Marvel Rivals reminds me of the chaotic early days of Overwatch, but is it better than Overwatch 2? Marvel Rivals is setting itself up as the successor in the team battle arena genre, blending familiar objective-based gameplay with fresh twists and a vast array of Marvel heroes with great skins. Through chaotic battles with unique team-up mechanics, the game introduces new flexibility in hero roles; but will players respond to the lack of structured roles?
