I live in Thailand and have a 13 hp longtail motor that has a vibration at idle then smooths out under load. Getting ready to take it apart and had no idea what I was getting into. Seems pretty straight forward. Thanks for this video. Makes my job easier. I’ll keep watching.

When you launch the boat that oil goes into the lakes and streams where we fish. Use the grease like it says and stop poisoning the environment.

4-20 Mm thick or mil thick?

Supposed to grease the shaft. You could tap and install a zerk fitting for next to nothing. Remove the end screw and pump in grease until it's full.

I'm replacing the firebrick and grate in my stove. In the very black there is a metal plate that got destroyed I have to order a new one. Can I get a picture of the very back of the stove to see exactly where it goes?

Got mine in 2015. Five inches of water is all it needs. Suggest carrying a spare prop and tools. If skeg just misses rock... Mine split in two.

I wish I didn’t live in the Netherlands! Those long tails look like so much fun but with all the waterways being smaller here they’re a total liability.

It would seem to me that it would have been possible to divert some of the exhausted steam from the engines into a condenser and then have pure, distilled water in great abundance.

How do u keep the front end in the water with this? Just took mine on a test run and couldnt keep the front end down and the back was taking on water

I like the chassis, but I'd mount it lower. Its prolly top heavy.

I just bought my 1st predator 212 a week ago , it’s installed on my trike and Yesterday was the 1st attempted start . all the fuel leaked out the carburetor and even with troubleshooting from harbor freight the float still wouldn’t work on a brand new motor. I’m watching this to learn how to change it since I bought a carb from Amazon

I just happened to score one of these mufflers off of eBay for 25$ I got a resonator 3 disks end cap and exhaust adapter, my exhaust is 1.25 and the muffler is 1” so I plan on cutting and welding a larger inlet I’m hoping it sounds great on a 7” long pipe

I am piecing together a budget 1232 building with a 212cc mud skipper I just picked up. Its for a rocky river and I was worried about going 5 miles down and back up river. I think its safe to say I am good! You pleased with how it works in rocks?

Is that 644 including the motor?

Are you able to run that boat with those mods and motor with out having to put weight in the bow ?
