Brilliant idea! I’m going to use your idea💗
Now you'll just have to hook up the livestock to help you move it. Nice work.
I loved the baby chickens watching you work they are so cute... nice fence
I like this music is really good and beautiful and is sheep and dog in love or something?
Can u link the next video?
I still dont quiet get how it works
Amazing, I have started to add nopales to my soap making, I did not know you can eat those pears, my next project is to eat some of these. Thanks for the information.
Now i want a prickly pear magarita
My grandfather would mix 50/50 used motor oil and diesel in 55gal drums and would soak the logs in mixture for couple weaks
this design with the raised bog is the best. And the trench and carpet are also a great ideas! The only this is.... it looks like the liner is exposed on the edges?
Thank you! Yes exactly… here’s an option to hide the exposed edges!🤜🤛How to Hide Exposed Pond Liner Edges DIY Natural Swimming Pond Vid #10 th-cam.com/video/S4jMne0gMvo/w-d-xo.html
do you take the nails out?
youve got my brain churning wondering if i can incorporate a hydroponic garden into my pond 🤔
Do it!!🤠👍
Will dogs put holes in the liner?
That cow? looks like such a sweet baby.
i am trying to build a temporary pallet fence without taking pallets apart. I got a pallet buster and denailer and sold them. the pallet busted was too hard.
i am trying to build a temporary pallet fence without taking pallets apart.
i need to watch this on slow motion
My husband and I are beginning homesteaders and have been tying to figure out a way to use pallets to build a paddock fence. You have officially saved out lives and wallets! Thank you!
Oh that is sooo cool! Have fun! 🤠🤜🤛
@@UnitedRanch If you have any tips on what might be the best way to do a full paddock fence with pallets, I'd love the info!
This is the best video I have seen, as I’m interested in doing a railing fence and a wood shed made out of trees, great info. Thank you.
Oh that is so Awesome!! I’m glad it could help some! It’s so fulfilling to use the land for useful things like you’re doing!🤠🤜🤛
Do you wait for them to dry?
Are you sure those splits aren't calcium deficiencies?
Nice! I tried making a cactus berry limeade once. th-cam.com/video/ag69-9SdFgo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=koJRfsYx5OHdEiZC
Great video but it’s SO much easier just to put some in a bowl or bucket of water and stir them so they knock in to one another and rinse two or three times. ✌🏻
sweet thanks dude
You’re welcome!🤜🤛🤠
I am from india, we find prickly pear here as well. But, those are full of thorns(pads). I need a variety which is thornless. Can you tell me the scientific name of the prickly pear you are growing???
opuntia ficus indica.
Thank you or this video. I just wild harvested about 2 gallons from my local park that everyone but the ants were ignoring. They’ve been torched and are now sitting in the freezer.
I’m glad you got some!🤜🤛
I clean windows for a living, its one of the best feelings ever to be in a home like this. Everything was built or recycled. Its incredible work.
Thank you for the encouraging comment!🤝
Great information.
Thank you I hope it helps!🤝
i chew the seeds
Lol
how can these handle winter? i live in Europe and i want to cultivate it (if i can find some seeds to plant that is)
This is amazing. Would love to see a breakdown of cost and time it took to build.
Whats up with pump safety. Do you need to unplug it for swiming or how are they more safe then an aquarium pump?
3:43 if you want to know the good stuff
I have a question that noone mentions!?? Does the water stay cool in summer months? I live in florida and i would love to build a pond in a vouple years. I was thinking to dig the bog very deep to help keep the water cool. We have natural springs near by and it would be amazing if i can match that tempeture in the summer months
If you're gonna peel them, why do you remove the brown spots? My grandpa used to just soak in water and all of the thorns gets removed. Then to remove skin he would cut the skin on both ends, then 1 vertical slit and it would open like a book :D Maybe this outdates as he also used to cut them with just a newspaper (No gloves)
I try to remove most thorns including the small ones at the brown spots if I freeze them for later smoothies. If I just eat them raw I do like what you said in cutting them… here’s a short video showing what I do…EASILY Harvest Prickly Pears (Tunas)!🤠🌵 th-cam.com/users/shortsQQ6znYo09co?feature=share
What a clever way to repurpose your wood-carved furniture!!!❤
Thank you!🤠
Good shi brotha
Thank you!🤜🤛
Great work bro! 😊
Thanx! I love the mid century lamp🤠
That's a lot of work for a few bites. It's not that spectacular for the effort.
Not bad at all! Such a great superfood!
the plants get hundreds of them and all you really need to do is remove the ends, the ends barely have any fruit anyways and then slice lengthwise. only on the skin layer don't slice into the core itself and peel the skin off.
I bought some green one at the supermarket took the germinating the seeds to plant them I’m trying to find the red one but can’t find them yet I heard they taste better.
I love the red! Try to find someone on like Craigslist or marketplace selling or giving away and cut some pads to propagate… should be a lot quicker process🤠👍
Good dog
Yes he is😊
Man that’s a lot of work
This is for the freezing method. this attached short vid shows how I prepare to eat raw… extremely easy and fast…EASILY Harvest Prickly Pears (Tunas)!🤠🌵 th-cam.com/users/shortsQQ6znYo09co?

I just purchased an antique scythe at a flea market yesterday for ten dollars that looks just like yours. I dream of using it to cut my grass in my pastures one day.
Oh that is so cool!! I hope you enjoy it🤠🤝
You talking to much. This is a tutorial. Show it.
🤠
Do you draw your beard on ?
Nope just try to keep it trimmed👍
I usually twist them off when ripe. If you use a metal collander and cold water, you can rinse under cold water while swishing the Tunas around, the bump up against each other in the collander, and will rub the glochids off natrually.
Very nice… do you still need gloves or it completely removes them?
@@UnitedRanch I use welders gloves and tongs when I pick. Then when using the colander method I use black rubber mechanics gloves. I also use a blue Jean apron so as not to transfer them to my clothing.
