This is pretty impressive, but it's easier if you just destroy the speed block wall on the left, as that gives you just enough room to activate Speed Booster before the blocks you'd normally shoot. All you have to do then is time the Missile to break the Missile block and hit the stupid 3 frame window for the jump
Even if you destroy the speed block wall on the left and use all that runway, the booster won't activate until slightly before the second batch of blocks. The first set of blocks is the big issue for waveless. Is there something I'm missing or misunderstanding?
I know your comment is seven years old, so you may well already know this, but I figured I'd say it anyway. The route is simply not to collect Wave Beam. Coming out of the area where you get Ice Beam, there's a missile block in the right wall that lets you drop down and go to the grub that blocks Ridley, without having to get High Jump, Varia Suit, Speed Booster or Wave Beam.
Shortcut to Ridley, I may upload it soon to my channel (though it'll be in Spanish), but I'll explain how it works. In the upper right room in Norfair, which is the last room you pass through after getting the Ice Beam, there's a Missile Block right in the upper right corner, for hitting it, just stand on the breakable floor without falling through it, turn on the missiles, aim diagonally up, and ready, all you have to do is to do some precise wall jumps because you're supposed to have the Space Jump for this. If you do it all correctly, you'll be on the room before Ridley, and yeah, because of the low amount of missiles you have, you'll depend on the spores of the Mini-boss. And finally, Imago is way harder without the Speed Booster. That's it, if you did it all correctly, you'll now be on Ridley, which doesn't require Wave Beam or anything you get in Norfair. The hard part is the insane amount of damage can deal without the Varia Suit (and with just a few Energy Tanks)
I wasted so much time on trying to get that one missile in addition to the ones on the left side of Ridley. You made this look flawless and easy.
"The problem isn't that complex."
The problem:
Very impressive 👏

I haven't been able to find anything through Google. What would the routing for Late Wave be?
Too late to awnser the question?
