kittens will surely push any rockets you build off of the launch platform. they have 9 lives tho and always land on their feet so maybe they are a good choice considering how many times we've all forgotten to add parachutes

I can't wait for this! I love KSP and still play it, but it's really starting to show it's age. I like the idea of kittens. They're not that far off from the look and feel of kerbals.

I am hoping for a cross between Empyrion and Start Citizen/Elite Dangerous.... We can dream right? But Sorry Shiro ................ anyone can make an awesome trailer eluding to what ever, the usiverse is large and imaginations can be larger. I will not fall prey to yet another developer with nothing but awesomely imaginitive creative claims but in the end ultimately we are usualy left with empty and endless strings promises and feeling used and taken advantag of.

I would love to see Fish instead of Kittens, they could look like Kerbals and have water in their helmets that moves around and it could move differently depending on what planet they are on or in space. Would be funny.

IMO the Kittens will be a mistake. The abbreviation will be identical rather than having their own identity. Also, I don't mind Kittens in general but don't want them as the sole characters in a space game. And I just don't think the average player wanting a KSP alternative will want kittens either for their "space men".

No one is "Good" at RimWorld. I started playing again myself, it's one of my favorite games and one i always end up coming back to. I still like the base game and usually play a modified rich explorer scenario. Look forward to more playthroughs

Never played Rimworld, I am interested to see a playthrough.

One thing that helps the planets look so massive is that they have a smaller field of view on the camera, which stretches the background to make it look bigger and farther away from the foreground (KSP default fov is very big, which is why the planets look so tiny)

This is awesome. I still havnt played KSP yet, i want to though cause ive gotten pretty into space stuff. It sucks seeing everyone upset about KSP2, ive been hoping that something will happen besides KSP2 just being nothing forever. This looks super nice. I think with how much space stuff is becoming relavent again to people their will be good demand for games like this! I hope so anyway.

also, Dawn of War and all of its expansions is only 5.99 in the sale right now. It's an old game, but I had so much fun with it as a 40k fan, I'd recommend it for that price alone. It also includes the Dark Crusade stand alone expansion, which is a massive improvement, with a campaign for every army and multiplayer and stuff. Buy it, BUY IT NOW!

The reason KSP2 used KSP1 code is not because the devs wanted to or made the decision to do so. This was a "requirement" _handed down to them from on high_ by the corporate suits who just wanted to capitalize on the Kerbal IP as quickly and cheaply as possible to maximize their profits, without understanding the realities of development -- that doing so would make it take longer, and cost more, and result in a worse product, rather than the opposite. And despite that, they were not even allowed to consult with the KSP1 devs responsible for that code! They were crippled from the start, and we just didn't know it.

The asteroid that you point out here (3:29) is a real astronomical object! designated "33434" or "ScottManley". Also the craft shown there is built from real life, also known as the "Apollo command and service module" from the apollo era of space exploration. The team at KSA confirmed that they are not at the point of making a ship designer as of now.

The main solar system likely isn't the permanent one. they chose our real world system because they have known values. once they have everything sorted they will probably change it.

I am not fan of the big zipper. They shoult "keep it simple stupid". The fact the ship look like well balanced between cartoon and realistic is good, the frontier is small between too realistic and too cartoonish. Early 2025 i still play ksp2 and fighting with the game, i have to find solutions about problems. All my hopes are on KSA. After anapurna information i don't wait anything from KSP2.
