They were trying way too hard to be different and subvert expectations with this movie. Anyone who likes it is easily amused
It is a mystery to me that the mask is on the living room table.I thought someone would come back and take it. I had this weird imagination that Corey isn’t dead enough. Allison said that about Michael
I like the music in it though
wow sound is delayed echo
hell yeah seriously . I would love to see more of Jamie's Arc more then Laurie. how many fucking times do we have to see this. I love the og Halloween from 78. but I get so damn tired of seeing the same story between Laurie and Michael. first their brother and sister then people hate story line because it's stupid. I disagree I think it makes plenty of sense why Michael would go after. but yeah we need more of different arcs
Why does he only have 1k?
This film sucked. Id rather watch Halloween H20. I would've liked this reboot trilogy better if they kept Laurie and Michael brother and sister and brought back Jamie from Halloween 4 as an adult and Laurie and Jamie are the ones who finally stop Michael. Let it be a family story arc.
John Carpenters Halloween Ends and John Carpenters Halloween The New Chapter
It was communion , then alice sweet alice then Holy Terror . This is the Holy Terror version . i think the only dif is brooke shields name by its self in the intro and i think the box uses brookes likeness wearing the mask . It was a rebrand after brooke shields made it big in blue lagoon . They tried to sell her as the main character even though she dies 15 min in Alice was actually 19 while brooke was like 11 . Sadly she was in only 1 other movie , liqued sky ( 1982 ) weird but kinda a must watch movie I really thought the killer was gonna be angelas push over father pushed over the edge by his insufferable wife . Hes small enough to look like a kid in the raincoat and mask

I have not. I looked it up, do you mean the 1995 album?
@@nikoniko9 we are sending a flat earther to Antarctica this December to see if there's a 24-hour sun, which would falsify flat earth and prove the globe.

I'm glad you said the comment under your film was for possible employers - because flat earthers will ignore it. In fact they have 'debunked' NASA images as CGI whilst ignoring the fact that NASA has labeled them 'artist impression'
As is often the case, people interpret things in the context of their beliefs, in an either/or, only two possible alternatives kind of way. When instead there is a range of understanding, and the underlying truth should be the goal. Many Flat Earth believers have mutually conflicting claims, where one idea negates another. Meanwhile others accept the information produced over many generations of refinement that demonstrates the Earth is a globe, and the technologies we take for granted constantly utilize that knowledge.
Pardon me, but as a Christian you really ought to know how wildly different stuff - like ancient books - can be interpreted ;) Regarding the future of this channel, I think it's quite easy: Use your films channel for your main interest - films - and this channel for everything else. And if there is no time for "everything else" so be it, just leave a note "I'm going for cigarettes, be back soon". (For younger viewers: That's what husband used to say before disappearing for the next twelf years or so.)

I blame feminism…I’m not even joking or trolling…all modern franchises have been ruined by it…. Look how weak they have made Michael Myers and the side characters are always beta male characters that serve no valuable purpose …. “just a man” by the way
yeah firmament is a specific thing in flat earth circles. In hebrew it menas solid structure I think and in greek it means heavens/sky. Flerfs are the kings of cherry picking.

@@nikoniko9 Fair enuf. Bible was written in hebrew and greek, and maybe latin so its important to know the core of the issues people are having.
To put it bluntly: Blumhouse Productions, David Gorden Green, Danny McBride, Chris Bernier and Paul Brad Logan have took a huge dump on the Halloween Franchise for the fourth time with Halloween Ends. I'm really not sure if this Franchise can recover from this disaster again. The makers of this film put Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning (1985), Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday (1993), A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985) and Christine (1983) in a blender. Mixed those four films together with the worst elements of Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) and Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995). Thrown in a dash of Halloween H20 (1998) and voilà! The result is Halloween Ends and it's gloriously awful. And yet this new Halloween Trilogy got off to a good start with Halloween (2018). Yes, it stumbled with Halloween Kills (2021), but Halloween Kills was just a bridge movie in this trilogy. That had been a big problem. Halloween Ends isn't just a big slap in the face for these two movies, oh no! This film is a huge slap in the face to the entire Halloween Franchise. It doesn't feel like a Halloween Movie at all! It's just boring, frustrating and disappointing. So many new characters are introduced in this one. All have zero personality, are simply one dimensional and a bunch of assholes. I didn't like the Corey storyline at all. It had ZERO Pay off and was just pointless! Allyson is all over the place in this film. Her decisions made no sense and were completely contradictable to her character in comparison to the previous two films. Not to mention how annoying and unlikable she became in Ends. She really reminded me of Scout Taylor-Compton's Laurie Strode from Rob Zombie's Halloween 2. Michael Myers himself (when he appeared) seemed bored, disinterested and tired. To add insult to injury, he was completely disrespected in this movie. You really want me to believe that some 24 years old douchebag who was bullied and beaten by some high school bullies, can beat the f*cking Michael Myers and steal his mask. Are you serious with this bullshit?! Heck, when this movie FINALLY decided to be a Halloween Movie, I was about to walk out of the theater. Not even the Kills are good in this movie imo. How can you screw up so much with something so simple! Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode is the only shining light in this awful film. She's the only thing stopping me from giving this movie 0/5 stars. If David Gorden Green really wanted to "Season of the Witch" the Franchise then he should have NOT bring Laurie and Michael back in Kills and Ends. He had the opportunity to give those characters a nice send-off in 2018 but he didn't do it. He is a hack! His Halloween Trilogy is so inconsistent. Like he and Danny McBride can't decide whether or not Michael Myers is a normal human being or a supernatural entity. In Kills, Laurie said and I quote: "I always thought Michael Myers was flesh and blood, just like you and me, but a mortal man could not have survived, what he's lived through." Then in Ends she says and I quote: "I thought maybe you were the boogeyman. No, you're just a man [...]." Is he supernatural or not? David Gorden Green and Danny McBride be like: "Who knows, who cares!" Halloween Ends (2022) gets 1/5 stars from me. I can deal with a badly made movie that has bad writing and bad acting as long as it's still entertaining. The worst thing a movie can do to me is if it bores me and waste my time. Halloween Ends did that to me. I have never left the cinema so speechless, confused and angry at the same time. It's by far the worst movie in the Halloween Franchise. Yes, it's WORSE than Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989), Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995), Halloween: Resurrection (2002), Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 (2009) and Halloween Kills (2021). I'm dead serious! I would rather rewatch those movies than this piece of shit ever again because at very least those movies felt like actual Halloween Movies to me, even so they suck. I HATE Halloween Ends. After this travesty, whatever other studio who will own the rights to this Franchise should really just do Halloween Anthology Movies. Do what John Carpenter and Debra Hill envisioned for this Franchise to become after Halloween II (1981). It failed with Season of the Witch in 1982 but now it is the right time to do that in my opinion. Michael Myers character is so played-out at this point that I don't think a new Reboot with him will be any successful, especially without Jamie Lee Curtis. Even if they will bring back Danielle Harris as Jamie Lloyd and make a direct Sequel to Halloween 4 and delete Halloween 5 and 6 from the timeline, so what? They gonna f*ck it up again! They do it everytime! Everytime they made a decent or a good Sequel to the 1978 Original or 1981 Halloween II, they immediately do a Sequel/Sequels that ruins everything. They did it with Halloween 4 which was ruined by Halloween 5 and 6. Then with H20 which was ruined by Resurrection and now with Halloween (2018) which is ruined by Kills and Ends. This makes 3 strikes now. You're out! As far as I'm concerned the Story of Michael Myers ended with Halloween II (1981). Michael Myers died in that movie with Dr. Loomis who sacrificed his life and died in a blaze of glory.
Did you notice in the definition that you showed for the firmament that it says "especially when regarded aa a tangible thing"? The word refers to a vault or dome over a flat Earth and has no real place in the heliocentric cosmology. The word comes from the Latin "firmamentum" meaning "support" or "strengthening", which was used in the Latin Vulgate Bible to translate the Hebrew word "raqia" (meaning "expanse" or "extended surface"). It was traditionally viewed as a fixed, solid structure - hence the use of "firma" (firm) in the Latin term. I can understand that you didn't realize this when you chose the name for your film, but I thought this information might help point out the interest you received from people that consider our world to be established on a level plane!
Oh yes, when I first read it, I just sort of shrugged it off. In retrospect, that makes sense.

That's so funny that you basically walked backwards and blindfolded into an online debate without realizing it. Your art film had no specific intention to challenge either side of this debate and was made purely without any agenda in regards to science. You made it just to make something cool and I respect that. And it is hilarious to see how these wacky flat earthers can interpret a piece of art to have a hidden agenda in it. It shows you how conspiratorial their minds can get where they turn some innocent into an agenda purely from their own slanted thinking.
A small correction. There is no debate, the body of human knowledge says the earth is definitely spherical.
Right?! Thank you for watching. It really is an interesting case study. You hit the nail on the head. Before you know it I'm going to make another film and then be accused of thinking lizards run the Earth! 😅

Welcome to the world of "accidental social experiments"!
Tell me about it!
Yeah, it's been quite the topic over the last, maybe 10ish years. I'm not sure I would agree that they appropriated it. The Bible is something that can be interpreted any number of different ways. Some took it to mean that a dome exists. That's the hard part about religion and poetic writing. You can interpret a set of texts multiple ways without any real way to judge which, if any, might be correct.
Very understandable. Maybe "appropriate" was the wrong word to use. "Interpret" would have been a better word. From my research, the idea of a "firmament" predates the Hebrew Bible, as both Egyptian and Greek cosmology references a dome over the Earth. It's quite an interesting topic, ancient cosmology.
Read exodus 21:20&21, no one should love a god who sanctions such
I understand where you are coming from. It is a very shocking verse, especially when viewed through a modern lens. Although there are many other theologians and religious scholars who could answer your question more directly. My response would be that you have to remember that the Bible is one unified story, even though it has many books and many authors. Taking things out of context of any story can lead to many misinterpretations or "not getting the full story". This isn't a religious debate channel, but I would highly recommend maybe looking up what the New Testament says about the old. Hopefully this helps you understand my viewpoints. I appreciate the comment, though!
How do flat earthers use measuring equipment? stupidly, very stupidly. How do flat earthers travel the world? They seem to jump in the air and wait til their destination comes around. How do you break up with a flat earther? you give them a globe with a Post It on it that says, "You are here." Why do flat earthers often get their math wrong because their shit naturally doesn't add up. How intelligent are flat earthers? They're intelligent? The only thing flat earthers fear is sphere itself
🤣
Some how they put you into my feed. Comprehend Water flows downward. We live on a stationary fixed land mass that does not rotate. The Lord works in mysterious ways. Satan has used Man for all of its lies.
Yes… water flows from high elevation to low elevation… as expected on the globe. You seem to be religious, bible says it’s a sphere also. Also… it definitely rotates

"Firmament" is in the beginning of the first chapter of the first book of the Bible in the most popular translation (King James), and you never heard it before? 🤨
He means its not a word you hear regularly. It's not a word you typically hear in everyday conversation or topical discussions. You could go months or years without hearing a word like that so when you do finally hear it, it has a certain charm to it. Like hearing someone say Ravine or Stellar or other unique words that don't come up very often.
I haven't believe it or not. I have only read the NIV translation of the Bible which says "sky" and not "Firmament".
@@nikoniko9 Oh, OK. That makes sense.
I heard the Firmament was holding back the waters of Noah's flood.
I'm not sure!
If you take the bible literally, it describes there being an actual physical dome in the sky. This dome held back the ocean that was in space around the planet. During the great flood the firmament opened and that is where a lot of the water came from that flooded the Earth. The vast majority of Flat Eathers are religious fundamentalist who believe the bible is literal, so they believe the dome is or was actually real. Some of the more 'reasonable' ones believe the firmament was destroyed during the flood, and no longer exists, and so believe in a modern Earth, while there are others who believe the bible's account is still accurate today. I don't want to tell anyone what to believe, but everything in the bible from the Noah's flood and prior(basically everything in genesis) is straight up creation myth. Believing it is literal leads to things like being a flat Earther, and also the denial of evolution. Which also, people only deny evolution because they take the bible literally and think the Earth is only around 7000 years old, and so there hasn't been enough time for evolution to actually be real. Some even think since humans are described as the first animals on Earth, that means dinosaurs and humans were around at the same period and stuff too. Because it is primarily a religious belief, that is why it is a very sensitive topic.
Theology is such a fascinating thing. Being a Christian I try to keep up with the (no pun intended) flood of knowledge and history. Astronomy is also an interest of mine, so these things kind of came together on this one. There definitely are fundamentalists and Bible literalists out there. However,I would say they are a very small, yet loud minority. I have been a Christian my whole life, and I have worked in the church with many christian friends and colleagues, and none of them believe the Earth is flat (thankfully lol). It's interesting how something can be interpreted in so many different ways by different people. Weather it be the Bible or any other religious or even political doctrine. I enjoy these types of comments. Thank you for sharing!
The bible does NOT… anywhere… EVER say there is a physical dome in the sky. That is 100% a LIE

@@nickoD509 It’s highly tied to religious beliefs.
