These grommets seem really hard to get out of the stock windshield. Is there a trick I'm missing?

If brake light switch near brake pedal is faulty, this can also not allow shifting out of park. Also, if the 1 or 2 size 30 torx bolts on the shift linkage come loose, you can easily break ingnition cylinder actuator rod or gear or gear shift interlock without knowing it. These are all common problems and are cheap or free to fix if you catch them in time. The actual ignition switch is not the lock cylinder. On my 1996, large, white ignition switch is attached to the steering column and can be removed without disassembling column. Apparently, the lever on the switch can be used to bypass the ignition switch and actuator rod if one of them is broken, but you still need the key in the ignition.

I've loaded thousands of rounds without a hitch until last week. Then it failed completely. Every primer tips sideways and gets crunched. Cleaned it completely with no change. Very frustrating. Have a new primer mechanism coming.

How do you replace the shifter light bulb?

It would help if you told us what happens when you try to start it--do the idiot lights come on? does the engine crank? do you hear any clicking noises like from relays or solenoid?

Can someone answer this for me are all those bulbs like the engine light and the tire pressure light the same bulb?

I've used this press for many years as well although I don't have my older presses anymore I do have the newer version that you have, but since LEE updated the primer systems I don't ever have primer issues whether large or small...as long as it's clean it works flawlessly. I would throw the primer system away and replace it with a new system if I were to have problems if cleaning it didn't help. Some people say they had to polish the trough etc., but I've not had those issues since the system was updated.

I stopped having issues when I removed the primer plunger spring. I have a hunch you tried that already if you owned over for 25 years. Maybe I got lucky but results were night and day. Smiley faces/tipped primers, sideways, backwards ECT. To perfect everytime. 1 and every 300 mess up

Two questions for you, what is the bulb number for the dash lights and how many in total are there? I want to replace all of mine at once even though some are still good, so I do not have to pull the dashboard off again for several years to replace the bulbs. Thanks, and keep up the great work. 👍

The rivet can be removed by filing two straight edges on the head, then grip it with locking pliers (vice grips, whatever you call them). Then simply unscrew anti-clockwise. Comes out with no fuss and no need to destroy the cover.
