Bought one new in '79 with money saved from my paper route(yeah, that was a thing back then). Mine was black with the mag wheels, other colors had spoked wheels. I grew up in New Jersey, and at that time, no helmet, license, or registration needed. Kinda surprising for a nanny state like Jersey, but made for fun times. Thanks for bringing back some memories.

just put chinese carb on 350 because i broke the little diaphram pump on side the 2 hoses go to. dont know if it is vaccum or gas pump. anyway the new carb doesnt have it and has a drain hose on both sides of carb. the elec. heater plug is diff., has be changed. started up ran good, idled, now week later wont start. the float seems to have hung closed and ran outa gas.

ethanol fuel....??? had that happen on a lawn mower, don't use ethanol fuel in small engines.

I have a TRX350 2003, just installed new petcock , fuel filter and line. Now I have fuel leaking from the bottom of the carb. Bowl port. Now I may have to do a carb. Cleaning? It don’t leak while running though. Runs good. 🙏🏼🇺🇸❤️

I was given a set of those from a neighbor that was clearing an old warehouse. Both ran at different times. I used it for school. It was a 5 mile ride one way. Leaked gasoline and burned oil. I loved it!! It was my first motorized vehicle.

We just picked up the exact one. Started up and running perfectly.

When I bought my 2015 the first thing I noticed was how high the stock suspension sits. It’s almost like Mazda knows exactly what they’re building with their small sedans. They know how to get the most out of small packages over there and I love it.

I’m planning to move across the country when I finish college next year and I was worried it’d be hard to move all my stuff with my Mazda 3 hatch, but this means I can rent a U-Haul trailer and have plenty of room

Did you figure out where that ground wire went that was dangling there?

I had one exactly the same! Excellent machine, if taken care of. I even bought a blade (and wheel weights, of course) attached at the front so I could do my own driveway in the winter.

spatter or bb(s) you can decrease wire speed or increase voltage. make sure materials clean, which yours looked clean in video,, invest in shielding gas, and spray with anti spatter, as old as the video is youve probably mastered this .. but good work!

Do you tow your atv on highways? Or do you avoid highways and take city streets.

My 2004 Honda ATV starts but wont run properly,keeps cutting out when you try to drive in first gear.strange it will move in reverse. Any suggestions?

vs the peugeot 103 this is very heavy , how do i know this , all my relatives had either one of these two and guess who was stealing them for a ride while they visited my parents back in the 90s it was mostly acceptable to see a 13 boy going around with one of these no one reports you as long as you don't look like trouble

These were a good sled new. Problem was new was about 20 years ago. You are going to have go through that sled like Grant took Richmond to get it back to good again.

I am installing a trailer hitch myself on my camry this weekend. I have a small stick steer boat with 25 horse mercury on it. I was gonna wait till I get a truck to go fishing in a couple of months, but why Waite? I'm ready to fish now. Only towing it about 10 miles round trip, hope this don't mess my car up.

How bad was the weld distortion? I was thinking maybe this was doable with wax coated stick rods and submerged in water to prevent any distortion.

Great video W&R! I have a 2022 Mazda3 sedan and after spending some time in the Sierra Nevada last year, I decided that I'd love to have a SxS or a cheaper sporty ATV. Now I know that it's possible to tow without needing a CX-30😃 You definitely have more know-how than I do though so I hope you don't mind flying out to California to do the necessary modifications for me:D I'll put you up in the finest Motel6 one can find😄 I'm assuming the hitch is a 1/4"?

Reverse the poles. it will fix that splatter. Reverse polarity.

Welding that axel without removing the motor is ok right? The electric current wont run through the metal into the motor? Sorry im a noob lol

I may have be moving from Chattanooga to either Phoenix or Eastern NC which is about 1800 miles to Phoenix and about 600 to NC. I too have a standard in my '18 3 Touring with the 2.5l. Would you theoretically say that I could haul a trailer of that size with some totes that are lighter, leaving the heavier stuff in the car with me? Any advice would be appreciated!

I work on these things for a living and I can tell you if it's been set in 20 years no way it's going to crank up without having the carburetor cleaned out and all the dead gas drained out of it at minimum
