Cerebral Possessor Chapter 5 route improvements (Turok 3, N64).
If you crouch, the targeting with the Cerebral Possessor becomes a lot more lenient, allowing you to target enemies from angles not normally possible. Additionally, after regaining control of the character, you can push jump shortly afterwards during "coyote time" to get a free jump. This allows for some additional optimisations and skips.
Skipping the Central Nexus elevator ride is quicker by crouch targeting the enemy on the higher ledge. As an added bonus, you don't need to jump over the lava if you position yourself correctly, although it might be beneficial to do so anyway.
Crossing the lava gap in Staging Area is pretty tight and since the speed and trajectory of the bore projectile is RNG dependant, it is fairly inconsistent. Luckily, if you err on the safe side of the jump, you can land on a lower ledge and use the second enemy in the area for an additional boost up top in case you happen to fall there. Also, it is possible to go the entire distance without having to elevate the enemy higher, but the trick is even tighter like that.
Skipping the small elevator in the penultimate area is nice and easy, as is getting up to the corridor leading to Oblivion.
Doing the final area switchless is inconsistent due to bore projectile speed and failure spells doom.
Not depicted in the video, at the first area (after the portal) of the chapter, instead of climbing up a ladder with the controlled enemy you can use the diagonal metal beams to gain the required elevation.

Turok 3 Remastered (PS4), mid-air jump.
มุมมอง 1592 หลายเดือนก่อน
More things change more they stay the same, turns out the remastered version still gives you coyote time after regaining control of player character, which allows for some further trickery. Holding the weapon wheel active as you're about to possess an enemy allows you to carry the slo-mo over, which helps with the timing of the mid-air jumps quite a bit. There are several spots in this game whe...
Turok 3 Remastered (PS4), some PSG / Cerebral Possessor stuff.
มุมมอง 432 หลายเดือนก่อน
A lot of this is useless or for niche applications only. Shocking, I know. Nightdive Studios did a great good fixing the Cerebral Possessor, but there's still some stuff you can do with it. The player character model is generally speaking invulnerable while possessing an enemy, so you can avoid fall damage by strategically tagging an enemy mid-fall. The player model will also ignore triggers wh...
Chapter 4 Bridge Skip (Turok 3, N64).
มุมมอง 682 หลายเดือนก่อน
Slow, precise and inconsistent, exactly how I like my skips. Very likely, and thankfully, useless, since there are quicker ways to progress through the section. This also requires you to pick up the Sceptre from the previous area, since you need to insert it into the pyramid to spawn the enemies in the main area. Maybe there's a more consistent setup available somewhere but I could not find one :)

IMPROVEMENTS! th-cam.com/video/bIUzjQIAoL4/w-d-xo.html The Cerebral Possessor is a cool weapon. Once you tag an enemy with the projectile, you can control that enemy for a brief period of time, after which they explode and you regain control of your character However, it is also a very glitchy weapon, and when you regain control of the character, the Y-position of the enemy is used instead, if ...
FFXIV: T9S MINE Clear

100 tomestones. Not a perfect clear, but we worked hard for it and got it done! Un-mic'd party with Discord for some organising. Big thanks to Praos for helming this and everybody else for showing up week after week. Special shoutouts to Kajacx Naeuri, a mainstay for sessions prior to the completion and a big help for us getting this done despite not being there for the clear. Yes, I am mashing...
Quake II: Call of the Machine - Operation Wasteland in 03:43:875

Zero standards for this "speedrun", just wanted to document the strategy so any completion was fine. The door that prevents you from leaving after entering the Power Cube room can be kept open by the enemies. Very inconsistent, just tried my best to make a pile of them in there and crossed my fingers. Once you grab the cube, you can just complete the level since the ending is right there. Playe...

Played with Zambabee. Co-op -only route, respawning on a teammate after getting the Power Cube skips the entire level. PS4 Pro (me) / PS5 (Zambabee).

Mostly just a route demonstration, although this was somewhat competently played as well I suppose. Played on PS4 Pro. You can ride a Flyer to skip to the top of the tower in the first area and immediately unlock level win condition. The CD doesn't matter. Flyers spawn after activating the first bridge towards the water drain. I kind of go through the pump room bridge area twice (could use the ...

Terrible run, just uploaded it as a route demonstration. Played on a PS4 Pro. It's currently not possible to jump straight into the window to fetch the red key, since there's an invisible barrier blockading it until the area is refreshed through the other door. Once the area is reloaded via that door, it's possible to climb in and go straight for the finish. The Flyer is used to boost up on top...

Sort of a gimmicky challenge, but it's kinda interesting you can do this. Convict is the best option for this since she starts with a Molotov, which can be used to crack the egg in the starting room. This allows you to actually snatch one extra item off the Rainbow chest, so technically you can get any gun / item you want, provided you get lucky. Rainbow mode was used mainly just to get the egg...
Outer Wilds - Shuttle launch into Sun Station.
มุมมอง 32K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Couldn't find a video of someone "landing" this, so why not. I do not believe it is possible to initiate landing sequence onto Sun Station, so bailing inside is the nearest alternative. The launch window used is around 6:06 of in-game time using the Ember Twin shuttle, I used a setup with a corner inside the shuttle and the signalscope to get a more accurate launch timing. The first pass will m...
Infernax - Skipping an Urzon Citadel key.
มุมมอง 2392 ปีที่แล้ว
You can clip inside blocks by performing a Holy Charge at the very corner pixel of any block. Doing this at Urzon Citadel allows you to bypass one key door. Inputs: - ready Holy Charge (hold attack) - drop though the semi-solid (down jump) - release Holy Charge (release attack) Timing is extremely precise. If you hit the wall but don't clip, your release was a bit early. If you hit the side of ...
Infernax - Infinite money / evil allegiance glitch.
มุมมอง 2822 ปีที่แล้ว
The chest inside the church at Darsov can be opened during night time an infinite number of times for unlimited money. If you open the chest even once during day time, it will stay open. Opening the chest will shift your allegiance towards "evil" each time you open it. Tested on PS4, game version 1.01.011. That's it, that's all there is to it. This glitched is currently patched as of 1.02.

- After picking up the Power Bomb, face the door on the right. - When the pirate hops over the beam, shoot, keep charging, turn around. - After you get hit, pause once, and release all buttons. - Crouch, go right. You have to hit the pirate with a not-fully-charged -Shot. Full-charge will kill him! You need to freeze the pirate to get the push through the door. Shoutouts to Dragonfangs for the ...

one of my best childhood games
Holy shit dude
The developers clearly wanted to crack down hard on shinespark exploits for this game.
"No luck"? Is it the opposite mode, Luck Up?
2:44 Samus: "Look at me. I am the Mother Brain now."
I did some of these as a kid
How TF did you calculate this insane trajectory
Ocelot: “He just jumped off a three story ledge…and now he’s…I’ve got nothing.” Kaz: “Me neither.”
I love cool new tech
dude this is a sick way to get hotshot
How did you get 20 levels? I always get 5
The amount of levels depends on the amount of "kills" you get off the damage glitch. To maximise that amount, you want Talos to die as early as possible during the attack, so the remaining attack frames can all add another "kill". In the video, if the first Fairy damage stack had killed Talos, I would have gotten a lot fewer levels. Of course, the level of your character also matters, since in the end you're just getting a boatload of EXP here. The amount of EXP required to level up gets higher along with your character level, and there is an effective level softcap at 50, at which point the EXP required skyrockets. It's still possible to level beyond that point, just exponentially slower.
Well that’s one way to melt the ice on the shuttle
This is one of the most incredible things I've ever seen
Eat your heart out Feldspar
I'm curious if the shuttle's third toggle would allow you to dock, or if it would beeline for the sun...
Zero Mission is so well made that finding glitches is as hard as getting Animal Well to lag.
Finding actually useful glitches in MZM is like finding honest politicians; it's nearly impossible. Just about every trick or shortcut in the game is there by design and was fully intended.
Now do that but with Solanum’s shuttle
Wow 😮 just WOW.😮
@0:29 best game over scene @2:13 that is pure genius, I will true that out next time. @3:41 another nice game over scene. Thanks for the upload!
"You might be cool, but are you this cool" ahh moment
The thumbnail says this is Super Metroid😭😭😭
how actually the hell do u backdash like that fast
It's a glitch, generally referred to as a "whip launch" IIRC. It's been a while since I've played this, but to execute this I think you 1. tap away from the ledge 2. dash to slide off the ledge 3. whip! And if you timed it right, that's what happens. So, in this video the inputs are LEFT, R, B, all short taps.
first time im seeing someone actualy peform this glitch other than a modified speedrun TAS
bro is nomai
At first i was like "holy shit they're gonna line up the ember twins and line up the trajectory" but holy shit i didn't expect you to recall the nomai ship and take that, bravo my fellow hearthian, bravo
This kind of makes sense considering the blocky nature of tourian, and slopes being metroids
i wonder if landing the shuttle itself onto the sun station platform would be possible
POV: she took a pitstop at SR388
you're a wild pilot you are
Fake and ghay
Description clearly states it's a TAS
Spider ball pirated
Idk whether NASA should hire you or blacklist you.
I wasted so much time on trying to get that one missile in addition to the ones on the left side of Ridley. You made this look flawless and easy.
Now this is impressive! How long did it take you to figure out the precise timing to launch the shuttle?
I don't remember how long it took, several hours though. The Sun Station wasn't the only target I was looking at when messing around with the launch timings.
2:53 I still don't understand what I'm seeing here. Can someone explain?
Yeah it isn't very clear, maybe I could've gotten a better clip of this. Basically, normally you're locked into that zipline activation -mechanism once you enter, but I used a critter to damage boost Samus out of there to allow her to move around freely. Once the zipline gets activated, the game instantly forces Samus back into morphball mode, which is what happens after I collect the E-tank.
"The problem isn't that complex." The problem:
just casually raising
On my recommended, couldn't be happier
The Computer: "How the heck she restored Spider Ball?! This ability got trashed a long time ago!"
what is this power
I’m laughing so hard I’m in as much pain as the both them lol
"bro, did you hear something?" "...YOU LITTLE SHIT."
Is nobody gonna mention the timestamps titles?
What titles
What timestamps
@@amethyst137_ It's been almost a year since i commented this I remember there was timestamps titles that seemed off Can't remember what they were
xD
This would actually help alot in hard mode, if you 100% it of course
Holy shit
bob? whats bob
Bob is the nickname for this normally un-skippable missile tank, it's been referred to that by the speedrunning community for well over a decade at least. Not entirely sure about the exact origins but it may have been coined by the speedrunner JaggerG.
