By way of comparison driving from west Cornwall to Dover / Calais to Athens in Greece in a Citroen 1.9D self converted tiny camper van it cost me for the 2,000 miles trip one way about £350 but having said that I did set the satnav to avoid all toll roads which would have cost me about £300 extra. Since there is only about 350 miles difference I figured it would be more economical and nicer to avoid the toll roads and take the more scenic route. MPG was about 38mpg at a steady 62mph. The trip took about 6 days.

My partner and I were at Hotnitsa falls in July. A friend took us there while we were house hunting, it really is stunning!! We found our house in a little village not far from the falls. Next we start the renovations!!

17:08 This is dangerous wall my friend, especially if it is built on wooden floor. As times goes and water soaks guess what could go wrong. Its too heavy. They make this separating walls from aluminum profiles and gypsum boards or better use Knauf Aquapanel or some sort of cheaper cement boards. I wonder what could happen to me if I go to Britain and do something like that, not to mention all other "I wake up one morning" reconstructions you've done on the house.

AHH so that's what up on top of the waterfall, missed out a lot of that. It appears to be a busy place on Sundays. Don't worry about the kids, worry about Antony lol.. it will be a break of sorts. It's not very cold here, but it has been wet and there is a bit of a chill. The first thing I noticed was how bad England smells. 😅 I how Antony tied his new wall to the old one, seems it's not a popular thing to do in Bulgarian older buildings. And a tip, water down some PVA and paint around the inside to water proof.

You don't have to stay there just for the animals, I'm sure some neighbours can feed them for you ... I have a huge property in Bulgaria I rarely visit, but I just leave my keys to my local neighbour and all is fine !

You're doing a great job of raising your girls. You will always encounter differing opinions, that's fine no two people think the same. Don't worry about the children they're off on another adventure! You'll be able to do some things without them and you'll appreciate them even more when they return. ❤

Wow really lovely, and quite a scary trek up in places, your girlies are fearless. Looking forward to what you do with the shower, as we have the same situation, wooden floors where we want our shower - we were going to buy a bath first of all and just shower over it, but then saw a shower tray which will be ok. Feel for you re: the situation with returning to the UK and being away from the kids. 😢

Hi guys, please don't eat the chestnuts you picked up in this video, as they are actually a "horse Chestnut" and not suitable for eating by people. They have solely medicinal value as extract when processed in a special way usually done by the pharma industry. At home you can prepare a tincture for external use - but again do not ingest this type of chestnut. The edible chestnuts are much smaller than the horse one.
