How would you describe yourself to someone who knows nothing about you? What adjectives would you use? Which one would be the most and least important and why? I am curious how people choose to self identify themselves. Personally, I am an introvert who prefers to stay home, listen to vinyl and read books. I also love to get lost in movies. I have a few close friends. I have had a lesbian friend in the past, and I am somewhat familiar with that side of the fence. She helped bring insight to a world most people on guess at. She is a musician her first love, and happens to be lesbian. Her style comes more from being influenced by punk rock and 90's grunge. She also introduced me to some dark lesbian music OTEP comes to mind, off the top of my head. On a tangent, Leisha I am a younger Gen Xer and missed getting enveloped in the music scene of the 90's. Did you get to play with the Distillers, Corrosion of Conformity, or L7? Did you have any awesome 90's nights at the Viper room in LA? Keep being you!!

Voting in the US is a bit mental for me, as a non-US citizen. I'm a Romanian citizen, and we get the automatic right to vote when we turn 18. We get national ID cards when we're 14, we use those at the polling centres, they get scanned and tick your name off in an online database that you voted for that election (this is to prevent multiple voting fraud, which still happens, oddly enough). I live in the UK, which only recently has added photo ID to vote, and where you register on the electoral register/roll (and as I gather, it's a legal requirement for them to canvass households and for people to register). The fact that you have to check that you're registered because they may have removed you is nuts.

Glad you brought up the registration issue. I only recently found out that I wasn't registered due to moving. I am registered now. Probably the most important consequential election of our lifetimes. It will be choosing the direction our country takes.

We were able to get our mail in votes on September 21st. We got our ballots in the mail a week later. My girlfriend and I have already voted. We voted blue to America.

While I’m certain you ladies are well aware of the bull shit that trump and his cultists and cronies are plotting. For anyone that isn’t aware, he is placing his people in strategic election sites. So what happened to Leisha is going to happen more often. They already have lawsuits ready to file (with trump judges) if/when he loses. He has a major election interference plot. But you would think that it wouldn’t happen in California, but Trump has been focusing on California and swears that he can win the state. If he’s in California, you know his people are everywhere. Please be careful, don’t leave the election site until you see your ballot dropped in the box and, by all means, don’t give up if there’s something wrong with your registration. Vote your rights depend on it because they do.

In CA you can vote at ANY vote center. It does not need to be your “home” vote center. Every vote center in the state will allow you to cast a vote (though you should try to vote in your home County). Even if you are not yet registered or can’t be found in the system, you can cast a provisional ballot.

I’ll be working as a lead customer service rep at my vote center this election. Did it for the primaries too. I expect all of your American viewers/listeners to get out the vote.
