    Never had Velcro fail. The padding fails way before Velcro. But there’s a reason the pros use lace gloves. 1. When your hands are fully wrapped they are easier to put on. 2. They do hold the glove in place better. However the vast majority of boxers using the sport to train, and get into shape should stick with the simplicity of Velcro gloves.

      I've seen MANY Velcro boxing products fail, half the time it is just poor quality batches. And that's from good brands too!
      It sucks but Velcro is just so convenient! 🤣🙏

    I clicked because of the Tilt 350. I will say, after going through Velcro gloves... Maybe my first 4-5pairs... With lace to loop converters... I started using lace and never went back. The fit and support just feels more natural for most gloves in laces.

      I am absolutely loving the 350s my friend, I tried the Velcro version and it just didn't feel as natural like you say, I think they are outstanding in lace up and can't wait to review them fully 👍👊

      Lace to loop converters is the way to go. The suave method works if the hole is big enough. With a smaller hole, use the method csquaredboxing describes with shoelaces. I use the latter.

      I wasn't a fan of those gloves with Velcro at all, way better in laceup in my opinion.

    I enjoy both and use both for sparring and pads. I care more about Oz size in sparring being above 14oz plus depending on weight and punching power. I wear 16 ounce in light sparring and 18 in hard sparring, 10 to 12 for pads and leather no padding gloves for bag work to help my punching technique. It's down to preference in all honesty

    • @fightingspirit93
      @fightingspirit93  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's right mate, preference is key!
      Some 10oz gloves can be considered way more protective than 16oz punchers gloves for example, there are many important factors!

    Velcro all the way. I won’t use lace up gloves anymore because I don’t want to depend on my coach or anyone to put on my gloves.

      Not specifically windy but I hear the same issue is going down with Twins Special, all to do with IP issues so another brand can simply jump in and name themselves Twins Special in another country 😳😳😳
