First and foremost, thank you for watching! I can certainly appreciate and relate to your profile picture. Thank you for politely asking me to sit on my hands, it takes a certain type of person with decent manners to say please these days. You seem to be doing what you want with your hands on that keyboard of yours so I'll respectfully do what I want with mine. Quality of a builder depends on the specific neighborhood and is not directly correlated to the national brand. If a community has a good superintendent supervising the subcontractors and the quality of the work, then that community will be in a good place no matter what the name of the national builder. I've seen plenty of "luxury" builders from other communities with worse build quality than some "budget" builders in other communities. So looking into the quality of each individual community is actually more important than stroking everything off with a generalized brush. But I'm sure you knew that already. I'll put my knowledge of the areas of Jacksonville up against your knowledge any day. So I will wait until you post your own video about Jacksonville proving my lack of knowledge...probably be waiting for a while. This video is about new construction communities which are inherently HOA communities. Every last one. I would gladly make you a video talking about the new construction communities that don't have an HOA in Jacksonville if it weren't for the fact that they don't exist. Sure there are new builds on singular lots in pre-existing neighborhoods that have no HOA but that is not a new construction community. I think you are on the wrong video for that. You are right, many buyers do want to stay away from HOA communities and I help my clients all the time who want a house like that buy homes that are not in a new construction community. Reality is that is not MOST buyers. I'll tell you what. Let's make a compromise. I'll make you a video with a list of desirable, no HOA communities if you let me do what I want with my own hands. I like in southern Indiana it's nice here too but my family is in Florida and my sister and her girls live in Jacksonville and I really liked it so I'm thinking of a move in the next few years.

@@patrickodonnell9388 I don't know much about Indiana besides the Indy 500. How is the weather up there? Florida will be a great change of pace, i think. My clients from the North or Midwest say it's a lot slower paced down here and more things to do outdoor. It's nice to be close to family as well.

Southern Indiana is a different life style then around the cities its very quiet for the most part what makes it nice here is all the lakes and the forest plus we have lots of outdoor activities like camping, fishing and hunting and there are lots of offroad trails for bikes and back packing what it doesn't have that you do is the beach and warmth year round. I like Jacksonville but then again I like southern Indiana they both have advantageous. The things I dont like about Florida hurricane season the things I dont like about Indiana tornado season outside of that really like them both.

@@patrickodonnell9388 I think that there are definitely parts of Jacksonville in the outskirts like Callahan, Hilliard, Fernandina, Ponte Vedra where you'll enjoy. It's slower paced and these areas revolve around outdoor living. I've never witnessed a tornado but everything I've seen seems terrifying. Luckily Jacksonville seems to avoid major hurricanes or the storms are weak by the time it makes it up here.

ok i get it. arlington has some rough areas. BUT we have riverfront here and some really nice neighborhoods. Houses are built with quality construction, we do not flood, and our traffic is light in comparison. Unfortunately, if u are looking for schools, might want to go private

Fort Caroline (Arlington) is gorgeous. Hilly & eclectic neighborhoods.

Holy Moly! Well I won't complain about Florida prices ever again! I would say, however, South Florida prices are going to be significantly more expensive then us here up in Northeast Florida. We still have it relatively good considering what you just told me wow! Alot of our military families that we help move here from San Diego alot of times are actually able to buy in Jacksonville. Alot of them tell me they were priced out of the market in San Diego. Thanks for watching my friend!
