To start with, you saturated the surface with wd40, the all the other chemicals were used on the same spot after wd40, it's like cleaning your house b4 the cleaner comes to clean. you wanna do a test on different surface area for each product.
I’m trying to listen to what you are saying but that radio is driving me nuts 🤣🤣🤣
How many scratches with the razor blade
Got to the point! Didn’t talk a lot of crap about your house, kids, etc and very clear on the project you were doing. This is what people like. Great video
Turn that stupid music off, nobody wants to hear that!
Very good clip ,It's helpful.
Thank you so much. And thank you for your service to America. U.S. ARMY!
Other TH-cam videos use gasoline and a towel, then wash with soap and water. also, use a plastic scraper to not damage the paint.
Great ! Thank you !
👍🏼
getting ready to do the same to our trailer, so thanks for point us in the right direction. I am a little concerned about using a razorblade on the siding...should I be?
Pressure tester makes this much easier
Good vid
Hi You can use a metal scraper on the metal car door?
Excellent footage. Thanks from Australia.
WD-40 is not effective also the also the more you scrape that to a tinner layer of glue the harder it will be to remove when you soak it with spirit white or a strong spirit wipe leave it on the glue until the glue is in a jelly like state and do not scrape a bit prematurely allow it to get right to the point that when you're rubber plant into the liquid you can see it coming into a jelly-like substance and coming right of the whole of the paint finish if you scrape it prematurely it actually makes it harder to remove leave the liquid on it until it's totally soaked in when you rub a spot you should be able to get right down to the finish paint when you get to that stage before the jelly effusive gets dry rub it off as fast as possible if necessary apply a second coaching this is the most effective way of residue from the graphics or wraps of any kind. You have to do it in small 12inc bit's At a time if you try to do to much at once it will start to dry and get hard in parts you have to take your time
Tackling this job this weekend. Thank you for the clear and concise video. I feel like i know everything i need to know to tackle this job.
Thanks for your video
Wish my ‘92 was as clean as yours :) great video, man :)
Друг спасибо, очень помог.
I'm desperate to take off my panels so I can clean up the engine, I just cannot see how to remember where all the screws go back even if you have a few pots? Any tips?
Try bit cardboard draw panel out line trace it .or but then back in after take panels away saying that .I end up missing bits and guessing myself .
Justo esa pieza se me trono y la estoy reparando la compré en Ebay Alemania . Tardo dos semanas en llegar a México . Gracias por esos tips ...😎👍
My thermostat finally bought the farm, im just going to end up running my bike without it till the new one comes in. I Appreciate the video on how to take it out.
It’s a good idea to get the new thermostat in as quick as you can, you will find the bike runs extremely cool without the thermostat and it’s not really good for the engine to run that cool as it means big difference in temp between different parts of the engine, and less efficient burn.
I know this is likely obvious but you should be counting from a counter-clockwise direction. You're opening the screw 2 5/8 turns...
Sprayed it down with WD-40 then you put mineral spirits course is going to come off easy
Are yr Urdu me bol na Bhai nh Hy mera plz
I have a leak under the carburetors and I can't remove them. I see on the video what you did, but not how you removed those carburetors. I got 3 of the clamps screws loose, can't get to the 4th which is the top right one. Can't reach the screw. Tried just forcing the carburetors up but they will not budge. Is something else holding it down, and how did you reach the one screw I can't get to. I have removed the radiator, but not the windshield front part. I have been messing with this for a month.
Did the razor blade scratch surface?
Thanks for taking the time to do this video, you have helped me heaps, cheers.
Just use a steamer like pros do
Excellent presentation and you go through each example very well. Thank you for sharing your experience with this process. This is one of the techniques that I want to try on our boat project. We left some clear packing tape on the exterior window cutouts longer than we planned and now it doesn't matter what we try it's not coming off easily. Thanks again. Have a wonderful day 😀
I can't tell you the number of times I've had the same reaction as you when finding a broken stud or mount. At least you now know what your leak was.
The item you were calling a fuel pump is actually the fuel cutoff valve. The fuel pump is actually inside the tank.
I never imagined that someone would find the perfect use for a treadmill! Awesome!
Thank you sir. I’ve been watching videos on how to paint my horse trailer. From what I can tell this is the best paint job yet. Luca
Thanks for watching Makayla, take your time and make sure to smooth out the bubbles for a smooth surface.
Where did you pick up your truck
It was an exciting RV trip!!
Sorry I am late to the party. for future reference the Honda Part number for the Thermostat is: 19300-MG9-000 (secondary number KBOMO3G). I bought my Thermostat on eBay from a dealer in Seattle.
nice
Anyone remember the main entrance to the buckroo beach amusement park of the clowns made of neon lights rolling the ball back and forth? Great memories...Thank you for the video.
Great video , did you o one of removing the carbs . Thanks
I hope I don`t have to take all the plastic off again either .I am very sympathetic with your arduous efforts . Many thanks indeed Max.
He is learning the hard lesson about the tupperware. Honda are literally taking the piss . There is no shortcut to taking off the panels. The (Huge) Honda manual with diagrams is free to download .Be careful not to order any manuals that get you to agree (by dotting the agree button ) to pay £24.95 per month continuously without the right to cancel . Look out for that scam .
Max you should work for Hondas to tell them "Keep it simple lads. Nothing complicated just to upset the riders ". Great video teacher. Many thanks .
Thanks for Watching John.
Didn't the Razor Blade cause surface scratches on your paint job?
it will be more convincing to see which product is more effective than the others, if you apply different product on different area
hey, I have the same bike and the same symptoms. What was wrong with Honda?
Petrol and a rag
One thing I noticed is there is a small hole in the thermostat when you put it in you need to put it on top. You placed it on the bottom. On top it lets the air come out of the system when you put the coolant in.
Ah that makes perfect sense, i came looking for that answer, thanks! The Haynes manual says there's an O-ring, not a gasket. I got the O-ring with my timing-belt & thermostat replacement set. Old one still worked fine, but it's a '91 ST1100 so might as well replace it when all tupperware is off for the timing-belt.
i just thought about it are they father and daughter or is daddy a nick name thing.....lol
