a flat tire, would you basically have to empty out the entire setup, possibly on the side of a busy road/freeway, in order to get to the spare? Sorry to be such a naysayer...

I have a Forester and though I have no travel plans, short camping trips would be fun. I live vicariously through videos like these. I live in Utah and camping in the national parks here in the back like my niece has done in her outback would be nice!

You're supposed to flick with the wrist. You're pulling it up. That will hurt more and the wax will stick. Also it hurts more coz the hair is longer. You're supposed to let the wax sit on your skin for at least 10 seconds before u spread. Gives the wax time to heat up with ur body and work better

Suggestion: because it’s a sugar wax, if the hair is too long it will hurt more!!! About quarter of an inch is the perfect length for sugar waxing, it should hurt much less when applying since it won’t pull the hair nearly as much, and be much easier to wax if your hair is a bit shorter (1/4-1/3 inch) other than that you did pretty good!!
