I have been watching that one medfluencer, who is unnamed lol, since she first started and I agree that she went about this all wrong. She was very transparent with the fact that her advising business made her lots of money, but there was no need to declare that she was leaving medicine if she planned on completing her degree. I'm sure this announcement has created issues for her outside of social media, considering that she also told everyone that she received a full-tuition scholarship. So now it appears that she is getting a medical degree for free just to charge pre-meds for her advise on getting into med school. Listen, I'm not mad at it, but I understand why some people are. She should have waited to give this announcement until it was time to apply for match. It would have made sense then, but right now, she in the middle of Medical School, and this announcement may deter students from using her services, and make it necessary for her to use her education and become a doctor.

Excellent video kind lady, I have a slightly different take than some of the folks that are younger than me or have not had a first career. I am coming to medicine, very late in life, because I feel that I am called in this manner to make a positive impact on the lives of those society has marginalized. It is not about title, money, nor anything prestige (related). Of course, I don't begrudge anyone any of things if they desire them. Each one of us must find our paths. For me, it is the joy of care.

yo literally thank you so much for being transparent and sharing about your struggles. Im a Black person also in med school and I literally thought i was the only one having a fallout with some of the other Black students in my cohort, mind you there's also not a lot of us. Like, I was so shocked but also glad to see that it's just not an issue at my school. I also found out super early on that the people in my school were my professional community but most of them I can't be super close with. I do have my small circle in school but I've made a huge effort to make friends in the city i go to school in and that's worked out for me. Also, yes to the culture shock of people just being more privileged. It's still jarring two years in. genuinely wishing you all the best and for your people to come to you someday, whether that be romantic or platonic. And also best of luck getting through med school. Definitely continue to put yourself first, no matter what people say <3

Hii, new subscriber here! I gotta say this totally hit home for me. I'm a 3rd-year med student studying abroad, going through similar stuff. Had issues with my peers the first couple of years, and sadly, I'm still stuck in that environment till I graduate. It's rough being lonely in such a competitive field, especially when people see you as an outsider. But honestly, I'm trying to take it as a stepping stone to get mentally and emotionally stronger until I can go back home and be with people who actually care. And that nice-but-fake thing-ugh, I can’t stand it either! The worst part is sometimes if you don’t smile back, people think it’s rude. But I agree; if we don’t like each other, why pretend in public? 😂 Anyway, looking forward to more of your videos! You got this, and wishing you tons of success <3

When I say this video is so refreshing!! I’m in my mid 20’s not going the med school route but I’m going through the counseling field. I’ve graduated and I’m preparing to retake my counseling exam. I just feel like I have so much stressors right now and I can’t focus on the test now. I want to work on other things and then I can focus on taking my test. But thank you for this video! I’m usually a perfectionist and I like to plan things so sadly hearing that I failed really hurt me. New subscriber! It’s nice seeing real people post.

Thank you for sharing. I have a lot of the same feelings you have mentioned. Sometimes having a hard time relating/trusting people after being burned/turned on by people I thought I could trust/relate to. I am also studying for the NCLEX to become an RN, so I can empathize with the studying process for a standardized exam and having to balance everything too. I really enjoyed your video and am glad there is someone who can relate and is going through something similar. I am sure you will be a great physician and wonderful patient advocate. hey girl! fellow med student here and i resonate heavily with what you said. med school is a total culture shock and i immediately saw how much it reminded me of hs popularity like ew. im sorry about your break-up yet happy you sound self aware and are acknowledging your feels. people totally are quick to try to fix something instead of just listening. continue to do what is best for you. rooting for ya! and more importantly praying for your mental health bc school compounded by life problems is a bit overwhelming!

Finding community is hard, especially in your mid-20s (I am 26) and sending all the good vibes as you process that friendship breakup/blow-up This year, I have focused on community, and my biggest advice is to put yourself out there! I live in Atlanta and there are many walking, friendship, and activity clubs for people to meet new people within the metro and greater Atlanta area. So see if there is some interest you might be into that you could join. Trust the process and remind yourself of your end goal - sending so much love and light 💡💛 (also subscribed to witness the journey)

chick I does want to scream at times I questioned why the hell did I sign up for nursing school, then I remembered why I did but the actual process will make you wanna cuss ,its hard its tough, its isolating, its people saying this saying that, but taking time to balance you is so critical, i use prayer meditation, exercise ,TH-cam, walks.

This hit hard. As always, thank you so much for the transparency. Glad to hear you’re turning to therapy and really using it as a tool. A lot of us sometimes only use therapy as an outlet and completely forget that the point of it is yes to have an outlet but to also tell ourselves let’s wake up and learn how to operate differently. It’s so important to be able to give yourself grace for not operating in the past off of information that you have now. But it’s even more important to recognize and appreciate yourself for implementing changes. Listening to you talk about what you went through with your former friend group weighed heavily on my heart. Idk what it is but surprisingly med school often gives mean girl vibes. Sometimes I find even myself questioning whether I slipped up in the dimension of life and somehow ended back up in high school. The conversations I’ve heard from some of my peers can be shocking at times and I applaud you for removing yourself from that. Security is such a hard thing to find in life. The last year in my life was such a pivotal moment of change in my in terms of hormones, platonic relationships, romantic relationships, and school lol and I’ve found myself questioning so much as my own birthday is coming up in two weeks. “The what was you doing” had me cracking up! I journaled over a memory of something I allowed to be said to me last year and lemme tell you the way I laughed out of disbelief as I read it back to myself. I just told myself, “yeah that wasn’t us 🙂” I agree though. Your past relationships definitely shape you as there’s so much that I’ve learned to never tolerate again and to completely dip if shown those behaviors in future relationships. This is the --only-- video that worked for me! After hours. Honestly most of it was trying to figure out the pairing because it kept showing up as the 8BitDo gametroller or something. I did try to download an update from the 8BitDo website, but honestly I don't even think that download went through. I kept trying various combinations of letters and start, and eventually it showed the same as yours, Pro Controller. I think maybe what made the difference was going full into the Bluetooth settings like you did - still took a couple tries of X + Start, but that's when it worked for me. Good luck to all trying to pair...
