We typically only use the one, but you never know if you will need an extension. One 10’ hose fits in the storage tube under your camper.

@@KatJ-k4h We post the videos cuz there were none when we got our and had so much to learn. No solar package but it’s on the list. Dealer put on a WDH with sway bars, but we don’t use it. I take back roads, so not going super fast and many of the roads are twisty. I didn’t like it. I don’t believe Intech had them in mind since these are smaller and light weight trailers. They started putting on reinforcement plates since so many folks started using them. It’s a hot debate. Some love them some don’t. I personally don’t think it’s necessary. However, there are many factors to consider so keep researching. We tow with a Honda Pilot. We love our Dawn and it’s pretty easy to set up and maintain. ♥️

May I ask what your tow capacity is? I see there are different Pilot packages. Thank you again for your insights.

We started the RV shopping thinking teardrops and smaller units. We had seen a SOL while camping and thought we would never be able to have a camper like that. But then we found a used one and here we are!! I’m a tall guy so the Dawn is pretty nice for me. We are a family of three, so it can be a tight fit, but this size trailer works out well for us. Thanks for the info on the tension bar, that is something I had not considered. We tend to use the bathroom as a temp closet space/mud room. Maybe I can find a way to string a clothesline instead. Definitely, something to keep an eye on! Thanks again and Happy Camping!! 😀

Thanks! We have a 2021 Dawn Rover. We couldn’t have picked a better travel trailer as in introduction to the RV life. It was daunting at first, but now super easy to set up and go!! 😁

We use it to quickly lock our camper tires in place when we park. Much more secure than standard wheel chocks. 😀

We bought our Dawn used, but it did come with the 30 amp power cable. Intech has a replacement: intech.com/marketplace/shop/parts/electrical/shore-cord-30-amp/ There also seems to be cheaper alternatives on Amazon as well: amzn.to/3PR6aCy

These are great for tent or RV. We even use them in the house when the power goes out. 😀

The description states 3 to 7.5 hours when fully charged. It will depend on what setting you use. These have lasted us for both nights on weekend trips without having to charge.

I’m not exactly sure what size for screw and washer. Just happened to be some lying around. I wanna saw it was a half inch washer. These are galvanized, leftover from a deck project.

Those are part of the weight distribution hitch. The dealer we punched from installed it. Cut up the rack to do it 🙁. We don’t really like or use them. Our trips are not long and fast, mostly back roads and slower speeds.

The Mountaineer 2x has the same amount of BTU and essentially the same burner set up, but is quite more expensive. It's a little larger and heavier. It can be outfitted with legs to make a standing grill. That's a little more than we need for our camping, but if you wanted more cooking area, it might be a good choice. amzn.to/3TZkz2h

These lights produce a nice warm glow around our campsite, plenty of light to see and not blinding. I personally prefer these over the Cafe Style Bistro Lights. Many of the lights I see at campsites are way to bright. Plus, these are so small and easy to pack.

Thanks!! It really helps us set up faster 😀💨. We like our Dawn a lot. We used to do tent camping and had to take so much stuff. With the Dawn, everything but clothes and food are packed so we can roll a lot faster than we used to. A lot less trips loading and unloading. Sleeping arrangements can be tight, but it's sufficient. Overall, as our first RV we are supremely happy 😃 !!

We are switching from tent camping too. Will be a nice upgrade!

Our camping coffee maker is essentially a French Press style of making coffee. We like to keep it fancy 🤣! J/K It actually an easy way to make it, takes up a lot less space in the camper and is useful for backpack or tent camping as well. 😃 Good tip on plugging other exterior accessories direct into the pedestal. The family loves the extra foam pad!! In our Sol Dawn, sleeping direct on the dinette cushions is survivable, but not all that comfortable. It's good to have the extra pad for extending stays, for which we will usually leave the dinette set up as a bed with the pad. Thanks for watching!!!

@@douglasmeneilley7321 Hello Canada!!! 🍁Thanks for tuning in 👍🏽. We've had our Sol Dawn Rover for a year now since last September. We are in Virginia, so it doesn't get much below freezing around here. Last year we chose not to winterize. We just drained the water and blew out the interior lines of the camper. When it got really cold outside, we would run a space heater inside the unit. Predictions are for a colder winter this year, so we might choose to winterize and run the antifreeze through the lines. If we do, we will surely document the process. Sometimes, we refer to our own videos to remind us on how we did some things 🤣 The process is pretty simple. You just have to make sure the lines to the water heater are closed. Then you use the pump to fill the water lines with an antifreeze solution.There is a guide for the water system on the Intech Support website. I have printed a copy of that and keep it in the area where all my water lines are so I can reference it for maintenance. Love our Dawn and hope you do too!!!
